Staff was amazingly nice. The room was clean and very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was great.

We stayed here recently and it was ok. We booked an ADA accessible room through Expedia because that was the only option for a king bed suite with sofa bed on their website. Around noon on check-in day they called and asked if I needed a "handicapped room". I told them no and they said they had non-ADA king suites available. I called back an hour later to see when the room would be ready and they said 2-2:30. We arrived at 2:20 and the lady at the front desk said the room wouldn't be ready for another 45 min to an hour. Another couple was sitting in the lobby waiting for their room to be ready as well. We came back at 3pm and another employee was working the front desk. Thankfully our room was ready. That same couple was still waiting on their room. Obviously, they were not thrilled their room wasn't ready at the scheduled check in time (3 pm). I'm not sure if the original room we had would have been ready earlier or not. Our room was on the third floor behind the elevator. Surprisingly, the room was quiet when the fan was on so we didn't hear the elevator much at all. The room was spacious and clean. We had an issue with our room key working on the room door and the pool. But, once we got it re-keyed at the front desk it worked the rest of the time. Apparently, holding the room keys close to your phone deactivates the keys. Maybe in the future they'll switch to the blue tooth keyless entry like other major hotels. The indoor pool was nice. The hot tub was even better. The breakfast options were decent each day. We would consider staying here again when in the area. read more

Clean rooms with comfortable bed. Rooms have microwave and mini fridge as well as iron and ironing board. Parking is plentiful and staff is friendly. The breakfast included sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, and a variety of drinks. Weekday breakfasts are from 6-9 and a bit later on weekends. read more

Your typical Comfort Suites. We've stayed here many times but I guess I've never reviewed it. Good beds and good a/c. WiFi is acceptable. What happened this trip is what earns them 4 stars. We came to see William Lee Martin, the cowboy comedian, at the Granbury Live Theater. He was SO funny! Anyway, our friends got COVID scared and backed out, so I cancelled their room. In reality, I cancelled our room. The staff at the front desk moved us twice to get what we wanted. Thank you so much! Very seldom do you get that kind of service. We're in the room relaxing as I write this. Only thing left, is breakfast. Will they shine, or play the muffin game? We'll find out in the morning! Update. It's now the next morning, and they are serving a full breakfast. I haven't found ANY other hotels that are doing that. They are reminding customers to stay "safe". *DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL* We stayed at this comfort suites this past weekend for the Glenrose dog show. Overall the stay was enjoyable and breakfast was great. Hotel staff was nice. The day after we checked out, we were charged a $250 fee for pet damage for damage to the carpet that was already there when we arrived. Our dogs were kenneled at all times in our room on the tile and never had access to the carpet. We have been trying to contact them for 2 days and have only received the run around, have not spoken to anyone that can help us get our money back. We have filed a dispute with corporate and our bank. Even if we get our money back I would not recommend staying here unless you enjoy being scammed and wasting your time trying to get a refund. read more

Horrible experience and stay. Not only did they charge me 3 times for a one night stay, they wouldn't refund me. Luckily one dropped but 2 payments still were taken. When I called to speak to Ashley the manager she was rude and refused to refund us saying it was Hotel.coms fault although we paid at the hotel and not through the website. She kept saying we had two bookings, it's been over a week and we are still dealing with this crap each blaming the other. The hotel was not even nice, it needs to be up graded and a bit cleaner. On Yelp it states you get a free gift for staying, but when you go to claim it they had no idea what it was. Overall I regret this stay the experience has been a stressful one with the staff having a horrible attitude must be their small town mentality. I will never ever visit a comfort suites let alone Grandbury as a city. read more

First I would like to say this 1 star review has nothing to do with how clean or nice the hotel is. This review is specifically targeted towards the older receptionist (I didn't catch her name) and the general manager. My friends and I stayed yesterday and when we got there the receptionist said because we put two people were staying at the hotel but we had 4 people she was going to charge us $40 extra. Us trying to catch a break in a playful way, asked if there was someway we could get out of paying but she was not in a good mood. She said "no" with a serious straight face. Then we asked about a late check out and and she said "no we are fully booked" with a straight face and didn't even look at us. The other receptionist was very professional, apologetic, and actually made eye contact with us when she spoke to us. It's kind of hard to paint the picture but she was just rude. Then we filled out a survey online about our experience with her and if you look at the pictures attached you'll see how the general manager replied. I'm all for backing up your employees but as a general manager you have to be professional and this lady is not. I do not recommend staying here! read more

(2) rooms are clean!/freshly renovated (3) when I stayed there the first time, it seemed like the water was cold... the owners went above and beyond (even sent a plumber/handy man to check within minutes!) When we arrived to check in, an elderly gentleman was sitting at the front desk texting. My wife and I approached while he just sat there typing away on his phone. I am more patient dealing with workers in the service industry these days because I know that the general public is harder to deal with. Comfort Suites needs a little work. My first night we got in a little late and first our Tv didn't work that was an easy fix but then hours later volume on tv just stopped working. I called to front desk and was told I would have to wait till it was later in the morning which was okay even though I couldn't sleep due to a horrible smell coming from the Air Conditioner it made me feel so sick that I just had to shut it off. Shower had no pressure because all water was still coming out of faucet and not the shower head. But it was a working shower and at least I got to shower could of been worse. It can get a little loud in the morning and walls are very thin. Breakfast wasn't anything special. Orange juice and apple juice seem like they are watered down . Husband said waffle was just alright . Besides all these things wrong with my room the staff has been Amazing ! Trying to fix the shower( it works a little better then before )they did fix the tv and that smell is gone . They did refund me 10% which isn't anything but at least it is something I'm giving 3 stars for the very kind and helpful ladies who work the desk . read more

OMG! If I could give this a negative rating I would. I was actually making a joke before we went to this hotel that we were going to "get to stay in a 1-star hotel" Well...we actually did not get to stay there because they LOST our reservation during one of the busiest weekends in Granbury (wine walk) and they were completely sold out. The front desk called the owner and said he'd help us call around town but thankfully the hotel directly across the street (which is Yelp rated almost 5 stars) had ONE room available and saved our weekend! In the future I will go back to the hotel directly across the street but will make ZERO effort to stay at this place. Now I know it's a 1-2 star for a reason! read more

Not impressed with this hotel! The bathroom curtain had mold on it, the pillows were lumpy and not comfortable at all! There was a bug under the covers! I have to say the rate was decent and the room was clean other than the above mentioned items. I've stayed at other Comfort Suites and they definitely were much better, this is apparently an older hotel and the bedding needs to be updated along with the huge boxed televisions! I'm only giving 3 stars because I can't give 2.5. read more

On first appearance the hotel seems very nice, for the most part the room seemed clean, it had a few damaged light fixtures that could stand to be replaced but no big deal really. Then the first night the A/C was hardly working, went to the front desk to tell them & asked for a fan "which they didn't have", the lady said to be patient and it'll cool down. By night three the A/C still wasn't working good & at 1:30 we woke up to the smell of smoke that was coming from the A/C unit. I went to the front desk and the offered us a fan, "they magically found one" eventually he gave us a room next door because the smell was so bad, but told us we didn't have to move everything because we had 2 children that were woken up. The next morning we got a phone call from the supposed managed Sandy Bolwin (I have a hard time believing she's a manager as poor as she was at customer service) she called and demanded to know why we were in two separate rooms, I told her the situation from early that morning & she basically called me a lair and said they don't give people two room they only switch rooms. She was not understand & very rude, and never even offered us an apology. Long story to say I will never stay there again, the rooms are nice, breakfast is mediocre, the cleaning ladies were held less than friendly, everyone at the front desk was nice except Sandy Bolwin "supposed manager that had her boy friend up front basically every time we went by the front counter". #comfortsuites read more

It was just OK. We didnt inspect the room as soon as we got there because we had been driving for a while with 3 kids who were hungry so we decided to walk about half a mile away to Cotton Patch Cafe for dinner. As we left the room we noticed the door didnt close so we examined it closer and one of the screws on the latch plate was loose/stripped and wouldnt stay in the door frame so any time we left we had double check to make sure the door closed. As soon as we returned we went swimming, the pool area was decent, perfect temperature as well as the hot tub, everything worked as it should. After swimming it was time to get the kids bathed and in bed for our continued trip the next day, thats when I noticed there wasnt a drain plug/stopper in the bath tub, again we have 3 kids who needed baths. I attempted to contact the front desk using BOTH phones that were in our room and neither of them worked so I had to rediaper my 19 month old and carry her back downstairs with me. I was told they didnt have any plugs for the bath tub and was handed a wash cloth and told to "stick it down in the drain". Whatever...it worked. Knowing there were adults and children booked for our room you would think they would have either put sheets on the pull out sleeper or had them available in our room for us, nope, my husband had to go downstairs twice to get bedding because he was only given a flat sheet and blanket the first trip down. The blow dryer kept falling off the hook, the A/C didnt cool the room very well, and the fridge ticked all night long! The continental breakfast was less than appealing, they had cereal, bags of instant oatmeal, bagels, toast, sausage, wrapped up sausage egg biscuits, waffles, nasty scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, and water. The hotel could use some improvement, crackes in the walls and rooms lacking in many areas. Lastly, our trip was prepaid through a 3rd party website like we have done many times before without problem, after leaving (Saturday) I noticed Comfort Suites had charged my card nearly $60, called to find out what was going on but the people on duty couldnt answer any questions. The next day (Sunday) there was a second charge for the same amount along with 1 return. Finally, on Monday I was able to speak with the manager (Sandy) and she was able to tell me what had happened and the second charge fell off this morning (Tuesday). I had read many reviews about Sandy, saying she was hard to deal with and unprofessional but my experience with her was great, she was very kind, informative, and concerned about making things right. Overall, I probably wouldnt stay here again because of the problems we had, the issues with the room, and the lack of concern from the staff other than the manager. The hotel is in a decent location, right across from and Aldi, and half a mile from El Chico, Cotton Patch, Sonic, and CVS. It was nice to be able to walk to and from dinner after being in the truck for several hours. read more

Never again. Every time we walked into the front, the attendant had friends hanging around and did not seem interested in guests at all. We got to our room and it stunk. Our couches were stained and dirty, It didn't seem very clean. We spent the day at the lake and came back to a room that seemed as if only the bed was made. Nothing looked clean. We had no towels, no soap still and no trash had been picked up. It's a place to sleep. Don't expect much cleanliness wise. read more

The front desk male clerk made me extremely uncomfortable because he was noticeably staring at my chest during check in. Then that evening, we watched him from the 2nd floor foyer switch his computer from on premises cameras, to inappropriate/dirty photos. Made me feel VERY uncomfortable all weekend long. I been staying at this hotel since May, doing a remodel for the WalMart there. On August 1st someone got into my room and stole 400+ worth of property from me. I had told the front desk and the GM. NO ONE KNEW HOW TO WORK THE CAMERAS THERE! Then they tell me we will send out a tech to come check the cameras, he never showed up! Now two days has passed no one has reached out to me. My company has spend over 6k for me to stay in this hotel. This is beyond Unprofessional, and I'm so stunned because i expected more, it shows me that you guys don't care about the people that come stay in your organization, or maybe if I was a different skin tone, you would of moved faster. The police has followed up with me, before you guys did! I called the corporate office explaining the situation in mid conversation the lady hangs up on me! I feel violated, and I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER COMFORT SUITE AGAIN! You claim your GM is knew nobody taught her how to access the cameras, well maybe you need to find someone that is equipped for the job! This is beyond unprofessional and I guess it's okay for people to steal at your organization, and no one does anything about it! They have all my information, so they can't say, oh we didn't know how to touch bases with her. I'm beyond disappointed! read more
