There was a question whether I would benefit from ear implants or upgraded hearing aides. Allison was very patient with me and determined that hearing aides would be the best approach. I now have new hearing aides and am very satisfied. I cannot say enough positive things about Allison. I wanted to bring something to your attention that I think is important. My mother waited over an hour today to see the doctor, and I believe that could have been avoided with better scheduling. But part of the front office role is managing the schedule efficiently and keeping patients on time just like you expect us to be in time. It's really important that the front office knows how to manage appointments and stay on top of their responsibilities, because it affects everyone's time and experience. I hope moving forward, you'll work on improving that part of your role. It was very frustrating too wait over an hour just for a follow up visit. The front office girl kept saying we need to see the Audiolgist, which we did not, we seen her last visit there , which was out first visit. She was very uneducated on how to run the front office- seemed like she had no clue what was going on. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. We found this office off my moms Iinsurance- we were told they take the insurance until it was time to get hearing AIDS then she had no coverage. Stay away! After 2 years of treatment I was turned away as a patient because I complained (to the billing department) about double billing. After that, when I called to make an appointment I was told I was no longer welcome at the practice. It appears his office staff is running the practice. Bad reviews have been posted for years yet nothing has changed. Wonder who is running this practice--the office staff or the doctors. Maybe due to Dr. Kelsall's age he's not engaged or aware that his office is a mess. There are many ENT's out there so don't bother with this one. read more

Nope nope nope! Run like crazy from this practice, it is NOT what it used to be. David Kelsall was an amazing doctor but he seems increasingly indifferent to his long-time patients. He needs to pay closer attention to the staff he surrounds himself with. The people up front and schedulers are SO unprofessional. While sitting in that waiting room we hear personal details shared freely and can't help but wonder if ours is also shared freely over the phone to everyone within earshot. Staff are rude and give you conflicting information. The errors with insurance companies have cost us thousands of dollars. My family member didn't want to go anywhere else because this practice was considered trustworthy. We've seen several of the audiologists- had to move to another one after the one we'd been seeing caused physical damage and bleeding to my family member's ear while adjusting a hearing aid. We've seen Doctor Lupo when Kelsall was not available. Not impressed with him either. Our most recent encounter when just trying to schedule an appointment was too much to deal with. The usual unhelpful rudeness by people who make it clear they would really rather not answer the phone, and then it being insinuated that my family member was not telling the truth--- After years of loyalty to this practice we are taking our business elsewhere. read more

STAY AWAY !!!!!! The blonde audiologist is rude, the front desk staff completely clueless and DR. LUPO must think he is GOD. I was referred here for a specific audiology test, not for a whole full hearing test since I already had one completed a couple of months ago which was normal. When I told that to the audiologist she told me I could not be seen by the dr. Lupo unless they had a copy of it or they repeated the test. I wasn't going to repeat a test that had just been done and risk not having my insurance pay for it. I asked if they could contact my doctors office who referred my to see what test he wanted. After I called and talked to my referring Doctor they called the front desk person and told them what test was needed. The front desk person said she would tell the audiologist. After waiting an additional 45 minutes the snooty blonde audiologist called someone else's name and I told her the situation. She proceeded to put my chart at the bottom and repeated again that YOU CANNOT be seen by "GOD" himself unless you have a hearing test completed or a copy of the one I had done. Which I was never told prior to my appointment to bring. SO they let me sit there for 45 minutes knowing I would not be seen!!! Then the office manager comes out to repeat the same bull crap again. UNBELIEVABLE wasted 3 hours of my time to come to that appointment and rescheduled my vet appointment I had that afternoon for my dog who is limping because I thought they were going to proceed with the test. read more

I've been going here for years after needing a mastoidectomy but lately have been seriously disappointed. I was called back over a hour late and despite multiple attempts to reach my dr over the phone I haven't heard back (even after talking with the office manager). Unless you are an impeccably patient person with a non-urgent issue I recommend going elsewhere. read more

As previous reviewers have stated, RUN far away from this practice! The front office is run by a bunch of rude front desk workers with lack of any compassion or bedside manners. Let's start with booking appointments. The doctor is booked a month out, which is fine, so we scheduled an appointment for our daughter a month out. A couple days before the appointment they called and said the doctor needs to reschedule because he has an emergency surgery that day, and wow they have to book our appointment a MONTH out AGAIN. Fine, so we are another month out, and they said show up 10 to 15 mins early on the phone. So today on the day of the appointment we arrive at Swedish Parking Lot at 1:08 and our appointment is 1:30pm. They called at 1:08 and asked if we were coming, and I said yes we are already in the parking lot. I thought it strange since our appointment wasn't until 1:30pm... So we get to the office at 1:20 and they said sorry we can't see you because you weren't 30 MINUTE EARLY. WOW!!!! I was like you told us 10 mins early on the phone and they were like it's our policy to say 30 mins early. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???? We're not even late for the appointment and they wanted to cancel. Also, why didn't you just tell me over the phone! I am 9 months pregnant lugging a toddler across the street in 100 degree weather! They said it would just throw the doctors schedule off. I get it's July 3rd so he probably wanted to sneak away early but that's just bad business. You don't care about your patients and you can reschedule them mess up their schedule but when they are 10 minutes early and not 30 minutes you want to cancel? Office staff is a joke, they look like they do this crap all the time and could care less. I wouldn't give this practice any money since it seems like they get plenty and don't give a dime about any patient needs. read more

Dr. Lupo is an exceptionally outstanding physician. As a healthcare professional, I am very careful and picky about who I refer my patients to. For the past 4 years, Dr. Lupo has never let me or my patients down. He has been a wonderful partner in the management of our mutual patients. Anytime I have a question about a patient or need to get an emergency patient scheduled he is very timely and accommodating. I can count on him to always provide my patients with compassion and a long term plan for their chronic and acute health conditions. He is thorough, patient, and kind. I am a patient of Rocky Mountain Ear Center and have nothing but nice things to say about them. The staff is polite, professional and have a great sense of humor. I was referred to them for a brain tumor that caused me to loose some hearing in my ear. Dr. Kesall preformed gamma knife surgery on me and the turmor is dying. He explained the entire procedure and what to expect afterwards. He is very professional with all that he does and explains everything in layman terms to you. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Ear Center to anyone with hearing problems. One added note. I didn't regain what hearing I lost but was throughly informed of this. I have been to this office 5 times and every time I have had to wait over 30 minutes (even when I arrive 1/2 an hour early). Dr. Lupo doesn't seem to care if he makes you wait and never apologizes. I'm told doctors cannot control their time but I find it extremely disrespectful to us as patients. Our time is valuable as well. I do not recommend this doctor at all for the lack of caring and professionalism. It also doesn't help that there are not that many locations that offer these same services and perhaps that is why the doctor probably gets away with his attitude. : ( read more

Hard to evaluate the doctors because I never was able to see one. I arrived 30 min prior to my appointment per their requests ( 3 phone calls telling me to arrive early or risk cancellation). On arrival I heard receptionist say that the appointment prior to mine had cancelled. I sat in an empty waiting room with a 96 year old woman in a wheelchair for an hour. I inquired 3 times about the delay in seeing the doctor and got no explanation or apology. We left after an hour and will never return. Find another ENT practice! read more

What a waste of my time and gas. Dr. Kelsall was highly recommended to me and so I went to see him with unbearable bouts of meiner's. I was desperate only 2 doctors in Denver that did my surgery and I had already been to one that was a complete idiot. His introduction was sticking his head in and telling me "it's going to take a minute I can't go over years of information in two minutes" I had brought records with me. No hello, no handshake, no nothing. He was so rude and had bad bedside manner that I decided not to proceed with testing. After wards I found out he and 1 other doctor do the shunt surgery I need, so I decided to try and start over with him. I wanted a follow up appointment to discuss the medication he prescribed and talk to him about the way he came off and hope to start over. He refused to talk to me, would not let me have an appointment with him unless I did more testing that I had just done a year ago and had major anxiety over. He refused to even see me to follow up without the testing. All I wanted to do was talk to him to see if we could start over and that I had a negative impression. I was hoping we could iron out things and I could continue with the tests but NOPE refused to see me without the thousands of dollars on testing. Why would I have testing and pay money when I wasn't even sure he would be my surgeon? I guess it's to much to ask to have an appointment to build a relationship with someone that may be cutting you open. I thought the other guy was a jerk nothing compared to Dr. Kelsall. I hope karma plays it's hand here and a family member is suffering on his end dealing with a jerk of a doctor that cares NOTHING about his patients or helping people. read more
