I have been to several location. I realized the one Blanco Rd is closest to me. I love the 24 hour turnaround. The one on Bitters Rd stained my white pants with the steam iron. When I pointed this out they quickly corrected the issue. I changed only because the Blanco location is actually closer. read more

I just moved to the San Antonio area for work and decided to trust Comet Cleaners with my laundry, considering that they were franchised I trusted that they would do a good job. I was told that my cleaning would be ready for pick up on Friday and when I went in Saturday morning only part of my laundry was there. I then found out that they out source all the laundry and they could not find my other pieces. I work for a retailer in which we have to wear there clothes, and what was lost was my uniform. I never got a call saying that my things were found so three days later I went in and my cleaning was there. I refused to pay for the cleaning considering that it was three days late and therefore they refused to give it to me. I ended up paying and the manger said she would give me a partial credit however, I never expect that I will never go there again after this merry go round. Very rude manager named Laurie giggled at me when I spoke to her on the phone. I have told everyone that I work with as well as other retailers what has happened at this particular Comet. I had three new long sleeve shirts dropped off for dry cleaning and pressing with heavy starch. I'm guessing they were cleaned but they were definitely not starched. The pressing was bad as there were no creases on the sleeves and the pleat on the back was crooked. This has been addressed before and the answer given by the cleaners is that the starch needs to build up over time, meaning being them back and we'll keep charging you. You can get a better starch pressing out of a can. In addition, they way they are packaged wrinkles them even more. The collars have to be re-ironed because they look terrible. I'm looking for a cleaners that can clean and NEATLY press and starch shirts and pants. This place is not it. I don't know how it rates so high. read more

I honestly don't understand how they got 4+ star rating. i dropped of some clothes to get dry cleaned and they didn't even clean them. Ironed maybe, some were still wrinkly. They weren't washed because it still smelled like regular regular tumble dryer without any freshener. very disappointed. would not go back. I have been coming to this cleaners since Caroline left Foster's Cleaners on Wurzbach to work here. She is so friendly and helpful, I decided to change cleaners! I met Lori shortly after I started bringing my business here. Caroline and Lori are both great and you can tell they enjoy their job. Comet does a nice job with our clothes. If for some reason I am not satisfied with a garment, they go out of their way to fix the concern. This cleaners is not near my house, but I am in the area often enough that I don't mind the drive. It's worth it to know that most all of the time I go pick up my dry cleaning, either Lori or Caroline will be there. They also do Home Delivery. Their prices are very reasonable. I've been trying this cleaner now for two months. They have managed to butcher two shirts. They have offered a credit which is nice when I questioned why they sent the shirts back out to me without checking them. I didn't discover one of the problems until I was out of town with no option left the morning I needed to wear it. The process of dropping off and picking up is very cumbersome and time-consuming. I have checked reviews of other cleaners and have not found one to be satisfactory. It's unfortunate the north side of San Antonio does not have a cleaners that doesn't great job. I may return to the cleaners I was using before even though the staff was very unfriendly but at least they didn't screw up my garments. read more
