I was very pleased with the time wait Customer Service I would recommend that procedure here. This hospital is a good option and maybe overlooked sometimes. Personally feel it's not as nice as the main hospital, or some of the suburb locations, but convenient location on the near east side. I told the technician who gave me the equipment about the issues and she ignored me as she entered their office. I told the front desk attendant the same thing and she said "we'll see if there's any data to download and then call you". Of course there wasn't - it didn't work. They called two days later to ask me to come back during their one and only time to pick up equipment- Wednesday at 10am - and start all over. Waiting area: Clean. Organized. Cozy. Properly spaced for social distancing. Pre-exam imaging: normal exam (including the air in eye part). During this exam, I could overhear their team being extremely patient with a kiddo who was scared of the machines. I was impressed to hear the methods they used to calm the kiddo, build trust, and help the kiddos through their exam. I would say this place is kid friendly and they give lollipops post exam! With doctor: Dr. Pipo had a booming personality. He was energetic, kind, and really reviewed my case prior to examining me further. You know when docs ask "which is better? One or two?" And you can't tell the difference? He actually explained what the differences were while determining which corrections were needed for my eyes. Post exam: Laura (specialist) helped me with selecting my glasses. I told her the style I typically like and she brought ~10 pairs to try (which all met my preference along with a few fun frames). She helped me narrow the frames down and was extremely patient with me. 30-mins later, I picked the frames that we both agreed- totally matched me and my personality. After selecting the frames she helped me to assess the appropriate additions to make for my lenses and explain insurance coverage. Jessica (front desk) helped me with selecting the appropriate contacts covered by insurance. Overall- Fantastic staff. Fantastic facility. I look forward to meeting my new frames and going back again for my annual in 2022.

Understand this caveat, NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT PHYSICAL VIOLENCE OR ABUSE. They say unnecessary or disrespectful things all the time. However, when I told one these wonders how I felt, she went crying to the "nurse in charge" saying I yelled at her. The one I had was getting on my nerves and when I told her, she went crying....I wasn't feeling well! I was in the f!@#ing hospital! They put my heart into A FIB, I was uncomfortable as hell, and when I asked this snowflake a question she didn't stop talking long enough to listen so I got louder and then she went flying out of the room, so upset, the poor thing! As I was going down to a procedure to shock my heart into a normal rhythm, snowflake's buddy, nurse in charge Ratchet, came to confront me....as I am going down to a f@#$ing procedure....."you can't yell at nurses." WTF!! You know what I did? I got my heart shocked back into a correct rhythm, I packed up and left! I found the only nurse I had during 9 days that made some sense, I packed my stuff and just told them what I thought all the way out the door. Please don't let it bother you a bit that my heart has been in an irregular beat for nearly 24 hours! Don't mind me, I'm only the patient who has had to put up with inappropriate questions, grabbing my arm while I'm in a deep sleep, and asking to a grown man, "what are you doing?" when I was trying to trim my toe nails.
