I am convinced they are running this school for profit and lack empathy and sympathy towards their students. Despite being a straight A's and B's student, the teachers at AIAM would fail me and my classmates as they pleased, without being held accountable. This teacher's actions were not only unethical, but also had a negative impact on the students' education and mental well-being. It is concerning that someone who was not cleared by their doctor to teach was still allowed to do so, putting her students at risk. The failure of the entire class is a clear indication of her incompetence as an educator. The Director of Nursing does not know how to do her job, and the school shows no concern for the success of their students. In my class, we were split into two groups and our teacher had to go back and forth between the two classes, resulting in inadequate teaching and a high failure rate. Despite this, the school would still place the blame on the students for not understanding the material when they never properly taught us. It seems like they are always looking for any reason to fail their students. This school lacks professionalism and effective communication from teachers. There is no clear curriculum and changes are made without informing or teaching the students the new methods. Students are not given the support and guidance they need to succeed. This may be due to discrimination against students of color. Additionally, when students try to address their frustration and disappointment, they are treated poorly or punished.It is not worth sacrificing your mental health, money, and time at this school. It is better to go anywhere else.

I've experienced an incredibly stressful and disappointing process with Franklin University. I…read morecompleted my final course in November 2024 and immediately faced a lengthy and strenuous grade appeal process. During this time, the university repeatedly violated its own policies by missing response deadlines they established. After nearly three months, I won my grade appeal, demonstrating that my concerns were valid. However, I am now facing another roadblock: the university registrar's office has not updated my transcript to reflect my earned degree. Because of this, I am missing out on job opportunities, a salary increase, and I am unable to apply to master's programs. My academic and professional life has been in limbo since November, and despite my efforts to follow every required process, the university has shown little urgency or concern for how these delays are impacting me as a student and working professional. This has been one of the most stressful experiences of my academic journey, and I would caution prospective students to consider whether this level of institutional responsiveness aligns with their expectations.

Rather, it is principally a place of research, where a variety of specimens, images, recordings, books, and more covering a range of creatures and plant life can be studied. The collections are very impressive and run the gamut: mites and ticks, animal sounds, insects, fish, plants, molluscs, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds. The materials are used for teaching at OSU, as well as research, and the collections can also be viewed by groups, classes, and individuals by arranging a visit in advance with the museum. Annually, the museum hosts an open house, when anyone can stop by. Kids are encouraged, as well, and the staff and volunteers do a great job of putting together fascinating activities and information using samples from the various collections, as well as showing the types of equipment and methods they use to collect samples. I'd taken some impromptu lessons in a makerspace with Wichita State University Ceramics Adjunct Prof. Susan DeWitt (and she was an invaluable & loving guide!!)-- but no critiqued or graded courses! Buckeye Ceramics Supply staff is knowledgeable, friendly (once they warm up to you ) and reliable! Susan Mahoney ( I was blessed with TWO SUE's in the god craft of Pottery) -- while she worked here was a graceful and warm representative; I love that having an account at Buckeye Ceramics helps me organize my inventory and track my firings (They call when a piece of artwork has an issue in the Kiln, or when your artwork successfully completes firing). They offer studio memberships at attractive and fair rates for a compared metro area. Seasonally they give away freebies as they clean out the glazes etc from the studio workshop/classroom. Hey Introverts! Since I've been a customer I've seen their stocking change to include small local/artisan made tools which I LOVE! For example: Dirty Girls Bats. Hopefully one day they'll have Garrity Tools, or Elan Transfers, Plum Island etc etc.. but you never know what you'll find unless you frequent! I chose to take all three of my OAE assessments at this location because of them. They treated me with kindness and handled every situation with the utmost professionalism. On my second assessment, Pearson had decided to do an automatic system update mid day. Even though that caused a large delay and the need for many to reschedule, Erika and Cora handled the situation with grace as they worked hard to meet the needs of the 8 other test-takers in the building. Finally, the atmosphere in this office is amazing as well. The waiting area, restrooms, and testing room are all spotless. The entire place is clean and organized. I especially appreciate all the plants and relaxing music in the waiting room. It really helped ease my test anxiety when I walked in.
