The showroom is in the back and is small & dark which is perfect for a comedy club. There's also a small sitting / waiting area up front that's very cozy & welcoming with additional seating out front for nicer weather / smoking I presume. No bad sight or sound anywhere in this main showroom so that's a plus. Seats about 30 to 40 if I had to guess. It's also run by Comedians so it's pretty much the best vibes you can get for a comedy club. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

We picked Bushwick Comedy Club because it was near our dinner choice, was a great price, and had no drink minimum (we also learned later that it's BYOB, which is cool). I've never been to a comedy club, let alone a smaller, more intimate club like this one. So, I was a little nervous! I didn't know if I could fake a laugh if none of the comedians forced a genuine one, but luckily that wasn't an issue. The lineup of comedians here were great! It was so fun to see everyone's different styles, yet they were all so funny. One comedian in particular had me and my friends crying with laughter. Plus, the guy who runs the comedy club is funny and very friendly and hospitable. Bushwick is lucky to have such a cool spot in its neighborhood. Check it out if you're in the area!

The small venue was packed with a high-energy crowd, great music, and sketch comedy that had real heart and bite. The cast (Danvers Onions!) served up a Saturday Night Live vibe with a Beetlejuice twist--absurd, sharp, and super entertaining. One line from the show really stuck with me: "Onions don't cry." And in my view, they laugh with tears of joy. Accessible location, food options all around, and a bar that opens before showtime. Don't miss your chance to laugh, think, and feel like you're part of the scene. Highly recommend!

Decor was super cool and trendy throughout. Very clean as well. The event was intimate. It's BYOB and they also generously provide some free drinks as well. There's no purchase requirement aside from the tickets. The comics we saw were funny and had some great stories. Definitely enjoyed our time and had some good laughs. Everyone there was also super friendly. Will be back for sure!!

In just the past few months I've seen Todd Barry, Adrienne Iapalucci, Myq Kaplan, Maddy Smith, Matthew Broussard, Carmen Lynch and more perform there. You can't get a free standup comedy show that high quality anywhere else in NYC. Plus it's BYOB. On Friday nights, unless they're putting on free special shows (often themed roast shows, which are hilarious) they have back-to-back free open mics at 10PM (Bubblebath Mic) and 12AM (Toaster Mic). I've been to a lot of open mics as a performer, and these are my favorite to perform at. They feel like real shows, and are often as funny as them, plus you're seeing up-and-coming talent who will be your favorite comedians of tomorrow. I've discovered plenty of great comedians this way, and I've gotten better as a performer by signing up. What Laramie (the owner) has done for standup comedy in Brooklyn is welcome and impressive and admirable. Basically a guy turned his own building's basement into a standup comedy club, and it's lowkey better than a lot of comedy clubs out there. Something about the stone walls, sound just sings down there. 30 people in a crowd sounds and feels like 300. Don't sleep on this place!

If you weren't at last nights show you missed out!! One of the best shows I've seen!! I really like that it's always a mix of comics. Some have been on late night tv and others are up and coming. You can't beat the price either. You'll see some of the same comics from the big clubs for a fraction of the price and there aren't any drink minimums, however, the drink prices are also great so if you're like me you'll have 2 or 3 anyway.
