Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).

Thankfully we had a second dress as a back up. Lastly, there was not a clear price articulated until the dress was ready (they texted the day before pick up and requested cash for a lower amount - $70 fee to use credit. I did not believe the rate aligned with the original quote. The owner was extremely offended by my concerns and explained they were up til 2am working on the dress. (note: they gave us a discounted rate after concerns shared but the husband was very upset, argumentative and vocal with me in front of the bride). Sissy's kindness and gentleness was this couples only redeeming quality. I will not return because of the lack of professionalism and the dress breaking, as I anticipated. If you use them ask for a solid price quote well in advance and get it in writing. Also plan to pick up weeks in advance just in case.

This location is only 2 minutes from my gym, so it was still very convenient. Glad I did because the service was friendly and quick. I was in and out in no time and was told my 4 pieces: a suit, blazer, and skirt would be ready before 6 pm the following day. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick them up until a few days later, which the rep said would not be a problem. It was the same rep when I picked them up today. She seemed under the weather but was courteous and wore a mask and avoided in engaging in small talk as before, but this did not come off as rude, instead, to prevent unnecessarily spreading germs. Although the pricing was still more than I would pay outside of Stone Oak, it was still less than the last place I used and just as convenient. Based on my first experience, I would recommend them.
