Been staying at this hotel for years and put thousands of dollars into it, yet, despite booking for…read morea week and paying in advance, I was called by the front desk and told I had to vacate the room because someone else was taking it over. I tried to explain that I had booked the room already and even confirmed my reservation with THREE different staff members, however, I was told that their night staff took my money but "didn't extend my stay on their computer" -- it was the manger who booked me in for a week and yet she's the one who told me to leave in order to make way for the new guest. After that whole fiasco, I was then told to pack up my room and be gone by 12:25 or I wouldn't be refunded my money. Once I made it to the lobby, I was made to wait 20 minutes while the manager chatted on the phone because apparently calling someone else to help me was asking too much. I tried to discuss the issue with the GM who was rude and extremely condescending. Trying to fix the issue didn't help though because I was told I wasn't welcome back to the hotel. After leaving the hotel, I was approached by the GM in the parking lot who told me to either sign a receipt or give her back the refund she issued me. Now keep in mind that this was MY money that had been refunded by the hotel after they kicked me out despite me having paid and being booked. I told her I wasn't giving her MY money and she then attempted to grab my arm and then stand in front of my car. I'm not even sure why I chose to come back to this hotel because they don't clean the rooms. I stayed here for 3 full months back in 2022, and it got so bad that I had to go out and buy a broom, mop, mop bucket, and cleaners. In the end, I ended up spending $150 to clean the room. Housekeeping entered my room once and a pair of diamond earrings that I had sitting on my end table went missing. I practically tore my room apart searching for them because I didn't want to believe they would steal from me, but they were gone. After that, I just took anything of value with me when I left the room. Some of the staff are extremely sweet people but the majority are rude.

I have never had such terrible service EVER!!…read more I arrived at this hotel and the very first thing that hit me was a noxious smell emanating from the carpet which must have never been cleaned because it was so over powering I had to comment. As a model/actress I was booked out of town for a two day shoot so the production company paid for my room for two days. They sent me all the necessary info including the fact that the company card was on file however upon checking in the rudest lady (Keeley was her name ) basically scoffed at me and claimed that I required a second credit card or $200 deposit. Even though the room was pre paid and I had an email with all the info proving this however she continued to giggle at the fact that I was now stranded. She barely made eye contact and seemed to enjoy the fact that she was making things difficult... Continuously chuckling as if this was her sole source of amusement. So at this point I am stranded after driving over an hr, I get to wait for the production company to clarify what I'm sure was pretty clear to begin with. If your looking for a clean place with adequate customer service, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UPDATED..... Once I finally made it to the room I was hoping the star rating would increase however if I could give them zero stars I would have. The room itself was pretty unkept with dead flies in uncleaned window you couldn't even open a sliver for air. Which was actually desperately needed as the room itself smelled rank; after some investigation I discovered the smell was coming from the fridges freezer which they clearly had not cleaned and de thawed over and over making the smell worse every time. The beds seemed clean on inspection however the right top corner of the left bed (right by the end table on the corner of the beds mattress) had a large stain either wine or vomit that could not be sufficiently removed. The bed appeared comfortable enough with varying pillows from soft to firm however getting a good sleep in it seemed impossible! My neck and back were getting progressively worse every morning i woke there and I was forced to stay here for 3 days so you can imagine how bad my back was upon leaving. The thermostat in the room seemed to be malfunctioning, many crew members complained about this fact as well. The amenities were not impressive either with a TINY super run down and unclean exercise room they advertised as anything but was situated beside a small but seemingly untidy indoor swimming pool I never dared venture into. A breakfast at McDonalds or any fast food place would have been ten times better as they were serving some mushy scrambled eggs I was pretty certain was anything but eggs. I don't mind having to pay for my breakfast and don't expect much for free but if they're saying they offer breakfast I would expect food. And lastly again the service here is THE WORST I have ever encountered. After complaining because of the horrible service management began harassing us to "talk" to us when I was on a very tight shooting schedule and could not take the time as I said to wait around to discuss what they should already be aware of. Not only that but after being fully informed that I was with a production company that had the corporate credit card on file they continuously kept slipping a daily bill under my door even after going down to clarify to which they said it was a mistake HOWEVER the very next morning there was yet ANOTHER bill addressed to me. This hotel has to be the dirtiest Holiday Inn I have ever had the misfortune of visiting and the customer service only made it that much worse

The people were nice, beds comfortable, and food good. The hotel has a lounge, restaurant and a rooftop to hang out and eat/drink at. There are also a lot of options on main street just out from the hotel. The hotel use to be a post office, originally built-in 1914, and they incorporated that nicely into little touches inside the hotel. When you walk in you are in the lobby/restaurant area. The front desk is right there. During my whole stay I received great customer service. I surprisingly arrived on their grand opening day. They had a soft launch open two months previous. For being a new hotel my stay went smoothly. If you walk in from main street you are on the second floor. There is a parking lot/garage on the first floor. It seems that this option is the only accessible option since the second floor/main street entrance has stairs leading to the door. I stayed on the third floor - room 305 to be exact. I looked out onto main street. The elevators on each floor have their own room, so to my knowledge there are no hotel rooms next to a noisey elevator. The door leading to the hotel rooms is a heavy door and slightly loud though. My room was away from the elevator room door so it didn't bother me. One thing I love about this hotel is they used thick doors and the walls were thick and made well. I didn't have a problem hearing any hotel neighbors. I did hear noise from the street below, usually from the nightlife, but it never lasted too late. I do sleep with a white noise app so that helped. My room was done very well. I loved the decor and ambiance. It was high quality. It took me a minute to figure out the blinds haha, but I was very happy with it. My favorite part was the bed and pillows - it was so comfortable. Usually hotel pillows (even high end hotels) aren't that great in my opinion because they sink or her squished easily, but the Postmark hotels are the perfectly confortable. I slept super well here. Last note - they have a water station on the second floor down the hallway of the rooms. They supply pitchers and ice buckets. I loved having pitchers of water for my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

This was the cheapest place to crash at while in Toronto (it's a bit north of downtown Toronto in King City) for about $80 USD/night for the suite. It had a half kitchen with a fridge and microwave (no stove). They internet was free but you had to ask the front desk to activate it and it's not WIFI. It's via ethernet cable and they'll provide you with them. The rooms were decent sizes. By the way, in case you're curious, this is a college dorm that's used as a "hotel" during summer breaks, hence the super low cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful even if they couldn't do anything about the two beds per bedroom situation, that I blame the headquarter company based stateside for this blunder. They have a movie room that's open during certain times you can go check out and watch movies and such. There's a small community area out back with picnic tables and BBQ grills. Outside was peaceful and quiet (for the most part). I got lucky going there that there weren't any conferences or huge events going on because I can see how this place can get loud and rowdy if there were anything big going on. The last night I was there, there were a group of dumb ass kids talking real loud and running around in the back area and they were out there from about 10pm to 1am. I was going to tell them to shut up but was too tired to bother. If you go to this location, the main entrance is easy to miss. It's a narrow road that leads to a pair of guardhouses with lowering gates. After you pass those, make a left, not right. Once turned left go all the way down till you hit a T-junction and make a right. Go down and over one speed bump and it's on the left. It's really easy to get lost here since this is a college campus. Make sure you call in to make your reservations. Driving in and getting a room will be more expensive. You must pay for parking and they accept credit cards or Canadian cash only.
