The equipment I was given wasn't working properly when the technician demonstrated how to use it. She played around with the connections, changed batteries and then sent me home with it. It was clear from the looks of the equipment it had had a hard life. I followed the instructions explicitly and had to reset 5x with no improvement. I slept with it attached hoping I was wrong and took the equipment back the next morning. I told the technician who gave me the equipment about the issues and she ignored me as she entered their office. I told the front desk attendant the same thing and she said "we'll see if there's any data to download and then call you". Of course there wasn't - it didn't work. They called two days later to ask me to come back during their one and only time to pick up equipment- Wednesday at 10am - and start all over. I told them I'm going to a different sleep specialist and to refund me the $35. She hung up. Inconvenient, Insulting, Improper.

The doctors are nice enough, but every other aspect of working with them is terrible. The dark-haired lady at the front desk is a nightmare of rudeness. I called to change my appointment to pick up my machine to an earlier time, which the gentleman I spoke to said was fine. When I arrived, the lady at the desk was nasty and complained that I was too early and that it was my fault I had to wait so long. She said her team member never told her about the schedule change. I stood there waiting for her to realize this was an internal communication failure, something she should have taken up with her colleague instead of berating me for it. I waited in vain. She never apologized, just continued on with her poor client service. Thankfully, another team member overheard and quickly moved to prepare my things. The same woman snapped at my husband when he came for his appointment. She yelled, saying he had the time wrong. No, he didn't. I heard him make the appointment. Ultimately, he drove all that way for nothing, as she refused to accommodate him or admit that once again, they had made a mistake. For over a month now, I've been attempting to get the prescription ordered by the doctor sent over to the provider who needs to fulfill it. I've called, and the other provider has called multiple times. No response, no action, no explanation. Here is a practice whose sole job is to help people get the medical care and support they need. Instead of doing that, they are literally stopping that from happening. There are so many great doctors and service providers out there. Do yourself a favor and move forward with one of those. Don't waste your time with these people or subject yourself to the rude lady who would rather yell at patients than do her job.

He is very down to earth and takes time to answer questions and explain all the possible treatments. He lets you decide which works best for you, and always follows up to see how things are going. The new location has more room and a bigger parking lot, and is very nice inside. I think they have rooms where you can at least lay down for short tests.

I had to conplete a night and say study and both my night and day techs were wonderful! Because I was there throughout the day I received breakfast and lunch provided from Bob Evans and I got to choose what I wanted off a limited menu. My only complaint would be the bed. You could tell people typically sleep on the side closest to the door and machines because I sunk right in but once I was able to scoot to the other side it was significantly more firm. The sinking feeling aggravated my lower back which made it tricky to get comfortable in the allotted nap times. Overall, if you have to have a sleep study Mount Carmel has been a great experience.
