I too, heard mostly ghastly stories of pain, embarrassment, etc., but I knew I needed to go for my health/well-being anyway. The PA was awesome: friendly and non-judgmental. (I mean, I kind of expected at least one wtf comment about me being 24 and never visiting the gyno...but nothing!) J-Staud came in to do my exam. She explained every step and made sure I was comfortable as she went along. I felt NOTHING. It was amazing. I almost thought something was wrong because my experience seemed to differ for most people's...but Dr. Staud is just that awesome. It was seriously the best case scenario I could have imagined for my first gyno visit. I'm now a responsible-type person and schedule my yearly visit, and I've never minded going back!

I've had scary old men and mean, judgmental old women....and then I found Rebecca. I. LOVE. REBECCA. And not just because she's seen the worst (in)side of me and still talks to me. Granted, Rebecca is just a PA and I've only actually seen my "real" gyno (Dr. Ramos) once. But I don't care, cause I'd so much rather see Rebecca. She is the sweetest person in the world, and makes you feel so comfortable even in the most awkward position. Plus, the staff is VERY sweet. When I didn't have insurance for the year I was self-employed, Jenny (an assistant?) kept me in contraceptives for free. Also, there's this very cute red-head (Kerrie?) that does the billing and is really, really nice. If you're looking, you've found your match. Go here!

When it was time to sign out and get his prescription, I asked the lady who was so ugly to the other employee what her name was, she said Rachel. The other 2 employees were sweet as could be, one was Catelyn and the other was Selena. This Rachel lady was horrible, not only did she treat these girls awful, she was talking about patients so load you could hear her clearly in the waiting room. She was also talking about one of the Doctors, I believe it was a foot doctor. Talking about how stupid and arrogant he was. This past week, I took my father in law back to this same office. This Rachel lady needs to be fired. She talks so much crap about patients after they leave the office, she treats these two young ladies horrible and talks crap about the Doctors. Those two girls need to file hostile work environment on Rachel. I plan on filing a complaint with the medical board for Rachel violating Hepa or at least have them investigate this office. She took one hour to do my physical, talking with me and listening and joking around a little bit. She called me in the evening to tell me that it's OK for me to continue on one of my medications despite her hesitancy. She consulted another physician that evening. Arrived at the address but the building had no outside signage for her office. Entered the building and there was no posting of which direction of where her office is. Finally found it! Nice, clean, bright office! Upon entering, Maggie was on a call and noticed no other patients waiting. When she got off the phone, I eventually approached the front office window. She quickly said "You were supposed to be here at 10:30am." I'm like what time is it now? She stated 10:47am. I asked why 10:30am and she said to complete paperwork. I then said questionably "in addition to me completing it within the patient portal?". Her response was of "I don't know why that's offered, it doesn't work." She gathered the documents and handed them to me but not before saying "quickly fill out....we might have to reschedule you." With a puzzled look on my face, I say you should ask Branden Blanton BEFORE I manually complete this paperwork. She does and returns to say HE CAN'T SEE YOU TODAY. My appointment was at 11am, WTH!!!! She says we're going to reschedule you. I agree and tell her only with Dr. McLeroy. She goes on about completing the paperwork, which begins to frustrate me. I told her to refund my payment made through the patient portal and left. I have never been turned away from any doctor appointments!!!! Would have ENJOYED being her newest patient because of a family referral and patient reviews! UPDATE: Before leaving her office, I told them to refund me. As of today, no refund. Called spoke with Daja asked for billing and before she hung upon me, she said they didn't have a billing department. I called back, Maggie answered and I asked where's my refund? She said they processed it same day and didn't have a conformation to send me. They're so rude, unprofessional and unconcerned! Nevertheless, I've called my bank to process a dispute!!
