It's an inexpensive motel in a small town conveniently located just off I-40, so it is what it is. I think three stars is adequate. The rooms are clean and relatively updated, and you'll get a free but limited breakfast. The air conditioner struggles to keep up with the Arkansas humidity. And the shower only has a sprayer, not a shower head, which is positioned so low only a child could use it. But by Quality Inn standards, it's not a bad place to stop for the night and save a little money. It's also within walking distance to two gas stations. read more

I have to say this place takes the cake on QUALITY. Ive attached a few pics. Upon entering the overwhelming smell of bleach was so bad I had to leave the door open. Damaged dresser, damaged chairs, damaged fridge, rust everywhere. If I could leave zero stars I would, no amount of money is worth this. I could have stayed outside and it would have better. This is the WORST inn I ever been to, please for your own sake do not come to this inn. Their towels were dirty and stain, they looked as if they weren't even washed, both of the lamps have lots of rust on them, the Tv had a black line through it, oh and there is this window that has a pretty deep chip ( honestly looked liked a gunshot hole) in it and the bathroom and floors were really dirty. Even when looking at the other reviews of this place after arriving , I noticed that's there was one review that was stayed in the same room as me with the chip in the window FOUR YEARS AGO PRIOR TO MY REVIEW , that shows they didn't even try to address the issue. We actually reserved a room here by mistake, thinking it was another hotel. By the time we arrived and figured it out, we were too tired to find another hotel. The outside appears a little sketchy, but the front desk person was very nice and accommodating. We had an accessible room that was amazing. This was definitely a case of things looking better on the inside than they appear on the outside. The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable. The walk-in shower was the best feature! It was even better than the one that I had at home and the water was hot. It is a motel with outside doors that I normally avoid. Here, I was able to park directly in front of my room and did feel safe. The parking lot was very well lit and quiet. The breakfast was typical of a hotel continental breakfast such as eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pastries, make your own waffles, and ceresl. The coffee,tho, was exceptional. 0 would be better since I couldn't find the entrance due to the front entrance was blocked/missing , plywood, a bunch of tiles or something piled up in front, I guess for remodeling .??? I tried calling twice and the front desk never picked up, I guess you had to check in at the Red Roof Inn next door?? I never found out as it was dark when I arrived and I was alone walking around the building trying to find a way in all I saw was Semi's in the parking lot so after trying to call twice with no answer I left and checked in to a hotel where there was actually an obvious entrance. Not what I wanted after a long day on the road. Will never stay with this chain again. And Booking.com stated I would be charged full price regardless even though I never got a room key. Day shift Hotel staff was very nice. However for $150 per night it's a bit high for a 1 star place. The room was dirty , bathroom terrible, TV broken, save your$ go somewhere else. They didn't tell us until after we had paid the non refundable check in that there was no elevator and we had to go to our room upstairs. Hard for physical handicap person. Terrible in-person customer service. We booked and paid for one night on American Express. THEIR website sent us a confirmation for $125 (including) pet deposit. When we arrived they were going to charge us over $180. I had confirmation in hand of what I had booked. They would not honor it. The front desk lady was ok but had no control of her manager not honoring THEIR OWN WEBSITE. I wish I'd checked out other Yelp reviews before I'd booked it. If I could give this place a Zero stars I would, but I guess I will have to settle for 1 Star. This is the worst Quality Inn in Forrest City, Arkansas that we have stayed in while traveling cross country, they charged me $130.00 for a 1 night stay. It says under New Management, I would say they need to close it down and make major renovations. Don't let the exterior fool you like it did us. There is no pool or jacuzzi they took out the pool and made a basketball court & laundry room that doesn't even have laundry detergents you can purchase to do your laundry. Also, the first room 114 they assigned us, the door was dragging & the phone did not work at all. The door needed to be replaced. They recommended The Old Sawmill, said the food was great, they lied. Don't waste you time or money eating there. Their breakfast was just sad there was sausage and gravy but no eggs. We just checked out and went across the street to the Waffle House for a really good breakfast. So, if you for a good hotel to stay kept on driving past this one, it's not worth the money we paid to stay there. read more

Quality of the outside is not at all what you will find inside! Our non smoking room reeked of cigarettes due to the permanent resident who lived next door. Room was dirty, holes in the walls, boarded up behind the toilet, bathroom door broken, spiders, just gross. I noticed the front desk lady who wasn't the least bit surprised by my photos. She gave me an email to contact management but assured me I wouldn't not hear back which is exactly what happened. Biggest waste if $160 I have stayed at far better for 1/3 of the price. We chose this place because it was a highest rated of all the 2 star hotels in the town. On the good side, the receptionist was friendly and polite. Breakfast was typically, with scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes etc. On the bad side, when I woke up in the morning, I had 6 very itchy bites on my back: bed bug bites. Managment was apologetic. Of course even a Ritz could have a person who had bed bugs sleep in their bed and pass it on to the next guest. I guess the issue is by selecting a less expensive motel, I increased the probability that the last guest who slept in the bed had bed bugs. The general décor was substandard. The caulking in bathroom had large cracks. There is a dead mosquito embedded in the paint in the bathroom. The bathroom door handle was coated with spattered paint. While smoking was prohibited in the rooms, the balcony and stairs reeked of smoke. All in all I wish I had paid $30 more for a more upscale chain (itch, itch). They should up their cleaning and maintenance efforts. read more

This place is a total dump. The first room they gave us had a disfunctional locking mechanism on the door so we had to switch. The second room they gave us was FILTHY. I have stayed in some subpar hotels, but I have NEVER stayed in a room with public hair all over the bathroom floor before. My mother and I were exhausted from our 12 hr drive and just crashed, but we made sure to strip the beds first and we'd fortunately brought our own pillows. We couldn't park in the hotel parking lot because they were repainting so we had to park next to the line of semis at the truck stop. Not the safest situation for two women. I will say the staff were very friendly. The front desk clerk who checked us in was wonderful (I wish I'd gotten her name but I was braindead at that point). Unless you're so tired that driving is no longer safe, skip this place. read more

We nearly made a reservation somewhere else and then saw the ratings. We were happy to find a place to stay where we could peacefully rest. Comfy bed, soft sheets, big parking lot, fridge/freezer/microwave, exterior door, C store next door, lamps w/plugs & USB, McD across side street, big breakfast spread, and friendly smiling staff. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were super fluffy. Room was large, clean and kept cool. Front desk staff was very friendly, even in the middle of the night when we arrived. We're on a road trip and late last evening we were looking for a budget friendly hotel to crash for the night. Stopped by the Quality Inn and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was for the price. Our room was super clean and had a nice tile floor (carpet in budget hotels is always gross, no carpet here). Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was included. Overall a great deal! read more

This hotel is located at what feels like the end of an alley. But it is worth winding your way past the Red Roof Inn to get to it. Especially if you are pulling any kind of trailer or camper. There is definitely room to park them and the rooms are exterior, which we appreciated so that we could keep an eye on our rig better. When we opened the door the room smelled really clean and the air was so cool, even on the 100 degree day. This is an older hotel, so the tub/toilet is in its own little room, but there is an extensive vanity, blow dryer, a place for hanging clothes, ironing board /iron, desk and an armchair. Our room also included a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and had decent pillows. Upstairs tenant was slightly heat footed throughout the night. Good breakfast. read more

The front desk was very accommodating and super friendly. When our group walked into the room, it smelled sooo nice and fresh. The beds were like clouds. We walk into our first room and it smells like chemicals and cleaners, my boyfriend and I developed headaches after 5 minutes of being in the room. The toilette seat was up as if someone had used it already and there was a dirty sock on the floor of the room. We returned to the desk and asked for a different room because of the chemical smell, we were told there was no other room with the rate we paid and we would have to pay 25 more for a single bed. We said we didn't want to pay more, the only high light would be the desk clerk that was kind enough to switch the room for our comfort and not charge us the extra 25. Not much better in the second room, still a chemical odor but not as strong. Stained towels, stained shower, and the sink sprays water all over onto the counter. They offer restuarant discounts and coupons but the coupons are all expired by 4 months. I've stayed in better for less. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles to Memphis, skip this hotel read more

This was a very nice place to stop and sleep for a night! It was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfy. We had there breakfast and it was one of the nicer hotel breakfasts we've had in a while! All hot and fresh food with a very friendly staff to ask if we needed anything. Be very careful in booking your room as this particular Choice Hotel as they will transfer you to a predatory reservation line that will charge you in excess of 40% of the room charge. If they put you on hold or transfer your call, hang up and stay somewhere else. If you check the price at the desk or receive a receipt, it will not include the up charge; it appears on your bank statement. After the fact, they will not attempt to resolve.
