They do have complimentary coffee, hot water, and tea bags near the front desk; this was a welcomed addition as a snow storm hit during my stay. The small fridge and microwave does come in handy if you are staying a few days. The room was pretty clean and spacious, but the curtains don't close all the way; I normally wouldn't care, but my room was on the second floor and people outside can easily look right into your room. Another annoyance is that it can be difficult to find parking in the evening as the lot isn't that large and spaces in the front are partially taken up by the hotel next door. I like the look of the large glass walls of the shower, but there is a huge design flaw as the swinging door collects splashes and the water starts to leak out onto the bathroom floor. They do provide a towel on the door, so I guess they are aware of this issue. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. The drawbacks weren't serious, and the friendliness of the staff were top notch. I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

I am a hotel snob so this says a lot. I know most people would be pleased with their stay. We thought the lunch in the hotel restaurant was very good...glad we split the French dip sandwich because it was huge and delicious. Soup needed to be re-heated as it was served luke warm. There is also a bar and coffee bar in the lobby. Coffee was really good. Check in was slow and disorganized. We were offered an upgraded room if we waited until the room was cleaned. That was a mistake. We ended up waiting in the lobby for 3 1/2 hrs and our room was the same as others in our party. I am not deducting a star for that bc everything else was excellent. There are a few local Asian type restaurants in a short walking distance. Hotel lobby is quite high energy, lots of people coming and going, others enjoying the bar area, and I like the open area. Parking is plentiful. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

It's spacious and clean, 2 TVs and plenty of sofa seatings. We had a comfortable 6 nights stay while visiting from NY. We really love that hotel guests can use the Unionville Athletic Club on premise. The gym is big with a lot of machines & workout equipments. Plenty of parkings on site (with fee) and very convenient location for us considered our visit mostly for Asian food/eats. We will absolutely stay here again on our next 'food trip'!

The hotel is in a great location because there is a complex across from the hotel where a bunch of restaurants are located. So there are plenty of food options nearby. The room itself was clean. No sign of bed bugs. Hubby inspected the room thoroughly before we brought our cat & clothing in. We got a room with 2 queen beds. There is a mini fridge in the room along with a microwave & a coffee maker. There is also a closet where an ironing board & iron are located. In the bathroom there were clean towels & a hair dryer. As well as complimentary toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, soap). There is a desk in the room which is attached to the unit which the tv sits on. Also there is a club chair by the window & a small cafe table by the chair. Unfortunately our room was facing the road which can get pretty noisy. So if you're going to stay here & are bothered by noise ask for a quiet room. Also on our second night there people in the room next to us & across from us were making noise in the hall way at 12.08am. Seemed like they were having a party in the hallway. I complained to the front desk about them. They prevented me from getting a good night's rest. I had breakfast at the hotel & the options are limited to continental breakfast, 3 egg omelette (with sides), 2 eggs your way, pancakes & waffles. I was craving smoked salmon but they didn't have it unfortunately. So I got the omelette & it was delicious. They made the order up quickly as well. Waitstaff were friendly, fast & efficient. The hotel restaurant is pretty quiet usually because of all the restaurants next door. Checking out was easy as well. They have a pantry with snacks & other essentials by the front desk. I will say hubby was able to get free stuff from the pantry. But when I asked how much I had to pay. Next time I'll just get hubby to get it for me. He always seems to get stuff for free.

The hotel appears recently redone and the front desk staff are kind. The rooms are comfortable with enough plugs, allowing me to use my Roku to keep up on my Netflix shows. When I pulled up the the building, I thought they rebranded it as I sworn I've stayed here under a different Marriot brand. I pulled into the back parking lot which you have to register and pay for if you're a guest. There is a parking station out back but don't use that as it's way cheaper staying as a hotel guest. At front desk, they had a pretty decent sized lineup but they got through it pretty quickly. They asked if I checked in and I let them know when they were under a different name. They told me they actually have 2 hotels here which is confusing but confirmed that I had stayed here before. Front desk staff were really nice to me. They let me know that breakfast is included. I headed to my room and got settled. The room I had was pretty bright from all the natural light. The room has a tv, desk and a fridge. The washroom looked decent but later found out that the shower/drain was a bit finicky. The bed was decent. I tried the breakfast. It's super basic and it's OK at best but I do like that they have a few fruit options as well as yogurt. There's hot items and all things you'd find at a continental breakfast. Coffee is passable. I never checked out the amenities so can't really comment on them,

I had the option to check in mobile but the weird thing is that you still have to arrange the parking because guest get a reduced $8 overnight charge vs the $10 and I had a promo card waiting for me. The room was quite spacious for a king with sofa, but you can hear the vehicle traffic all night. The black out curtains sort of did the job, the air conditioning is loud. And you can hear the refrigerator. If you're a sensitive sleeper this may not be for you. Also throughout the night can hear someone above- but I thought I was top floor??? Level of cleanliness was moderate, you can see some visible dirty sports. For the price points at $300 and change after tax, it was a bit steep. I booked this hotel months in advance for an international birthday trip from the United States…read more What followed was six nights of compounding failures, deliberate misinformation from hotel management. 6 rooms across 6 nights: Room 405 (Apr 23-27) -- Original suite with king bed, kitchenette, and tub. Vacated mid-stay due to a plumbing emergency. Room 414 (Apr 27) -- First replacement. Significantly smaller, double queens, none of the original amenities. Room 201 (Apr 27-29) -- Second replacement. King bed but smaller, no kitchenette, no tub. Suffered a second plumbing failure on Apr 28 and sewage odor Apr 28-29. Room 204 (Apr 28) -- Temporary room provided solely so I could access a working shower. Room 212 (Apr 29) -- Staff physically unlocked this room for me to shower. When I returned, the door had been shut. Staff re-opened it -- and we discovered it was occupied. A female guest was in the process of changing. Hotel staff had twice granted me access to another paying guest's room. Room 203 (Apr 29) -- Final alternative after the Room 212 incident. Had the same sewage odor. Completely unusable. What went wrong: The lobby and pool were under active renovation my entire stay. I wasn't told until one day before arrival, despite booking months in advance. Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. The hotel's solution was to bus guests to a nearby Sheraton for pool access -- not acceptable. One elevator was out of service for an extended period. I have a medical condition affecting my knees. Repeatedly climbing multiple flights of stairs was a genuine physical hardship. Renovation appliances including microwaves were stored in the hallways throughout my stay -- a safety hazard and well below any brand standard. On April 27, I was forced to vacate my original suite mid-stay due to a plumbing emergency. Every replacement room offered was a downgrade. At no point was I given a room that matched what I had booked and paid for. Room 201 was placed directly above the active pool construction. On April 28 -- my birthday, the entire reason for this trip -- I was woken at 8:20 AM by loud drilling. Later that same morning, the hotel called to inform me that Room 201's shower, sink, and toilet would be out from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Nearly nine hours without basic water access. Upon returning to the room that evening, there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was still there the next morning. The Room 212 incident is the most serious failure of this entire stay. Staff directed me to and physically unlocked an occupied guest room -- not once, but twice. This is an egregious breach of guest privacy and safety that should never have been possible under any operational circumstance. When I raised the issue of my 60,000 IHG points used for my April 23-25 reservation, the property manager told me she did not have the authority to process a points refund and directed me to contact IHG corporate. I did exactly that -- and IHG corporate confirmed that she does have that authority. She had the ability to resolve this at the property level and instead chose to send me on a deliberate runaround. That is not a miscommunication. That is a manager using a false claim to avoid accountability. The hotel offered a partial refund of $147.70 against an original charge of $606.92 -- and only before the most serious incidents had even occurred. IHG denied my formal points refund request. This is our first stay at this hotel. Honestly it was a great hotel and we will definitely be coming back. Our room was clean and updated. The breakfast was hot with some variety. It was nice to see the hotel busy with lots of guests and each evening of our stay people hung out in the lobby. Lots of life in the hotel is a good thing! Even with a large number of guests the hotel breakfast was able to keep up with the demand. Parking lot was good. With the heavy plowed piles of snow and the fact that they shared a parking lot meant not as many parking spaces as needed so may need to search for a bit but we still always found one. Other than that no complaints. Our door to our room was funny and the shower made a noise at the start but these things are so minor. We will definitely be back.

We checked in and room had no shampoo, body wash and lacking in towels. A call to the front desk was necessary to get the items. This was not a big issue but the next day housekeeping came by picked up the 3 towels from the 3 of us and just left us with 2 towels. This was also consistent as they did same thing to the other room we had in the hotel. The room looked like an accessible room but not really to standard. I felt my room was 1/2 renovated with missing towel hooks in the bathroom. The draws in the dresser was lopsided and need caution when using them. No USB ports anywhere in the room. Think I will have to reconsider booking a Sheraton the future.
