This is by far the best hotel we've ever stayed in while traveling. I was so grateful for how reassuring the reviews were. Usually, when you're on the road and don't have reservations, you end up stopping and staying in hotels that are less than ideal. This Comfort Inn was thankfully nothing like that! We were surprised to find a full parking lot and lucky to get a room. Our biggest need was a hotel that was pet friendly, but not too noisy where our girl would bark throughout the night. I have no idea how a full hotel can be so quiet, but our dog didn't bark once. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast exceeded expectations for a hotel like this. We came down for breakfast around an hour before it ended and there was still a lot of food. The spread included cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. They even have a specialty coffee maker where you can get a latte or cappuccino among other things. It was so good! If we ever find ourselves on the road in this area again, this hotel would be our first choice for a stop! read more

Check in was easy, desk person was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a sheet of restaurant recommendations. The hotel is very clean. Our room was amazing, clean, well decorated and very comfortable! Even the towels were soft! The breakfast was nice. Typical scrambled eggs and sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, waffles, pastries, variety of coffee, juice and ice water with lemons. All really good. Excellent staff-very attentive and helpful. Our room was clean but we had very noisy neighbors. I could hear every door opening and closing plus every conversation. We were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast on Monday was very hectic but the staff did their best to keep up. The rest of the week was less crowded but they were out of a lot of food. Great location. The checking in process was fairly quick, once the hotel employee finished her personal call. This seems to be a problem I 'm experiencing with the Comfort Inn & Suites. The room was huge much larger than most of the rooms we have stayed in during our road trip to Michigan and back to CA. They serve a hot breakfast each morning between 6-10 am and offer fresh popped popcorn and cookies in the evening. Nice touch. Some of the guest services include: coin operated laundry, high speed internet, newspaper, safe deposit boxes, swimming pool, hot tub, vending machines and more. The high speed internet was a joke. We couldn't use our phones to call out, Yelp, email, and text, surf the web or anything. Unless, you went into the hallway or lobby of the hotel. This was a total inconvenience. So, at checkout I politely explained my frustration with the lack of internet in my room and the front desk person made an adjustment to our bill. Thank you so much. Checked into this hotel last night and had to move rooms because there was a dog barking right across from my room. They moved me to the other side of the hotel. I then got woken up at 6am from another dog (this one was far worse then the previous dog). I then was force to wake up at 6am. Took a shower and found out that the shower head was broken. Maintenance came up and told me that there is nothing they can do it fix it. At check out they told me they were happy to offer me $25 off my stay for the bad experience. 2 stars for trying. read more

The room suite is very nice, the service was friendly and professional, and you can tell this place is brand spanking new, but for $99+/night, I shouldn't be able to hear the elevator ding or the tv/yelling/dresser drawers being slammed from the room next door and I should be able to close my curtains all the way. I'd expect thin walls from an EconoLodge or Super8 maybe even a Hampton, but a brand new, all suite, Choice hotel? I'm thinking they skimped on the insulation and extra curtain material to put the freestanding waterfall in the lobby...definite oversight in priorities. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again. I love Comfort Suites, they are usually affordable luxury, and am a frequent Choice Hotels guest, but I'll save a few $$ and stay somewhere next time where paper thin walls and having to wear earplugs to sleep doesn't cost $112 w/tax. read more

I stayed in this Comfort Suites on 4/23/24. It was one of the hotels I booked for my cross country road trip. I had the best hotel experience among all hotels I stayed for this trip. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in the lobby. The facility was clean and well kept. As it is a suite, it is quite a large room. Internet was free. The bedding was comfortable. I had a good night sleep. The location is convenient, just off I-40. The free hot breakfast was well prepared and had enough varieties. Also, this hotel does not automatically charge me an incidental expense fee. The most impressive thing is that the hotel receipt was slipped under my door before I got up in the morning. This reminds me the big hotels in major cities I stayed when I was on business trips. If you are traveling through I-40. This hotel is a viable option. read more

I've stayed in this Comfort Suites several times now. The location is easy to find right off I-40. The check-in process always goes smoothly. The one time I wasn't happy with a cleaning odor in the room I was moved immediately without question. The clerks are always professional, friendly and the first to help make your stay issue free. The rooms have a fridge and microwave in each room. This is one of the highlights for me as I have medication that requires refrigeration. The microwave comes in handy for popcorn or heating left overs from dinner. The beds are always comfortable and I sleep well. The crazy little pillows are annoying but not something I can't live with. The breakfast bar has a nice assortment of hot and cold items. There's always hot eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal and make your own waffles. Cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt and hard boiled eggs cover most of the cold items. Don't believe the reviews. My hotel room was nasty. You would think this wouldn't be an issue because Covid has amplified cleaning standards. Basically, only the bed was made. The blanket had crusted brown matter on it. I'm pretty sure it was dried blood. There were hand prints and large smears of grease all over the headboard. What looked like pizza sauce on the table, probably soda dropped down the closet and kids size hand prints on the leather ottomans. I went to the front desk and she gave me cleaner to sanitize my room. At least they had cleaner and gloves on hand although, the chemical wasn't labeled so who knows what it was. The woman at the front desk was kind and said she'd write it down. Hopefully it was resolved with staff. read more

The night before last, 6/17/22, I was traveling to Tx to pick up a puppy and needed to make reservations for my return trip to Indiana. I tried to make a reservation online with Comfort Suites in Forrest City AR and ran into issues when signing up for Choice Hotel rewards. That forced me to make a call to the company in order to get reservations for 6/19/22. During the ensuing confusion, a room was booked for 6/18/22. When I discovered the lack of a room reservation for 6/19, I called Choice and spent over 2 hours being shuffled from person to person where I learned 1) IF you do not show up for a reservation with any of their hotels, their staff has been instructed to mark you "checked in" and then "checked out" the following day. 2) Due to the fact that I was shown "checked out", it was assumed that I had been at the hotel. 3) When I talked to the hotel, they informed me that this was how they were trained and that was policy. Because I had no proof I was NOT there and because there was no record of my calls to them to fix the online issue when I booked the room; I am currently out $200 for the room and there will be no refund considered. The hotel chain is cheap and their employees are poorly trained. They wasted hours of my time and my money. I am cancelling my rewards program with them and will never stay in another Choice hotel. read more

Very nice building/suites. Super friendly staff. My suite was huge! Good actual high-speed internet. Had no issue with hearing my neighbors at all. Room cost $110. My only complaint, the bedroom shades don't close all the way, only the thin mosquito like curtain closes. Great place to stay! Just stopping by for a night on our way home and we were glad we chose here. Tucked away from I40 which is nice and kind of quiet. Rooms were nice and clean, beds were great, and the service at the desk was wonderful. We came in in the evening and the young woman at the desk was awesome, Kristi I think her name was, I only got one glimpse of her name badge. She was doing it all and did it with a smile. Very clean rooms. Large suites. Staff friendly and welcoming unlike the Hampton Inn next door that we accidentally walked into. The hostess there was not welcoming or friendly. The breakfast area is very clean here and the food fresh. Lots of choices too. The free cookies at the entrance and popcorn machine are a great welcome. We had a doggy room for our little dog and she too was very comfy. Only gave four stars as we were disappointed to see old stains on the bed sheets. If bleach can't take something out, get rid of it. We were here for one night only so we just put a towel over it but unsightly. Otherwise we will stay here again. read more

My family and I stayed here recently on a Friday night. I booked my room through hotels.com and check-in was easy. It comes with free WiFi, complimentary breakfast(which I didn't eat), and free parking. I believe there was an indoor pool as well. Connecting to the WiFi was an issue when we first arrived but was fine later. The rooms are SPACIOUS! Real deal. My family of 4(two children), slept in a double queen suite. There's an entire sitting area with a queen sofa bed, a small ottoman, and a bench to sit on. There's a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. No vanity bar area outside the bathroom(if that makes sense). We only stayed for one night and would stay again. It must've been spring break or something because the hotel sold out that weekend. We tried to get another night but they were booked. Con: parking, especially if you're coming in late night. read more

Courteous and helpful, even with a dinner suggestion and he was on the money with that too! There was a young ladies basketball team coming in, so he put us on the third floor so we wouldn't be bothered by too much noise. Talk about amazing customer service. A week ago, I had a medical emergency. After treatment was complete, I couldn't travel. I stayed at this hotel. The service I received was beyond excellent. The Bumgarners and their staff went out of the way on my behalf. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and despite the current coronavirus problems, the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in this hotel last night. Jan. 1, 2020. We have stayed here before. We love that there is always gracious people at the front desk and in the breakfast room. They are always pleasant and helpful! That is one reason we always return here when traveling from Illinois to Texas. They also have cookies and popcorn in the evening. I love this hotel! Extremely Clean, Super Friendly and accommodating. My fiancé and I stayed here for eight months plus while on business. We stayed in at least four different rooms during this time- all which had great beds that slept well with wonderful plush bedding. I used the pool area frequently, and it was always kept up to par. The laundry room was efficient and tidy. Having "lived" here, I was able to get to know the staff very well. Cindy, the hotel manager, is marvelous. She is very friendly, but also very business-minded, making sure your stay was an enjoyable one and you could tell she liked her hotel Clean! The girls at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. They also kept us in complimentary fresh baked cookies and popcorn in the lobby, where it always smelled fantastic walking in. The maid staff are all dolls. They work hard and are super sweet. I can honestly say that I miss my talks with Miss Regina in housekeeping and Ashley and the other ladies at the front desk. Mr. Eddie, the maintenance man, even knew us by name. I guess I write all of this to say, we have stayed in several hotels in the four or so months since then- none of which could compare to this hotel. I was prompted to write this review this morning when my hotel that I'm staying in in Sacramento gave me grief because my key card stopped working... Stopped here on our way from Nashville to Dallas. Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. The front desk staff was spectacular, and a nice man even ran out to the parking lot before we drove away to give us a baby blanket we had left in room! The waffles were delicious, and the baby cribs are actually decent here. Overall, VERY happy with our experience here after a rough day traveling with young children. Just a place to rest. Bring bug repellant, pillows and wash cloths. You need 22 of their standard pillows to make one standard pillow. Staff was nice and friendly. Loud refrigerator, but a fridge none the less. For $70 bucks what do you expect.. Maybe clean wash cloths. read more

After a stay at a less than satisfactory Comfort Inn in MO, my husband and I were relieved to discover that this location was awesome. The most important thing to me is that the room be clean, and this one was white glove clean. We stayed here 04/06/2014 with a group of teens and parked our horse trailer with 7 horses in the parking lot. The staff was very helpful letting us get out the horses & exercise & water them. The hotel & staff were very nice, & the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We did not hear any of the noise problems Leila R had in her review, although she's right - the heavy room darkening curtains don't close all the way, only the light ones do. There is a fair amount of outside light coming in at night, but then I didn't need a light to get to the bathroom. Breakfast was really good, hot, plentiful & included bacon & omelets. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone. The Pizza Hut we ordered for delivery is a different story; don't try it. read more
