Had a great experience getting my bridesmaid dress altered here. I got my dress hemmed and a slight alteration, and it fit perfectly. It was ready by the promised date and they called to let me know when it was ready. They were also really nice when I came in. My dress had a ton of buttons in the back and she was more than happy to help me get the dress on. I don't really get a lot of alterations done so not sure how comparable the price was but I'm very happy with the work and experience I had. Just keep in mind they only take cash (no cards). The work done was fine, but they missed the promised finished date by over a week. Decided to give them a second chance since the work was good and cheap but they missed the date again by over a week and when I picked up my pants there was an extra charge I hadn't been told about in advance. Too much hassle for simply hemming a few pairs of pants. read more

Took my 93 year old mom in for alterations on the hem of two outfits for my niece's wedding. Since mom can't stand for long and has one side that always rides up on her clothes I was fearful they wouldn't be able to pin and sew the hems straight. They understood the challenge and were able to fit my mom in 10 minutes with only a few pins on one corner of each outfit. The end results were perfect! I'm now getting them to alter two of my outfits and since I can never find clothes to fit I'm sure I will be taking more to them in the future. Reasonable turnaround and price too! read more

Being new to the area, I was searching around Yelp and online for a local alterations shop to hem some denim and a dress. One shop from Yelp I showed up at ended up not being in business anymore (doh!). I luckily found this shop and wanted to make sure others in the area know about it. I am also new to the area and found this alteration shop on Yelp. I needed a cocktail dress for my daughter's wedding taken in and knowing it was prom season, I allowed plenty of time. The turnaround time was prompt and the fitting was just how I wanted. I also took in a pair of my husband's pants for a zipper replacement. They did an excellent job on both. I highly recommend Comfi-fit. They have a lightning turn around even at the busiest of seasons. As far as I know, they only really do machine work for the most part, however their machine work is of the highest of quality in workmanship.
