Most events seem to be under $20, and you can purchase tickets on their website. It's set up so there are a couple of tables around a stage; if you're a small party, you could share a table with other folks. I suggest going when the doors open so you can pick out your preferred seat. The staff are super kind and cool. They do sell food and drinks which you can consume during the performances, but there are also a zillion restaurants nearby too. I've seen a comedy show and a movie screening and had a blast at both. However, besides those 2 things- I would STILL make the trip from anywhere else in the city to come here, especially because of the caliber of comics they have here! I have always gotten free tickets here, or my comic friends have put me on the guest list, so I have no idea of a cover charge or ticket prices. I have also used free ticket ads to gain entry. Either way, there is a "2-item" minimum, essentially 2 drinks or food items, and that even includes water. I stick with beer. I had a martini once, and it was expensive and tasted terrible. Popcorn is good, and pretzels, while microwaved, are also good. There is a bar with a couple of booths up front while you wait, and then once you come in, it is a small room with a stage and a bunch of tables. You are seated in the order that you come in; if you want to be up front, get in early. After you are seated, the servers start taking your food and drink orders. Every time I have gone, there were several comics, it has always been a fun night, and if you want, you can fraternize with the comedians before you go in! This is always a fun night out, there are so many restaurants around that you can either eat first and see the second show, or see the first show and then eat.

They also have food and drinks/cocktails. Me and my friends became regulars. It is a fun activity to do in Harlem, just one block away from Central Park North. In typical comedy style, this show is held in a basement theater. It's at 74th and 1st (seems to be attached to a church?). The venue was only half full the night we went (I think they are new at this location, the word might not yet be out), but the show was great--this was true improv, the actors very talented.. We will return!
