Absolutely terrible experience with PureGym/Blink…read more I ended up spending over $400 in only about 5 months between monthly payments, annual fees, cancellation fees, and even collections. At one point they already sent me to collections and I had to pay around $120 just to resolve it. The customer support is awful. There is basically no real support inside the gym, and online support is email-only. They take forever to respond and often just send automated payment links instead of actually helping. The gym itself often smells bad, especially like sweaty socks, and there are barely any employees around who can actually assist members. The biggest issue is how they handle memberships and contracts. They advertise cheap monthly prices, but they do not clearly explain: the 12-month contract commitment, the annual maintenance fee, or the fact that cancelling early requires paying a $62 buyout fee. A lot of younger people and students sign up without fully understanding what they are agreeing to because these important details are buried in fine print and checkbox agreements. Even after I paid the cancellation fee, their system kept asking me to pay again. This has honestly been one of the most frustrating gym membership experiences I've ever had.
