I could have thought my sleep problem was being treated when I took an at home test and my gp suggested I get a cpap from a local company, but I went in to see Dr Kim and I wasn't happy when he suggested coming in to the clinic for an all night test. But he was right, and it turns out that even when on the cpap during the overnight I stopped breathing 37 times, so traditionaly cpap machine won't help me and I need further intervention. Parking lot is a hot mess and hard to navigate in. (Both in width and in regards to backing out of). People fly in this lot, so be careful. The building itself is older. Its near the city so its a bit of a hike for me and not my favorite OSU location, mainly due to the lot. They have renovated the inside of the building and it looks better than it had five years ago but still many walls are painted in a dismal institutional beige. Checking in is easy. There is a front dest. She routes you to a numbered stall where your information is verified. Then they give you directions to find your docs practice location. Tip: If they tell you go to the Brutus hallway that is aka as "to the right" of the front desk. I saw my sports doc here for an ankle injury: Dr Anthony. He is definitely 5+ stars. He is very good at listening to what is bothering you as well as he is examining/diagnosing/treating the injury. So far, I have avoided surgery, but he does that as well. . Highly recommend him as I have been seeing him since before 2020. He has multiple offices.... Usually see him in New Albany.

Of course, every patient has to make their own decision, but I do not recommend this physician to anyone's care. We all have moments where we are not having our greatest day, but should never be brought to work. Always care for others, and of course, patients should always show respect to staff as well.

Of course, it took a minute to locate me. But once they did, I was properly setup in just a few minutes. This was for an eye exam and optic nerve photos. I was told the visit would be 1-4 hours so I expected it to take a while. My physician was on-call which left her dealing with emergency patients while conducting her scheduled patients. At one point I played a game of "What are the differences between Exam Room A and Exam Room B" during my longest wait which was 30 minutes. It's an industry issue - same types of waits at my former eye physician office as well. Even with the wait, the appointment ended up being 3 hours and 20 minutes. All the staff were pleasant. I felt like an individual who was being heard. The decor was generally scarlet and (mostly) grey with some black thrown in. There is a little "cafe" on the first floor but it looks like it's really just a place to pick up a snack or drink while they are open. The building is next to the Spectrum Building at Gowdy Field and is easy to get in and out of. I didn't notice any bike racks. There is a traffic light there but at busy times of day, people will run it, so be careful!

When I originally went in for a Diabetic eye exam after losing my pancreas transplant, she immediately did laser surgery because I'd developed advanced diabetic retinopathy in my right eye, with no symptoms. She saved my vision! I went in every 6 weeks for 3.5 years and I'm now down to every 8 weeks. We've been doing injections for the past year or so. All of the nurses and imaging specialists are wonderful. I've been to each location and they have signs letting you know that due to their specialty, appointments may take hours. This particular location has a small waiting room once you're called back, but it's manageable. For the care I've received, I couldn't recommend them more! A special note: Gabby (one of the nurses) was super helpful by suggesting I keep my eye drops refrigerated to help soothe the scratchiness post treatment. She also explained everything she was doing!

This is not my favorite of the OSU hospitals as it's an older one, but the service was great. No complaints on the quality of care, or the staff. I had a scheduled ultrasound. I was very pleased with the time wait Customer Service I would recommend that procedure here. This hospital is a good option and maybe overlooked sometimes. Personally feel it's not as nice as the main hospital, or some of the suburb locations, but convenient location on the near east side. I would recommend and my partner has a hip surgery in April so will be able to see how that goes here as well.

I have a hearing problem, a serious one. Three years of prescription medications, wholistic treatments, laying of hands/prayer, and two different ENT specialists, it was time for a real solution. A quick Yelp search points me in this direction. The reviews were a little confusing, I wasn't sure if this office only served children. One phone call explained the available services and scheduled an appointment with an audiologists within two days. It's not just for kids with speech problems. The building itself is also confusing. There is a playground which gives it an elementary school feel. Once inside it is a regular office building. Rebecca Lockhart is her name. This is one of the best doctor visits I have ever had in my life. Actually, I'm not sure if audiologists are considered doctors. Regardless, she was so kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. She administered every test possible. Ringing, buzzing, humming, graphs, charts, and so on. My hearing was not only tested but I was educated on how hearing and ears work! Basically, I've been misdiagnosed by two specialists, it's not a eustachian tube problem but a cochlea issue. I have irreversible hearing loss in one ear. I'm mad, sad, and way too vain to accept the idea of needing a hearing aide. Jessica comforted me, (I'm broken-hearted, I'm too young for this, yes I'm vain and shallow) schooled me on the types/prices of hearing aides and let me try one out. She also set an appointment with an "ear only" specialist for a second medical opinion. I will forever remember her for the care and compassion she showed. In closing, if you have any issues with your hearing, I strongly recommend you come here and visit Jessica Lockhart. She is very thorough, not only with the office exam but also with follow up care. One last thing, I wasn't aware that most health insurance companies do not cover hearing aides. Total B.S.! I need to find out who I complain to about this!
