Secondly, they have a staff member here while they are open and lastly - the machines are new and very clean. No. More. Quarters! They have a card system which you can use instead of dirty disgusting quarters. AND, you can use a credit card to load the laundry card. The only negative - and I am sure it depends when you visit - is they provide laundry service so many of the machines are in use. I highly recommend this place! I have been using EX Wash located in the HEB lot off of Austin Highway and Harry Wurzbach (have submitted a separate review for them). Avoid this place at all costs.

I rarely use a laundry mat... I loath laundry mats…read more Rapido Wash Laundromat is close to home tho so I gave them a try earlier in the year when I need to wash comforters. I have since been back more recently to do the same. In and out as quickly as possible. Luckily the staff have been quick, kind, and courteous helping me figure out what I need to do to wash my items. The business seems clean enough, so no complaints. I really was in and out pretty quickly tho. Machines don't take coins. It's all on a prepaid card... at $10 a pop to fill! This is where I have a love/hate feeling about this. Will I go back, probably yes. It's close. And I need to keep my comforters cleaned on a semi-regular basis.

I have been using this laundry mat for two years as it is close to my home. I have looked past the filth, the lack of parking, the broken carts with hair in wheels and the lack of hot water and soap in the bathroom. Many African people use this facility. I overheard the hourly employee say that the Africans are dirty people who don't know how to use soap. Racism has no place in todays society. Over the holidays the lazy hourly employee closed early. There was notice for Christmas Eve but not New Years Eve. I was told to leave despite no notice of being closed. I was yelled at called "a privileged white bitch" Contacted the owner after the holidays and got the employee fired.

When I…read moregot it back, both my long sleeve and short sleeve shirts were missing the second button, which is a pretty basic detail that shouldn't be overlooked. On top of that, neither shirt looked properly pressed or finished, it honestly didn't look like any care was taken to present the uniform professionally. For something as important and expensive as a uniform, I expected much better attention to detail and quality control. I wouldn't trust this place again without thoroughly checking everything before leaving.

That's nine loads of wash or three sleeping bags in one machine, y'all! Pricing ranges from $1.25 to $2.75 based on the washer size. True, they only have one size dryer, but there are plenty to go around and they're generously large. 30 minutes for every dollar you put in. This location does *not* accept credit cards. Bring cash. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a fair amount of people, but I would say most of the machines were free to use. No crowding, no waiting. Plenty of room to kick up your feet and browse Yelp on your phone while you wait. They're open 24 hours, so any time is a good time to visit. Yes, the wallpaper is peeling and such, but the facilities themselves appear in pretty good condition. There's an undersea mural across the center roof support. Nice touch. The soap dispenser machines could use replacing Two I tried to use were broken and swallowed my quarters. You'd be better off stopping by Family Dollar about a block north before arriving and buying your own laundry soap and whatnot. Same deal if you want a snack. The vending machines are in a pretty sorry state. Most are empty, but even so, they have the obvious signs of a vending machine that is going to eat your money and disappoint. One of the interesting things about this location is the large wooden fort which I can only assume gives kids something to do while their parents wait for the wash. There's no TV or other entertainment. It's something at least! I know from my own kids, a bored child in a laundromat is worse than a toothache. This location, and *all* E-Z Wash Laundrys are unattended. That means no dry clean, no security, and you're probably not going to have anyone to return your calls immediately if you have issues. Not sure where y'all have been going to do laundry in the past, but it's I don't know why anybody would put a load in and leave the premises then expect it to still be there when they came back. That isn't something particular to this location, that's all laundromats. True, I did have some rando who smelled like bread yeast try to sell me candy bars while I was there, but he buggered off when I said I wasn't interested. I prefer that to some of the power hungry attendants at supervised facilities obsessing over how many quarters you change vs how many loads you're washing.
