We coming every 6 weeks to stay 3 days. Great hotel,clean,great people at the front desk and very pleasant room. We have just one comment,it's about the satellite tv channels options,they have the basic package,lots of shopping channels and few news and other normal channels. Hear other guests at the lobby with the same opinion. Don't hurt if the hotel management address this little issue and choose more diverse channels options. Another $100 + hotel and the room is noticeably NOT clean! That's all I have to say tonight. What a let down the hotel industry has become. I give it 2 starts ONLY bc the concierge is nice and feels bad for us because we just checked about 5 available rooms and none of them are clean even though her computer says otherwise. Btw, our room is the cleanest of any available and that's after I went through with wet wipes... but it is almost midnight and I can't deal... & let me continue, this am we woke up to a pathetic variety of food for breakfast. However once again, the young lady working the breakfast bar was the best part of our stay! She was nice, inviting and accommodating-Comfort S should take notice bc is sure seems hard to find good employees. & HELLO, turn of the news in the lobby!! To give a mid level hotel 5 stars, something went right! When she checked us in, I missed her name. This sweetheart of a woman is everything you want in a desk person. All I could find out was K Warre off the receipt. Well K Warre, thank you so much for your wonderful service. No one has ever treated me as good as you. (Management, are you listening?) Third floor, so no stomping kids above me. Soft bed and pillows. Quietest A/C EVER! That is so important. Now that COVID is getting a little better, some hotels are bringing their services back, and some aren't. You'll see what I mean in my next review. Some of my friends won't touch the free breakfast. Mike says the eggs are fake. So! He cracks me up. It's just fine with me! This place had 3 different sandwiches, 3 danish, 3 muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, and fruit. Basically, everything but the waffles. This hotel has totally stepped up to get things back to normal. Thanks guys! I made sure to tell them thank you and we headed for the next destination. I was reluctant to stay at a Choice hotel property because I've stayed at others that were dumps - like Joplin Missouri. This location, however, is great! It's clean, recently updated, nice staff and overall is a nice very moderately priced hotel. We stayed for a personal trip but as a business traveler I'd stay at the property without issue. These owners take pride in this property and it shows. The rest of the chain should learn from these owners. Well done! read more

Yuck! The first room they assigned 304, wreaked of mildew. I looked in the bathroom and sure enough the grout was a freaking petrie dish for mold and mildew. They moved us down the hall to another room and it didn't smell like mildew, but the toilet had dirt steaks running down the inside of the bowl. I found hair from a previous guest in the bath tub. The decor is not shabby, but the cleanliness is just nowhere near a hotel level. Let's just call this an updated motel and call it a day. Suites they are not. read more

I only needed to stay one night, but my experience was very positive. I didn't have a reservation, but I feel I got a good rate. The girl at the front was very kind and didn't gripe that I wasn't wearing a stupid mask. The room was pretty nice for the price, I opted for a King Size bed with the jacuzzi tub. The room could have been cleaner, I found a clump of hair in the restroom that obviously wasn't mine. One thing I have to mention is the water pressure is off the charts! It was so strong that it knocked any future dirt off me! I'll be staying here again for sure, once my skin grows back. read more

Really impressed with this hotel. The first thing you notice walking in is how clean everything is. Complimentary cookies and lemon water wait for you in the lobby. Desk manager was very nice and helpful. Room was immaculate and smelled great. Big room, sofa area. Lots of light (no gloomy rooms here). Pool is very nice, clean and refreshing. It is open until 10pm. I was here on a Friday. Hotel was nice and quiet, no noisy neighbors. Hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants. And dozens more are within a 5 min drive. Walmart is right across the street. Perfect location. read more

We stayed here for one night. I don't believe we've ever stayed at a Comfort Suites before. This one is very nice! The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the double queen room. Everything was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I really don't have anything negative to say other than I wish the air would have cut on more. I would definitely stay here again. The location is convenient as well. We ate at Chili's for dinner which you can see it right outside the hotel just down the road. Walmart is right there too. We didn't grab any breakfast before we left so I'm not sure how it is. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were staying here for a horse show for four nights. The first night was fine, no problem. The second night we wake up to someone trying to break in our room, twice. Finally, we got up to see what the heck was going on and scared the guy off that was trying to get in. So as it was three girls all together in the room, we were pretty freaked out. We called the front desk to let them know what happened and we got a simple "ok , we'll handle it" and then the man abruptly hung up. After a little while, we didn't hear anything so we called back down to the front to see if they figured it out. They just said "he wasn't trying to break in your room" and hung up. That made us all rather mad because they didn't even care that our safety was at risk and gave no call back, reassuring us that the situation had been handled. He apparently thought it was his room. All in all, worst hotel experience ever. We couldn't sleep the rest of the night because we were on edge. read more

This hotel is in a great location, near the main highway and within walking distance of local restaurants and walgreens for personal items. Continental breakfast served every morning including, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, cold cereals, fruit, bagels and muffins. Room decor is great. Updated and contemporary. Sounds great, right??? WRONG!!! DO NOT STAY HERE, THEY ARE THIEVES AND PREDATORS!!! November 2016, was in Tyler for a spiritual retreat. Traveled over 1,500 miles and we were granted a group rate because we had many people in our travel party. It wasn't until I returned home that I realized that my account had fraudulent charges from this hotel!!! Now I am a fairly reasonable person. I thought "It's the holidays, this could have happened to anyone." But NO! I WASN'T THE ONLY VICTIM. I AND ALL OF MY FELLOW RETREATERS ACCOUNTS HAD BEEN COMPROMISED. ANYONE THAT USED A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD! WE WERE ALL TARGETED! THIS WAS APPROXIMATELY 40 PEOPLE! Now 1 or 2 people may be coincidental, but THE WHOLE GROUP OF TRAVELERS? Not coincidence. Perhaps they thought we were loose parishners, with no ties, or no community or commradary amongs us. But they were sadly mistaken, and are a tight knitted group. My infomation was stolen and sold. There was fraud on my account of $500+ dollars. Do not stay here, if you do pay cash. We are all in the process of filing a lawsuit against this hotel. Police reports have been filed with the Tyler PD as well. They have lost some of the best customers they've ever had! read more

Ok so I got to the hotel an hour before check-in hoping to get a room earlier because I drove 13+ hours but soon as I walked in I was greeted with an eye roll and can I help you .. I explained my situation but of course she couldn't check me in until 3pm no problem I ventured around Tyler for an hour and came back at 245 (what's 15 min right? Wrong ) the lady behind the desk looked at me then her watch and proceeded rolling eyes again and she went and found me an open room - I then checked in all I wanted was a shower really - the housekeeping had to bring me towels cause I was 15 min early but they had No soap until Monday ? The room had no coffee pot, had a coffee maker but no pot and the full breakfast you're supposed to get only had grab and go danishes and no milk for coffee- also the pool was broken and not open at the time .. all in a it was a bed to lay my head in and a shower - only paid $41 any more then that I would've been pissed- this hotel shames all "choice" hotels read more

Hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage, there also was a variety of other food items to choose from (yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, peanut butter, jelly...). It is located just north of Tyler, TX and right off Interstate 20. It's a great hotel. It's extremely clean, up to date, comfortable, and definitely has reasonable rates. There is absolutely nothing bad that I could say about the hotel. I was working in Tyler for the week and definitely would stay again. It is one of the nicest Choice Hotels that I have stayed in and I have stayed in a ton. At least 60 nights a year, every year for the last 10 years. read more

I'm glad I made our reservation by calling directly. They asked if I had any qualifying discounts as part of the reservation process - I appreciated that. Check-in was smooth and quick. I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the entire facility and the room. Simply outstanding. They have won several awards and deservedly so.
