I've been to Bedrock years ago and had a decent experience. I have been twice this year and they are under staffed, the nursing won't give you important medications like antidepressants, thyroid meds and have given patients the wrong meds or wrong dosages. They also over dose the tapers so you are a zombie. It doesn't matter if you're a 100lb young woman or a 350lb 50 year old man, the Valium and Ativan taper is the same for all. Case management acts like you're an inconvenience and will mess up your short term disability and/or FMLA or avoid you all together. There was an instance where a 50 year old man snuck drugs in and was telling everyone to come to his room to get high. He targeted a young 20 year old woman, went into her room, GROPED her and stalked her. This was reported to staff for days who did NOTHING but "take a report". She was terrified of him and myself, as a small female had to stand up to him and tell him to stop, and that he needed to leave the facility, again staff did not back me up. Thankfully he didn't get violent with me but through a fit and left on his own. Most recently, a tech staff member was caught taking photos and videos of female clients. This staff member was hired by a family member who is CORPORATE ADMINISTRATOR. People who are sent here just for a day or two observation are being kept for a week and being pressured to stay for their 30 day program. They will also lie to detox patients that their insurance isn't accepted at other rehabs they want to go to so they are forced to stay. They make you believe you don't have the right to use your phone to find out the truth for yourself. Or they tell detox patients to go upstairs to Bedrocks rehab program for a few days because a bed isn't available at the rehab they want to go to and then force them into staying by saying they signed a contract with their rehab program and if they leave it'd be considered AMA. I have no idea who the director is but they're only looking for $$$, they cut costs everywhere they can from food to basic meds they should have on hand. Their techs work their butts off and are paid crap. They have the wrong approach because the recovery community knows Bedrock is an absolute zoo and a disgrace. The only people who care are most of the techs and some of the nurses. I won't be surprised when they lose good employees because they're sick of it too. It's unfortunate because Springhill and Mayflower are owned by the same parent company and have great programs. Do not go to Bedrock, it claims to be high quality care but it's basically the new Highpoint. read more

You are dehumanize when you walk though the door. Rules are not consistent. Patients are treated poorly from first step in the door. Patients are less than because they are addicts! Get with the times Bedrock. Most of your rules are useless. Employees dont even know why rules exist. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Inexperienced management , type of care is questionable the staff is overly friendly to patients

Was stuck with a transphobic therapist the majority of the time there, was bullied heavily by another patient and not enough was done to protect me. I was not given any medication changes for the entire month there, and they messed up insurance paperwork due to the heavy turnover of case work staff. If you are going for mental health treatment only, I do not recommend as substance use is heavily the focus and you will be stigmatized when you leave from your medical records. I also reached out multiple times for resources from a specific clinician ( which was promised to me) and never got a response. This place says it's safe for transgender individuals but it is not at all. I was suffering from acute back problems and was not accommodated with sleeping arrangements I ended up sleeping on the bare bed frame and they tried to force me to sleep on the horrible mattress which lead to a worsening of my conditions. If you have chronic health problems, I would also not recommend. They will also send texts under the guise of checking in on how you are doing but they don't walk the talk (clearly) and it's just empty empathy as a marketing ploy . read more

The experience with the billing department has been very difficult. My child had continuous health insurance coverage during her stay, but it did switch to COBRA because she turned 26 and could no longer be on my plan. I got multiple calls inquiring about coverage and there was a threat to release my child my child early. Now, here we are in May. Still getting bills. Still finding errors in the insurance claims that were submitted. I'm constantly on the phone to resolve this issues, all while my daughter is trying to get back on her feet. If Bedrock cared about patients, they would put more care into the administrative side of things and not cause all this additional stress on patients and families. read more

The quality of care at Bedrock Recovery centers is far from above average their team of clinicians , nurses , psychiatric nurses, case managers, after care coordinators, MAT coordinators , group facilitators and Behavioral technicians are amazing! They are there because they truly care about the patient. They are not in it just for a paycheck. There are many activities to do at bedrock including Pound Unplugged, Trauma informed yoga , sound bowl healing , kitchen therapy, art class, music therapy, along with a movie theater, a basketball court, barbecues in the summer, special guest speakers monthly, commitments, all along with one on one therapy sessions, bedrock recovery centers covers it all using all pathways to Recovery, including AA/NA ,Certified Smart Recovery facilitators , Dharma recovery , Refugee recovery Celebrate Recovery and more . Bed Rock Recovery Center has it all !!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED . read more

Please do not send you or your loved ones here. They put me on a medication for detox which I told them I was allergic to and would no work and I went into delerium tremens. I insisted to the nurse practitioners on duty this was not the right treatment for me. No one listened and said that's the way it goes. Only when I started seeing things that weren't there and begged to speak to the doctor did they give me the proper medication after I spend 2 days in hell there. You are locked in like a psych ward and if you would like to leave to seek treatment elsewhere at a qualified facility it takes hours of them trying to convince you to stay. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. You are better off at the hospital than here I am also gay and the other patients called me horrible names and said they were going to beat me up when the cameras weren't looking. Please send your loved ones elsewhere for help. read more

I do not recommend this facility. You can never get in touch with anyone in management and they are the only ones who are able to make any decisions or changes to your plan. They stole items from me as well. If you love the person you are trying to help or help yourself find a different detox facility. This place is shady at best. read more

They lie to get you there and the staff (caseworkers) lack any compassion. They don't treat you with dignity or respect of follow through with help or the things that they said they were going to do if you don't do what they want you to do which is stay. You are unable to get in touch with anyone in a managerial position. The only person that you can reach are the intake staff or the recruiters. There is so much I could say about this place. Make sure you do your research and ask a ton of questions. But even if you do ask questions they lie about their services and you won't find out until it is too late and your are checked in not getting what was promised. BEWARE. read more

Overall, I had a great experience and they met most of my recovery needs. No, they do not offer all of the amenities mentioned on their website or brochure, but "They're working on it." They really were a great group of people and the patients were even more awesome. God bless, the Tech's and staff of the front lines. The road to recovery is no easy process. I stayed 18 days and all in all, though chaotic at times, this place has a special place in my heart. They are BRAND new, so be patient and trust the process, they truly are working on getting everything up and running. Do NOT go to RCI in Falmouth as your next steps. You will be sorely disappointed. I am writing as a family member. I was contacted as the emergency contact person for my brother. The clinician wanted to set up a family meeting to discuss his continuation with residential treatment after detox. I was told the meeting was with her and the residential director, Cameron. This was scheduled on his third day of detox. He called and he was still on detox protocols, feeling okay but did not sound like himself, as I would expect. He told me there were 6 people in the room. The meeting was people listening in on his call to me. He became very defensive and agitated when the clinician interjected commentary about residential treatment. He didn't want to have a conversation with me with 6 people he didn't know! He ended the call and I was left quite upset and unsettled. I was not contacted by the clinician after the meeting and I have been trying to reach out to Bedrock for 2 days now without a call back. I have tried Clinical and Nursing in the Detox unit and it goes to a general mailbox. There is also a mailbox for reception. The practices that I have witnessed are deceptive and rude. I'm concerned for my brother's health and safety as I write. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for qualified addiction treatment for your loved one. read more

Due to The kind and truly amazing staff at bedrock recovery I was able to gain not only my sobriety but the trust of my family, friends and my supervisor at work who seen me look and feel better than I have in a god awful long time due to my using! I thought that I wasn't a good human being and today, I do not believe that! she has helped me believe in myself! Understand that as long as I don't use, I have a chance to succeed in life. live a happy, healthy, prosperous life something that I was not doing when I was under the influence! She taught me that there were different outlets to handle my stress death and loss of relationships. this place is awful, do not go here. first they put me in a room with someone who had covid, they then told me i had to isolate in a room for 3 days, when i asked about going outside to get fresh air or explained that the reason i was there was for groups, they did NOT give me an option they told me i had to leave, at this point i am crying thinking they are going to take me home, they told me they are going to bring me to hospital and hospital will give me a cab voucher (the women at the hospital looked at me like i was crazy because they dont do this) they left me stranded with no money no way home and a dead phone 2 hours from where i live. this company does not care about you they care about your money.
