My first time here at this venue and they have more than 1 stage for more than 1 event going on…read more They got the main stage and black box with a waiting area with table games to kill time. I came here yesterday with my friends to go see MC Jin and it was a sold out venue. The main stage was pretty lit especially the lit up sign on stage. When MC Jin came on stage there was a huge standing ovation. I had a good time with his material and I admired his enthusiasm that did not let me down nor did I ever got bored. He kept the audience going on and alive. So I wish Second City had more food options because it just got 4 items for food. You got pickles, hummus, and fries for appetizers and only one entree on the menu, which is a burger with fries. That's not a lot of food options. My friends and I got fries and hummus to share. The portions were large for sharing. The hummus included pita bread, cucumbers, red bell peppers, and carrots. Pretty filling. Now with the drinks, Second City had a huge list. I ended up getting Learn Chinese cocktail, which is exclusively for the MC Jin venue. I was disappointed at the contents and how much was in my glass. They did not fill it up to the top. It was like 2/3s of the cocktail in the glass when they served it to me. I was so shocked at how little it was. It also did not get me hooked. It felt like nothing although it did taste fruity. I should have gotten a draft beer or something else instead.

We saw Montessori Boy here and had a wonderful timing! Seating is great and gives you a nice view…read moreof the stage. Food and drink are fairly priced - we enjoyed wine, beer, and fries!

One of the best comedy clubs around in terms of price, size & chill levels…read more Always great lineup of diverse comedians usually in a showcase setting - meaning multiple comedians, each doing @ 12 minutes, one after the other for about an hour and a half. The showroom is in the back and is small & dark which is perfect for a comedy club. There's also a small sitting / waiting area up front that's very cozy & welcoming with additional seating out front for nicer weather / smoking I presume. No bad sight or sound anywhere in this main showroom so that's a plus. Seats about 30 to 40 if I had to guess. It's also run by Comedians so it's pretty much the best vibes you can get for a comedy club. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

A group of friends and I were visiting our friend in Brooklyn and decided to check out a comedy…read moreclub during one of our nights. We picked Bushwick Comedy Club because it was near our dinner choice, was a great price, and had no drink minimum (we also learned later that it's BYOB, which is cool). I've never been to a comedy club, let alone a smaller, more intimate club like this one. So, I was a little nervous! I didn't know if I could fake a laugh if none of the comedians forced a genuine one, but luckily that wasn't an issue. The lineup of comedians here were great! It was so fun to see everyone's different styles, yet they were all so funny. One comedian in particular had me and my friends crying with laughter. Plus, the guy who runs the comedy club is funny and very friendly and hospitable. Bushwick is lucky to have such a cool spot in its neighborhood. Check it out if you're in the area!
