Combo tacos was really really good about 3 yrs ago... they've always had great service and it's a nice atmosphere. BUT I came here again and I noticed that not ONLY are the salsas and dressing lacking that kick ass seasoning that normally fish tacos NEED; the prices are insanely steep! How do the locals afford these tacos anymore. I understand inflation is up everywhere but how is it that 4 TACOS COST ME 440 pesos!!! So in American dollars, this is about 6.50 a taco bc yesterday to buy pesos was 17 pesos to a dollar. This is absolutely crazy expensive, it's ok I'm glad there's a lot more fish taco options in Rocky point!!! HASTA LA VISTA COMBO TACOS!!! Never again, now I understand why they don't have the prices for their tacos. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW BIG THEY ARE! Locals cannot afford these ridiculous prices, PRICES NEED TO COME DOWN ALOT!!! Still amazing after all these years. The pescado and camarón are to die for but it's really the topping that make their tacos special. The slaw, the pickled onions, the sauces......AMAZING. The staff is super attentive, and the outdoor (overed) seating is very fun. Others comment on the prices...I get that. Welcome to the best fish tacos of your life -- and trust me, I majored in tacos with a minor in lime cilantro sauce. If you ever find yourself in Rocky Point aka Arizona's beach and have a thing for fishy taco goodness, this is your spot. They've got this odd tunnel thing that starts off looking like a kids area but opens up to a gift shop and ultimately into the outdoor seating, with a bunch of really elaborate Halloween themed decorations along the way (it was November haha idk). You order your tacos at the truck in the center of the outdoor seating and then put on your toppings at the toppings bar (coleslaw, red onion, green onion, pico, lime, and sauces on deck). They come out to about $2.50 USD each, and each taco comes with a verifiable HEAP of fresh, wonderful fish. I'd go for the combo and mix tacos (marlin and cod, I believe). No bathroom, and they don't take discover card. But if you like local food, this is it man. read more

I only wish we had photos to contribute but the food is just so good that all you want to do is dig in right away. Photos are an afterthought! What you can expect is a couple of tortillas heaped (yes heaped) with delicious seafood (mostly breaded). The cammaron tacos are our fav!!!!! Pretty good tacos! They're cheap and are pretty massive. I got one Combo Taco and a Taco Cameron. Are the first one without a problem then ended up picking the meat off the second one because I was so full. The tortillas are fresh. The seafood is fried. You can top the tacos with whatever you liked. There's a bar with limes, slaw, onions, pico de gallo, and a variety of salsas. I also got the corn...don't get it. I will state 5 stars for their shrimp tacos...wow! Super fresh shrimp & you can definitely tell. The fish and marlin tacos are good also. What Iam not happy about is their pricing and their peso to dollar conversion. Our group felt they totally ripped us off after we ordered 30 tacos to go at 50 pesos each. At the end the total came out to $88 dollars! We didnt think to ask or double check the rate but we saw the lady cashing us out wrote 17.88 as the rate when it was 18.50/ 19.00 everywhere else we went so it should've been $76.96. Whether they did it knowingly on purpose or they were not sure of the rate, I would just caution anyone going here to make sure you ask first. It didnt help them seem any less suspicious after all the dirty looks we got for ordering right when they closed but we had no idea until after we ordered! There was no sign & no one told us anything so they shouldn't have been mad at us. Oh well lesson learned, hopefully this helps others. read more

Can I say AMAZING!! Always great service when we come here they have outside seating and fans everywhere their bathrooms are super clean and they have sinks to wash your hands before and after. Battered fish and fish tacos were huge !! If you order 1 be prepared to eat 2 with that same one! So be careful ordering! All their sides are good other than their sauces being extra watery! Taco Combo is a great place for lunch when the weather is right. All outside seating. Great sauces for the tacos. My issue with this place is that the last time I went, the tacos were $50 pesos and they raised their prices to $70 pesos. That is 40% increase. It is like a fast food place and their is a tip jar even though you serve yourself. I felt like $50 pesos was pushing the limit for Rocky Point since most all other "fast food" places are much cheaper. Lower your prices or I will not be back. read more

On our last two vacations here, stopped by and ordered tacos. The staff are a bunch of high school aged kids, maybe slightly older, but def no customer service skills at all. The place is fine, plenty of seating and the atmosphere is loud and typical. Expect to just eat 2 tacos because they are heavily loaded, though not the most inspired or interesting. The topping bar is what makes them interesting but I'm talking about the breading used to coat the fish and the shrimp. I'm hoping we find much better taco experiences, flavor wise, around here soon. read more

Yes the tacos are loaded...but quality ocer quantity any time. I was looking for some good fresh fish tacos. Unfortunately this was not the place. Its just teens cooking and seems like they dont care how the food is cooked. When i eat a fish taco i expect it to be hot and just freshly cooked. Was i wrong here, the fish was already precooked chopped and put in the tortilla. Fish was soggy and lukewarm. I would skip this place and go for one of the smaller humble joints. They really do know what they are doing and most of the time its the owners making the food and caring how its made(not the case here). Best seafood tacos ever! They tasted great, the toppings offered were great and the prices were extremely reasonable! They have a small souvenir shop inside, sell ice cream and even has a small attraction for kids to enjoy. I loved that there was a boy (restaurant employee) walking around and handing balloons on sticks to the kids. The paying process is a bit odd but not complicated. Combo Taco serves great fish taco's. There were a lot of locals and Gringos there. Prices were fair and kids had fun running through the tunnels in their little play area. The food is prepared in a food cart right in the middle of a big covered dining area. There is a handwashing area and bathrooms in the back and soda chilling in ice in the front. Great location for those staying at Los Conchas or heading out to the pier. read more
