I excitingly drove to this boxing gym in hopes of finally finding some boxing classes, and beginning immediately. My excitement changed instantly with just a few feet in the door. There was a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL man, who claimed to be the owner sitting at the door. I said hello there, I am looking to get some information on your boxing classes. No hello in return, just a point, a point in the direction of desk/ clear class case with papers scattered all over the place. I turned to ask which paper, and just a point again. As I'm trying to scan through the pile of papers. The man with No words sucks his teeth so hard and got up with an attitude, as if I, the potential client, just ruined his entire day. I immediately said no thank you and walked out. The gym was empty and I can clearly see why. This place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! This encounter took place 8/10/21 around 4pm. One of the best boxing gym in the city. I'm 43 years old, and my intentions are to get in shape as well as learn boxing skills. (Trying to achieve my boy dream ) I got it all. The class is 2 hours length and includes: a) the warmup similar to cross fitting but pointing towards to build your body for boxing b) learning various boxing techniques c) working with the heavy bags. And more ... Coach is friendly and very responsive. He is the owner of the club, so I guess he care about every client. Due to my schedule , I can only attend morning classes, but heard that the place is full in the evening. Big plus it is not humid , like other basement type clubs in the city. This is one of the best boxing gyms in Brooklyn. My son has been going there since he's seven years old the coach is amazing. He trains them the old school way. The classes are two hours 6 days a week go as often as you please. The coach not only teaches them the basics of Boxing but also teaches respect. I highly recommend this gym. read more
