Do not talk to anyone over the phone about mobile phones because they will scam you. They try to collect your information and then lie about what is actually going to commit you into a 3 year contract after saying that a phone is free. Google them with AI and you can see for yourself how they use scam techniques to lock you in as a trap. They target Senior citizens who are vulnerable like myself especially. Public BEWARE of this corrupt company! I've been trying to cancel the scam phone sales since the day it happened and they just keep sending emails wanting me to activate a phone I haven't received! My mom lives in Westport and has Comcast/Xfinity service in her home. A few days ago, her laptop would no longer recognise the Xfi router that was provided by them. I called the 800 number, spoke with a really nice woman who advised us to exchange the router. We drove into Aberdeen and visited this Comcast store. I don't remember our cashier's name but the receipt said her name was KJV. Pleasant enough when we approached the counter but when we started to talk to her and ask her about this happening, there was a very dismissive undertone present that just screamed, "yeah...here's your new router, call customer service if it doesn't work and GTF out. NEXT!" It was really THAT bad. I'm not sure if it was because she was very young (the other customer service personnel seemed very friendly and approachable) or if she felt like she was privileged and we were just peasants. When we walked out, I looked at my mom an said, "man...her attitude should be put in a blender!" My mom could do nothing but nod her head and agree. read more

I don't know where to Start!?!?! Trying to get new service to new address have had mail box and address issued from county for over 2 months and Comcast doesn't recognize address as valid. (PUD is hooked up Amazon delivers)1 week & 5 phone calls later I'm no where closer to getting service started! Got a construction team phone number given to me and your supposed to leave voice mail and I cuts you off before you can leave number and name. i have had these guys for 10 years. Not good ones either. Why? Only game in town. I have had nothing but trouble getting my bills paid on time because i need to call it in on cards at different times...best of luck with that peeps. The IA they use can't keep my never changing street address or phone number straight so i can log in. I have missed being late on payments a half dozen times which would have hurt my credit score....do they care? oh were soooooo sorry. I can't even get a local office 35 miles away to answer the phone so if i want some attention from this company i gotta start early in the morning and drive 75 miles round trip....whoops there goes 20 bucks in gas....and sit in line until i can talk to someone about how to pay a bill. All they say is follow the promps and get on auto pay. Well that doesnt work for everyone. I am burnt out on this. Crispy Crittered to the big time. I think i will talk to Verizons new plans and upgrade my phone. I'm tired of this lousy treatment. Trying to get help when you need it from comcast is like trying to find a whale in a fishbowl. It is totally frustrating. All they want is to offer you a "chat" with their robot agent. They offer a limited selection of issues, and if yours is not included, you go round and round trying to find someone to help you with your issue. I FINALLY got the promise of a live agent and was number 23 in the queue. I got down to number 12 and got cut off. I tried to find it again with no success. So I started the process again, and when I finally made it past the robo agent and was promised a live agent, a message came up saying that I already had a chat on another site, so use that one! I am so totally frustrated that I would love to cancel comcast totally. I'm just not sure that there is any internet provider in the area that is better. But I really cannot recommend their service to anyone-unless they have time to burn and love being given a mechanical run around. read more

Comcast....I've tried 3 time's to use their services only to be dissatisfied. Always lured in by pricing...! This is definitely the last time I will ever use Comcast!! It blows my mind they have any customers at all. On 9/28 I called Comcast to have service set up. I was told at that time that I would have 30 days to try the service before receiving a bill and that they could have a tech out on 10/1. I received a bill on 10/4 (1st issue) The tech that came out was great, got everything taken care of. Shortly after he left, our main TV stopped working. After checking the cables we found that he HDMI cable they had installed was broken. We tried a different HDMI cable and it wouldn't work. Because of my work schedule, I wasn't able to call them until 9/7 to report the problem. At that time I let them know what had happened and they said that they would send out a new cable and I should have it within 4-5 business days. As of 10/19 I had still not received the cable and called them back. I spoke with Sue. She informed me that she could see the order, but the cable didn't get sent out. At that time she gave me 2 options, have a tech come out or I could go to the local store and get a new cable, but if it was damage we had caused that I would be charged a $70 fee. I told her at this point I didn't even know if I wanted to keep the service as nothing had gone as promised and now I am being told that they could charge me if they found it wasn't their faulty equipment. (How do you prove that the cable they installed was broken, we hadn't moved the TV or any of the cables). She completely ignored my request to cancel and went right back to her 2 options, no apologies, nothing, acting like this was our fault. I opted to have the tech come out, however, I think I am going to cancel and go into the local office and see if I can get some resolution for this. Also, as a result, we haven't had the ability to even use our main tv, DVR, on demand etc since 10/1 and no offer to credit for services not rendered. Needless to say, I a not a happy person right now and wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. I feel like I was completely misled and now i am just a number, none of my concerns or inconveniences are even acknowledged. read more
