I've never had a truly bad experience with Xfinity service. However the experience in the store today was truly unpleasant and unsatisfactory. I came in to simply return my equipment. I walked in the store and no one greeted or even acknowledged my existence for over an hour. The lady that I was sitting with that was there before me said she was waiting 45 minutes more than me. I watched customer after customer walk in and again, no one acknowledged or greeted them. There were 2 workers each dealing with 3 separate customers for over an hour for sales. No one even looked up to the customers obviously just looking around for acknowledgment. I had to flag a worker down to just beg to simply return my equipment. It took no more than 5 minutes. The lady that I flagged down was pleasant and helpful, but very clearly overwhelmed with customers basically stalking her to try and get some assistance. The staff that was helping customers were making sales, not trying to mitigate simple customer concerns or returns. I've never had worse customer service with the exception of the poor lady that I had to flag down after waiting for so long for a 5 minutes interaction. There is no excuse for this and I cancelled my service. My husband and I are considering cancelling our services at our other house as well. I really hope this message goes to customer service because this is completely avoidable and unacceptable. Just simply say hello and give a time frame for help. Xfinity of Manahawkin not only discriminates against women but they're rude while not knowing what they're doing. I went in to get a replacement phone to find out that they had canceled my account and allowed my husband to come in without my permission to open a new account then when I told them I didn't give any permission they refused to help me rectify the problem and with every single thing that went wrong for me they began smiling bigger and bigger with each misfortune and started giving each other high fives and making jokes about us in front of us instead of helping. We called corporate 3 separate times and they continued to tell us they have no idea why this location refused to help me when I did in fact have access to replacement devices on my account I pay for. We eventually had to file a formal complaint due to the lack of customer service and the disgusting behavior of people who are supposed to be trained in customer service and deescalation but even the manager seemed to ENJOY a customer in distress. Absolutely disgusting behavior from Stephan specifically with how he spoke to us and about us and we're taking our business elsewhere because the people specifically at this location. Horrible experience and I don't recommend going in here with a problem unless you want to be made fun of and poked fun at extensively. read more

I went to watch a show that I missed on a NBC app on my phone. I had needed to acquire a hot spot because my school's connection was so bad. So in the past all I had to do was press on the show I wanted to view. You would've thought I was attempting to launch a missile with all the info. these retards wanted to know about me. I went onto a chat line with a moron who had, I'm guessing a 3rd grade education who took 20 minutes to ultimately tell me that I then had to call into the company! Usually it takes about 26 seconds to change a password. So Being fit to be tied, I call in and the assholes want me to run diagnostics on my modem which would've taken the better part of 2 hours. So I now have to set aside time to deal with the imbeciles. Earlier, my family member was on the phone because they "what do ya' know", over billed us in their favor of course.And when you're waiting for them to get the gumption to do their jobs, they're trying to sell u some more useless products. Our reception bites & when we do get the 12 or so channels on, they're movie re-runs from the 80's! So essentially we're paying $150+ to watch fuckin' Gomer Pyle reruns! read more

Unfortunately giving negative stars isn't an option. I have been trying to get my Comcast service installed properly for over 2 weeks. They have not shown up for 5 appointments. I have called customer service countless times and always get some story. No one at Crapcast care about you or your problem. Go with Directv. read more

My review is for comcast in general and I wish I had one good thing to say about them but I really don't. I tried to downgrade my package because I am paying for channels that I never use and it only makes sense that you would save some money by downgrading. Not the case with comcast, they have the same BS story every time you call. They say it will actually cost you more to downgrade because of the great deal you got when you first started. They make it as confusing as possible so you just give up and stay with an expensive package. Sadly it is just one more corporate giant screwing the little guy as much as they possibly can. I just like so many others have no choices it is comcast or no one. Another complete and total BS situation. I would never recommend them to anyone and I would dump them in a split second if there was any choice. The Comcast Support Representative stated that I could go to my closest Comcast Store( Manahawkin,NJ) and do the following: Exchange the incorrect cable dvr box that they sent to my home as a replacement for the defective brand new one they installed 2 days eariler, exchange a x1 remote control ,purchase a set of wifi pods to increase the range of a new router they installed 2 days ago, and lastley pick up a 4k HDMI cable which never was left when they installed my defective 4k DVR 2 days ago. Well the Comcast Store took back the wrong box they sent me, they did not have a new 4k dvr box to replace my defective one at home, they couldn't exchange my remote because they said they have no remotes there, I couldn't purchase the wifi pods because they don't carry them and I have to purchase them from Comcast on line and they don't carry 4k HDMI cables only regular ones but Comcast sells the 4k DVRs which comes with one ! So I walked out the store with nothing !!! Why do they bother even having a Comcast Store when they basically have nothing! The Comcast Support people should be told to stop sending customers to their stores. Very poor customer service for paying Comcast over 230.00 a month for service!!!! Unfortunately, Comcast has a monopoly on Long Beach Island in NJ. I pay for approximately 250 and get on average 20mgps. I have tried to correct this issue multiple times and spent several hours on the phone with them with no progress. They have also set up multiple appointments for me, had me wait several hours and eventually cancel my appointment on multiple occasions. This has occurred three times in a single week. To say that Comcast provides a terrible customer experience is an understatement. I highly recommend that another provider offer service to the LBI community and I can almost guarantee that you will see several thousand homes switch services. read more

Moved into the area. The only choice of internet service and cable TV is Comcast. It is horrible. Every time I call about service or billing I am put on hold for 15-20 minutes. After talking to someone I am put on hold again 15-20 minutes. All they want to do is sell you a different package. Never resolves the problem. If I could I would change my service to the other big carrier. Had it up north and it was far better. read more
