Dr Berwald is great and so aren't the rest of the staff, therapists and everyone else included. Would definitely recommend it.

Overall, I had a great experience and they met most of my recovery needs. No, they do not offer all…read moreof the amenities mentioned on their website or brochure, but "They're working on it." They really were a great group of people and the patients were even more awesome. God bless, the Tech's and staff of the front lines. The road to recovery is no easy process. I stayed 18 days and all in all, though chaotic at times, this place has a special place in my heart. They are BRAND new, so be patient and trust the process, they truly are working on getting everything up and running. Do NOT go to RCI in Falmouth as your next steps. You will be sorely disappointed. God bless and best wishes on YOUR road to recovery!

I was not given any medication changes for the entire month there, and they messed up insurance paperwork due to the heavy turnover of case work staff. If you are going for mental health treatment only, I do not recommend as substance use is heavily the focus and you will be stigmatized when you leave from your medical records. I also reached out multiple times for resources from a specific clinician ( which was promised to me) and never got a response. This place says it's safe for transgender individuals but it is not at all. I was suffering from acute back problems and was not accommodated with sleeping arrangements I ended up sleeping on the bare bed frame and they tried to force me to sleep on the horrible mattress which lead to a worsening of my conditions. If you have chronic health problems, I would also not recommend. They will also send texts under the guise of checking in on how you are doing but they don't walk the talk (clearly) and it's just empty empathy as a marketing ploy .

At first, 10 yrs ago, was a little difficult, and I had to drive all way to Boston, to be seen, but now with Quincy available, it's getting better....I do suggest and wish they would open up a facility in Plymouth area thou.... But, besides the distance, I go here for multiple things... I love that they have all veriaty of services, because I don't have transportation , so I am able to do multiple appointments at this one place. They also now do appointments over phone, that I absolutely LOVE, LOVE now... (Thank you pandemic). I have had all good doctors.... The receptionist are great..... Good Job New Horizons.... You have come along way.... Just keeps improving... I will say, the doctors and staff, do do a lot of turn over... They hire a lot new faces all time, I like to stick with 1 doctor, and not go threw multiple doctors, because each time, feels like your starting over again.... And I don't like that.... Considering I been going over 10 years, can be frustrating to have to keep repeating my history, and can feel like they treat you as a new patient, when really there the new person.... But besides that,....I love this place ...and plan on keep returning in future, and recommend it to a lot people, for all kinds of stuff... Thank you horizons, for the journey,.... Now pick up your phone,.... Im trying to make a appointment LOL. JESSICA J.

Unfortunately, Dr Rodrigues is more concerned about collecting on fraudulent charges than providing good quality care to her patients. She will work with your wishes and tries to send you to folks that also align with your outlook on health. She is completely thorough, she did every test under the sun it seems and because if her, I found out there was something going on with my heart and she had only seen me on an initial visit. Her front desk person, can't think of his name but he is a young guy and super friendly, kind and bubbly. The older guy, Tony, is ok but maybe just more direct and not as bubbly, but still an ok guy. Her assistant is also super friendly and pleasant. You get in and out of her office in a reasonable amount of time, your scripts or whatever you need is ready right away. I do recommend her as a Dr. I did see one of the other reviews on the blood lab tech and I would have to agree that she is snarky, we had it out the first time I was there and in fact, she left me feeling worse because of being so rude. I had my words with her and to my surprise, this last time I went she was much much nicer. Maybe I should have mentioned this to Dr Rodrigues as it is important, but I handled her myself in a kind but firm manner. Not sure if Dr Rodrigues had a talk with her or not. The blood lab person needs to understand that you're the patient and are there for a reason and that's to get better not to be treated unkindly, especially, when you're not being unkind. I feel it's unfair to give Dr Rodrigues 1 star because of the blood lab tech, since she doesn't reflect the Dr's personality at all. But, maybe she and the front person that the other reviewer was talking about need to be addressed by the Dr if they're causing low reviews when definitely the reviews should be higher because Dr Rodriques is an amazing Dr and person.
