I said I want them to confirm and I get money back you told my husband. Husband went to pick up and on the phone I was told $40 I would receive back on card. I only received $34.20. I was met again by the courteous staff and we had a nice discussion about the camera itself features of cameras and why my camera was worth holding onto we also discussed why my camera probably stopped working a.k.a. cameras on the beach or not a good idea. We had a 1:50 appointment, and started taking pictures around 2:20. We had a huge group, mainly kids, and so waiting was not fun. The kids held it together, though. When the photography started, the stars went up. Everyone on staff was professional and patient; they had us do a dozen or so poses, and kept the kids smiling. Took the kids home and came back to pick which poses we wanted, since there would be a wait anyway. That part went well too. Waited a bit longer for the actual prints. By the time we left, the place was just full, not packed. Maybe they had a bunch of walk-ins? Maybe they overbooked? I don't know, but I don't want to do it again. Sweetie said never again too. The pictures look really good. Prices were reasonable. I think we ended up with 7 poses, 3 sheets of each, assorted sizes. Plus a few Xmas cards, a mug, etc. Total was about $120. Really, not bad, for something like 65 pictures of a dozen people. If I ever am crazy enough to go back, it will hopefully be without kids and on a weekday...

Framing, matting, display boxes, shadow boxes, he can do it! he's actually done 2 separate pieces for me. I had a print that i wanted to get framed for awhile now, and so glad I brought it to Dave! I could have just found a big frame and hung it up, but it wouldn't look near as nice. He uses high quality stuff, nice thick and even UV resistant glass if you want, and actual wood frames, not the cheap plastic stuff you get at craft stores or Wal-Mart. And he uses all sorts of matting and colors. This is something I will easily be able to hand down in my family! And he's great at suggesting colors, and listening to what look you're going for. He also framed up my wedding invitation after my wedding! He matched the wedding colors in his framing and made it a beautiful keepsake from that day. Way better than just putting it in a scrapbook or tacking it up somewhere. And it matches perfectly with everything else in my room! If you're looking to display something, anything, this is the place for you. You will pay a little bit more, but you'll have something custom that will last. And he'll do canvas photos for you, too. I've seen medals, boy scout patches, photos diplomas with graduation hats and tassels, jerseys, even baseballs all framed up in his shop! Seriously, there's nothing that he can't do!
