I got majorly scammed by a fake locksmith company over a year ago. After that traumatic experience I reached out to this company and Shawn and Esther provided a 5 star experience. I was able to get on the schedule fairly quickly and their prices are more than reasonable. My tenant just moved and I reached back out to this company on their day off yesterday and Esther went out of her way to email me to tell me her husband is sick and recovering from an invasive surgery. She referred me to a different trustworthy company. Amazing service. I was gifted a safe 3 years ago that stopped working (the keypad). And none of the company's trouble shooting tips helped!! I found this business on Yelp, and I'm soooo glad I did so! Requested they come for a lock out. The tech called me and told me that he would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Over an hour later he calls back to let me know he took a call between the time he said he'd come and that he was going to be another 30-45 minutes. Don't call super unreliable. Shawn and Esther are amazing AMAZING people. The lock on my front door was worn so the key would be jammed in there after it locked. Sometimes it would take almost 10 minutes just to try to jiggle for the lock to release the key. I have carpel tunnel and I'm about to give birth in a few weeks so this lock would make my blood boil just thinking about it having to deal with that. They helped me last minute bc the previous person I hired made an appointment on a day he didn't work? So needless to say I was upset. They're quick, thorough, honest and affordable!! Our Vehicle was stolen along with our home key so I yelp message Combo Lock and Safe Friday night around 11:50 PM. They (Esther) called ASAP when they got to the office in the morning and had Shaun the locksmith and owner within a few hours doing rekeying w/o an appointment. I know Saturday is probably the busiest day for any locksmith since everyone is off but I do appreciate the effort and time Shaun and Esther made to squeeze us in to do some re keying to our home in between jobs.. My neighbor had locked herself out of her house in the middle of a very hot day. I called Combination Lock and Safe and the lady who answered was so very very kind. Unfortunately her crew was at a job too far away to be able to help us quickly, but she gave me two other companies to call, and then gave me a quick price run down so that if I had to contact someone she didn't know, we didn't get ripped off. Shawn came out to take a look at my mailbox lock that I was having issues with at my house in Brentwood. He actually showed up earlier than expected and gave me a phone call letting me know. As we looked at the lock, it was just as simple as tightening a lose part on the lock. I must have just overlooked it myself. Shawn did not charge me for the call out. OMG, what a pleasure to do business with this Company!!!! After having a nightmare experience yesterday with Bay Area Best Locksmith, both Esther and Shawn were a God sent! Not only did they quote me a set price for the work, but they did not lie or give me the run around like Bay Area did! Esther was so sweet and pleasant on the phone! What a phenomenal customer service person! She quoted the set price, gave me an approximate time the SAME day, and Shawn actually showed up at the given time to do the work!!! Shawn was a sweetheart. He was very quick and professional. He rekeyed 3 locks for half the price that the other locksmiths had quoted!! And, he did it in about half an hour!! There was no funny business, or trying to gauge prices, or changing the prices once he was here! What I was quoted was what I paid!! Yay!! He even threw in some extra keys for me! I was so happy and impressed with both Esther and Shawn's professionalism, especially after dealing with the scam artists from Bay Area, (see my review of them on Yelp). Sean and Ester are both amazing! Very good communication and awesome customer service! I needed a safe opened in my garage and Sean came a bit early then scheduled. He texted me in advance of his ETA. Upon arrival he tried to open the safe which I had the combo for. After about 30 minutes worth of attempts he diagnosed the problem and gave me an honest estimate on what to do next. The safe combo had been hit with a sledgehammer before we attempted to open it. I know because I was the one who hit it! As I did that a few months ago. I must've broke some mechanisms and parts to get it open. Sean gave me a ballpark estimate and his wife emailed other options of getting another safe since the price for labor/parts were going to be higher then getting a new safe. I highly praise my 5 star review for this company because no up-selling was done. He didn't even wanna charge me for his 30-45 minutes spent for this appointment. I still paid him though! i had purchased some cabinets but the previous owner lost the keys. I called Combination Lock & Safe to see if they could help. Shawn came out that night to look at them.
