01/08/2026 - I went into this liquor store and asked the Indian man behind the counter (in the blue…read moreshirt) if he carried something called "Everclear". Without hesitation, he pointed to my left and said "it's right there". When I stepped over to the liquor to my left (by the register), he corrected me and pointed again saying, "no, over here" at which point I saw two bottles of Everclear sitting in a box; one was a 750ml bottle of Everclear and the other was a big jug of Everclear. The 750ml bottle sat behind a hand written price of "$21.??"(I don't remember how many cents). The jug of Everclear was posted as "$33.??" (Again I don't remember how many cents). I grabbed the jug of Everclear and the Indian guy rang it up and said "$42.99". I pointed out to him that the sign says it's $33.??. He immediately got defensive and said "that's not the price". I said "it's says right there on the box that its $33.??". He said something to the effect that someone must have set it there, in the wrong place. When I pressed him again about the cost error, he got pissed off and started saying something to the effect "I've work here for a long time, 16 hours a day. I know how much it cost!" I should have walked out w/o the Everclear but I was flustered and gave him the benefit of the doubt." Either way, he cheated me. He knew without hesitation, exactly where the Everclear was and, if someone picked up both bottles and put them back in the wrong place, he did not correct and relocate the bottles when he made the discovery that they were in the wrong spot. The Sun City Center community has been supporting this privately owned store and its success for a long time. Does this guy think it's ok to cheat the customers who make this store successful? How long has he been ripping the community off?? I will never go back to that store. I suggest if you shop there, walk away if he tries to charge more than what is indicated on the shelf. Better yet, stop shopping there. We shouldn't support a business that cheats the very people it owes for its success.

Wine selection is not huge compared to liquor selection…read morebut they still have plenty to chose from and they have a great liquor selection and great prices. I was in yesterday and the owner was wiping down the counter, pen credit card reader after each customer. I prefer purchasing from smaller store rather than big chain and this will continue to be my go to for liquor and wine.
