I dont want to single out the location that services my account....and I wont get specific either. Other than to say, if you hire them...have ground rules before their aides enter your house. They eat and take whatever they want and sleep through their shift. They're always fashionably late. The relationship with management isn't any better. The other thing that is worrisome is the feeling theyre spiraling out of control. Maybe it's the nature if the home care business but it always feels like they're one or two small crisises away from the wheels falling off.

It was clear from the start that finding the right caregiver and meeting all of Mom's needs was his top priority. The daytime caregivers did a great job with all medical needs and provided the companionship and entertainment that kept the days fun and meaningful. The evening caregivers were awake and on alert for all the evening needs. I worked closely with Pat and would oversee a lot of situations that happened behind the scenes. There are a lot of things to balance when scheduling multiple caregivers every week, along with the intensified medical needs of the patient. Pat provided a a way to for me to communicate with her and the caregivers, by providing a online chat forum. This was very helpful because I could ask questions to a specific individual or a group and everyone could follow along and were aware of the ever-changing situations and needs of the patient. I felt like Pat was not only caring, but she went out of her way to make sure that supplies were ordered, doctors' appointments were made and even attended some of the doctors' visits when necessary. She also provided companionship and would stop by on occasion to visit and follow up with her employees.
