I kept going back because of my good history there, but the last three times I made purchases there, they ended up being SO UNCOMFORTABLE. They're so clearly not my size. I've almost started crying in the middle of the day because of how bad they felt. I gave them all a few tries because the sales people insisted that they would stretch and become comfortable. The worst thing is when I went one last time to try and show them how badly my last purchases were fitting. The woman was SO RUDE. I think that she's the person who runs the store, now? I didn't even get an "I'm sorry you were uncomfortable." She bared said a word, just frowned at me. Then, when I put on the bras to show her (the one I put on had a cup that was at least 2 sizes big, it dug into my arm pits and had a ton of extra space below the breast) she just told me that it fit properly. I've been buying specialty bras for over 20 years. I have some idea of how they should fit. She just frowned at me and said that it fit. She didn't offer to show me a different size or try to fix it the situation at all. I was insulted, dismissed, and made to feel like I was the problem. I promise that I wasn't being rude, even after my third and final bad purchase. I just needed her help to fix the problem, but apparently she found this to be an insult and could barely be bothered to look at me. All she did was tell me that I was wrong for being uncomfortable. I hope this place closes so people aren't treated the way I was.

I was prepared to spend almost $800 on 4 bras ($179x4 + GST). She brought me one bra to try on and said it was the only one she had in my size. I had trouble doing it up and she didn't even offer to help. So the next day I went to Melmira and had absolutely fabulous service. I tried at least six or seven bras out of the 10 or 12 she brought me. Needless to say I spent a great deal of money there and I would highly recommend them.

That there is no return or exchange on sale items but on regular priced items there is a 7 day window. No reply was provided. This bra doesn't work with my clothes. This place doesn't operate ethically. Please really be careful they will say anything to make a sale. The sales manager's approach is rude when I asked her why she was dishonest and not transparent with their policies. Now I am stuck with this product. It's a painful lesson to learn that there are establishments that operate unethically. Please be careful. It surprises me that Sophia would allow her staff to operate using unethical business practices. Tarnishing her reputation. The fact that sophia has not reached out to resolve this matter further supports this review. I have read reviews from 8-9 years ago and they have been operating using these same unethical practices.

I clearly explained my boob situation prior to engaging in a fitting and was told, in writing, that what I was asking for was absolutely doable. 2. At the first fitting, prior to payment, I again described exactly what I needed and was assured again that it was possible. 3. While the bra is custom sewn for each client, you must select from their existing styles. That was not made clear. A bespoke bra should be just that. Not a modified version of one of a few available styles. 4. As we continued to discuss my particular boob challenges, their solution was to stitch in a bunch of small pads (they only carried one size and type of pad that would only be effective for women with smaller breasts). This made for a very lumpy bra and those lumps were noticeable through my clothes. My husband asked me what was wrong with my boobs. Yikes. 5. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I asked if we could just do what I originally asked for (and was told was absolutely possible) but this time, post-non-refundable-payment, was told, "We don't own that kind of machine." Had I been told that the two times I asked about it before shelling out $800, I wouldn't have purchased the service. 6. Because they only use one kind of pad, which was too small for my breast size, I had to purchase a variety of pads for trial and error. That added even more cost to the bra. My assumption was that a bespoke bra company would have all the sizes and shapes necessary to accommodate their clients. That was not the case. 7. Ultimately, I have an $850 bra that I will never wear. It's uncomfortable. My boobs fall out the bottom of it. I'm constantly having to shift them around. I have ended up using my leftover pads and a $14.99 bra from Walmart to create my own bespoke bra that is more comfortable than any bra I've ever owned. I made it very clear in all of my written and verbal discussions exactly what I wanted and was told it was possible. Apparently, it was not. And now I'm out almost a thousand dollars.

I needed to get myself some new bras, so when I saw that La Vie en Rose had a March sale for buy one cotton bra and get the second one 50% off, I jumped on it! I ordered the bras online, as I did not feel comfortable going into the mall to shop for one. My order was shipped in two parts, since they did not have the bras that I wanted in one location. I did not mind receiving my order in two parts, and the wait for everything was only max 2 weeks. When I tried the bras on at home, I realized that they were not the right fit. I did not want to mail the bras back and pay $7 for the return. Plus, I direly needed some new bras, so I put on my COVID-19 gear (two facemarks, face shield, and gloves) and headed to the mall for an exchange. I should mention that I ordered the same bra size that I usually wear, but with the COVID-19 lbs that I gained, I needed to get a size up. (And probably from all my washing, the bras that I had stretched quite a bit! I desperately need new ones!!) I got to the store and told the sale associate that I wanted an exchange because the bras did not fit. She asked "What was wrong?" and I said, "It did not fit." She asked again, "What was wrong?" and I said, "Nothing, it just did not fit." What I did not realize was the associate was trying to help me find the right bra size. You see, bras are complicated. It is not like a t-shirt that is either too big or too small. When a bra does not fit, it could either be a band issue, a cup issue, or both! Honestly, simply finding "just the right" bra is a work of art!! I give it up to all you ladies!! Here's the funny story: In order for the associate to process my exchange, she needed the order confirmation in my email. Unfortunately, right at that moment, my phone battery died, and I did not have a charger with me. I was thinking of quickly going to the Apple Store, charging my phone for a bit and then returning to the store. But the associate was kind enough to grab a phone charger from the backroom and allow me to charge my phone in the front of house. After my phone turned on again, it took some time for the email to load. But once it did, the associate took a quick picture of the order confirmation and processed my exchange. (Speaking of which, my phone is due for a new one some time soon...) With such patience and kindness from the associate to not only help me figure the right bra size, but to also process exchange.
