Best doctor and staff in town. They greet you by name, no long wait times and so many glasses to choose from. My whole family loves it here

My first item from here was given to me as a gift, a shirt that said "Are you high?" on it. Pretty funny if you know that they are located on High St. If you don't, it's still funny. Whenever I wear it out people always make comments about it, it's hilarious. Most recently I purchased an iridescent cropped puffer jacket for about $80 and I'm obsessed with it. I was legit just walking by on a Saturday morning and I saw it... then had to have it! Torso is described as a menswear boutique as they have a big selection of men's underwear and "swimwear" but as a female raver, this place is a jackpot for fun clothes and accessories for those late nights when I'm dancing my butt off. They have quirky glasses, masks, hats, super funky clothing, fun toys and knick knacks, and more. If you're on the hunt for a unique gift for a friend, they could very well have something for you to wrap up. As for me, I'll continue to shop here for fun festival/rave clothes and when people ask me where I got them... Torso baby!!!

Everything is color coordinated which makes shopping what you are looking for a breeze! The quality is so-so, but hey, you get what you pay for. The store is always clean and spacious, and the merchandise is constantly changing. So it's even worth it just to browse every week to see the new clothes! Their clearance is buy 1 get 1 half off, such a steal! However, their jewelry is a tad pricey. They do sell NYX cosmetics if you are fan of that brand. They have great lipglosses and eyeshadows. Note: They accept returns but only for store credit. No returns on clearance.

When I initially walked in the young man who was helping us just grabbed his bike before I could even say what was wrong and began working on it and in no time flat, the bike was fixed. All of the sales associates that helped me throughout the whole experience were patient, kind and explained everything to me and great detail, which was helpful because I am a new rider. I should also mention that I shopped around quite a bit and no experience matched the one I had with the folks from Paradise Garage. The customer service, knowledge and patience I received from Emily, Dan and Will was unparalleled. I purchased a Surly Karate Monkey hardtail, which was my first mountain bike. I had done considerable research, but many questions remained. Sizing was my first concern. Emily brought out her own Karate Monkey, which confirmed the correct size for me; and because I had decided to upgrade the tires, Dan and Will spent considerable time helping me choose which tires would be best for both front and rear. Once the bike arrived, Dan assured a proper fit. He also made certain my compression front fork was adjusted properly and that I understood how to experiment with various settings to maximize its benefit. The folks at Paradise Garage make the experience of buying a new bicycle comfortable, enlightening and fun, as it should be.

The office downtown is bigger then you first think. I was treated exceptionally by the staff when I got there. The proper work was quick, and the pre-tests were relatively quick. I personally saw Dr. Bierman who was a delight to talk to. He walked me through each of the tests and then provided me the results in an easy to understand manner. Once it was confirmed I needed glasses, he took the time, with the assistance from other staff, to walk me through the different frames and to help pick one that worked for me. The experience was tremendous and I can't wait to go back for another visit.

I had been a patient of Dr. Gilliland for 30 years and remained with the practice through its transition to Rinkov Eyecare, and eventually through his retirement and the sale of the practice to Clarkson Eyecare. Unfortunately, my most recent experience, following my December 2025 appointment, has been an absolute nightmare. As I had done for years, I went in for my eye exam, reviewed the results, ordered my prescription, and paid what I was told was the full amount due for the portion not covered by my insurance. Three months later, I began receiving emails from a third-party billing company stating that I owed an additional $62. At first, I assumed the emails were a scam. When I went to the Clarkson office to ask about them, I was told that the third party was the company they use for billing--but the office staff could not help me resolve the issue. I then spent days trying to work through their AI-powered customer service system. When I finally managed to request assistance from a live representative, I was told someone would call me. No one ever did. Eventually, I was able to get the AI chatbot to provide a statement of my account. I immediately noticed a serious discrepancy: the statement showed that I had paid less at the time of service than I had actually paid. I repeatedly uploaded copies of my receipt and credit card statement documenting the payment, yet they still would not acknowledge or correct the error. After more back-and-forth, they "reevaluated" my account and claimed that the discrepancy was because my insurance had not covered certain charges that I had originally been quoted. However, they still refused to acknowledge that their records showed an incorrect amount for the payment I had already made. After **months** of frustrating exchanges with their AI system, they finally corrected the amount I had actually paid. However, they continued to insist that I owed additional charges. At this point, I still cannot get a clear and straightforward answer as to whether I actually owe this additional amount. I may ultimately pay the $62 simply because it is not a large amount of money and I do not want to spend any more time dealing with this company. But the amount is not really the issue. The issue is the principle--and the complete lack of customer service. After 30 years with this practice, I never expected to be treated this way. A billing issue should not require months of effort, repeated documentation, and endless interactions with an AI chatbot just to get a company to acknowledge what I actually paid. **I will be finding a new eye doctor.** Clarkson Eyecare has permanently lost my business and, unfortunately, the trust and loyalty I had built with this practice over three decades.
