Spacious, new, and nice. Lots of storage for your things, full length mirror and a vanity! Toiletries in the shower and bathroom. Everyone that works here is nice and seems to take pride in their jobs. The breakfast was pretty darn decent and I don't really partake in hotel breakfast, lol. They have flavored waffles you make yourself and oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, biscuits and gravy and egg and cheese omelet (premade). The omelets have lots of cheese, too much for me but kids would like them and I ate half. Biscuits were hot and not dry. I got full! The coffee is great, had 3 cups. If you're a Hilton Honors member you get 2 free waters a day to take to your room. They sell snacks and waters for $2 each in their "Treats" area. The only mild complaint is the AC is a bit noisy, but cooled my room nice and cold and beds are comfortable. Best hotel stay I've had in a while. I'll be back. The ladies after breakfast cleaned well and were friendly, even gave me a pen she could tell I needed. Front desk guy is super nice.

Opened up the door finally and stepped in and almost fell out because of all the cigarette smoke smell it was horrible. Walked on in and the floor was dirty and all stained up looked terrible. Was super hot so started turning on lights, one lamp was flashing so looked closer and the shade on it was broken and laying on the bulb where you could see where the shade was burning from being on the bulb. Looked at the bed, 3 half size pillows, the pic showed 5 large ones for a king size but was just me so was ok, also only a sheet and no bedspread. So tired so laid down and looked at the ceiling and seen the fire alarm wasn't there, it looked like it had been ripped down so just wires. Didn't use my CPAP cause didn't want to be forced that smoky air. Bed was so hard so didn't get but a few hours of sleep. Woke up early, while standing at the sink brushing my teeth I touched the sink and thought the whole thing was gonna fall on me, that would of been bad. Was going to make coffee but it didn't work either. Have stayed before over the years but they have let it just completely run down. They need to close it and fix it up or shut it down. Don't stay here, I will not be back there. I will pay a few more dollars and stay at one of the others.

There wasn't a lot of accurate signage or available/informative service, so here are the helpful things I wish I knew: 1. When booking on their website, the email that says "reservation confirmation pending" and directs you to call or email to "finalize confirmation" is not necessary - we tried both without answer before showing up to find we were in their system. They told us they consider it fully confirmed as soon as you pay online. 2. The front desk counter and the ice cream shop share staff, so if you walk into the check-in desk and no one shows up to take care of you, walk back to where the chairs and tables are to ask for help or try to call the number. 3. The information packets in the room showing the pool is 24 hours are inaccurate. We learned the hard way on our first night and asked the next day what the actual hours are - they said "around 8am to around 10:30 unless later is requested." One of our guests was booted around 9:50 and our request for group entry at 10pm was denied. 4. They unlock the main door at 7am for breakfast. This consists of cereal, granola bars, yogurt, and mini microwave sausage sandwiches. 5. The cafe on site does not offer hot food until 3pm and can get quickly overwhelmed with multiple cold sandwich orders, so it might be better to plan for food off site. 6. Checking out in person is not required. We had to leave early our last morning for a funeral and the desk was unmanned at 8am, but we were able to get someone to answer the phone before 11am to verify we were "checked out". Overall it seemed like a nice place, but many of the amenities seem to be aimed at/offered to the peak season vacation crowd, and only during pretty ambiguous hours. We found out too late that the large hotel down the road may have been a better fit for our crew who was in town for a family funeral - they also offer a bereavement discount that this place does not.
