So the two stars are for the amazing employees that were doing what they could !! As far as the room, I couldn't say the same. Furniture was dated and sliding door to the shower was installed oddly. My boys came across a random pill when trying to use the pull out. There weren't enough towels for my Fam. Tv channels didnt work .. BREAKFAST AND POOL seemed to be popular amenities, but literally that's it.

    Bed bug

Our original hotel overbooked and we called here at 1am looking for a room. They had one and I was so thankful. We got there and the gentlemen that was working was wonderful, he was very pleasant and we were at ease that we made a great choice at the 11th hour. The next morning I went to make the bed as we werent going to have service done in the room and while making the bed there was a bed bug going full speed across the bed. I went to the front desk and the woman there was not the least bit sympathetic. Her response - we can put you in another room but until the exterminator comes Monday or Tuesday to check for proof, there is nothing we can do. I was like oh I shouldnt have flushed it then? Ok well now I am not staying here for another night what needs to be done and she says nothing. I ran into one of the house keepers in the elevator, not realizing who she was and she was more sympathtic than the desk clerk. I saw her behind the desk when I checked out telling the clerk what I said. I get that there are bedbugs at places, but this clerk acted as if it was nothing new nor surprising. And when she finally got me a business card with the GM's info whereever she reached into, she pulled her hand back fast and her comment was oh that was a big one- a big one what?? I cannot stop itching....

The staff here is super nice! Everyone was wearing a smile. Our room had a couch which was nice. The bed was pretty comfy and had four pillows. The shower was nice. Bathroom looked clean and well maintained. Air conditioner was strong too.

    Spacious Comfortable Room!

Went there a little over a year ago and it was badly outdated. Felt like I was at an old hotel from the 70s.

Well managed. Super great staff. That's an important reason we stay only at Hilton. Yes, it's an older building. It's Fort Wayne, Indiana, folks. There are no new buildings. This is clearly the best hotel if you're staying in town. That said, it is true, I expect Hilton to invest in this property to maintain brand standard. There is no better alternative nearby, but hurry up and step it up. The building is old and musty, and Hilton knows it. We stayed in the 1 bed-1bath King Suite and it's a lovely layout. Great furniture. Very clean. Once in the room, it's a Hilton Hampton Inn. Until in the room, it's Fort Wayne. The staff accommodated my family's every need. The lobby is lovely for late night work while the family sleeps and the pool is super kid friendly. Plus, nice breakfast area. I do think Hilton knows it's time to invest in the infrastructure updates. Until then, give the staff a raise. Big time. Management, front desk, and maids. Your people are making Hilton look good in an old facility. It speaks volumes for Hilton's quality of management, Conrad Hilton would be pissed about the corporate's inattention to the need for an update. Conrad would also give each of these staff members a free vacation for making him look good. I expect Hilton to act accordingly. Veritas! Harvard '24. Thanks from the family.

As others have mentioned, parking isn't that close, and there's a walkway between the parking garage and the hotel. Also, this Hampton Inn is right next to a Courtyard by Marriott. The staff was helpful, especially regarding our 10 pm, 12 am, and 2 am irritation from someone in the fitness center dropping the ball weights. This went on for two nights. Nothing but repeated loud thuds. Come to find out it was a bunch of kids; at that who's bright idea was to put a fitness center on thr top floor? It's a nice hotel with some minor issues. Id likely stay again, but perhaps 2-4 floors.

Technically, it was co-created by Barbara Bradley Baekgaard of Vera Bradley, and also Provenance Hotels, known for their boutique hotels. I guess it makes sense to have a Vera Bradley-themed hotel in Fort Wayne, because Vera Bradley's headquarters are in Fort Wayne. Don't tell Vera (or Barbara), but I find VB purses and bags a little dowdy and old-fashioned, and I thought I would step into The Bradley and be greeted with a hotel decked out in the same frumpy aesthetic. But no! The hotel is sleek and modern, yet there are subtle details that feel touched by Vera Bradley's influence. For instance, my room had pops of coordinating colors and patterns mixing together to create a homey but chic look. The whole hotel is like that, really. They could have gone really heavy-handed with the floral prints in this hotel, but they restrained themselves, and the hotel is all the better for it. Beyond the aesthetics, this cute hotel has nine specially designed suites, a rotating art gallery and two restaurants, including a rooftop bar. I didn't get to check out the restaurants or bar, but I definitely am the next time I stay here. (And there will be a next time!) A quick head's up for people thinking of staying here with kids. Kids are absolutely welcome here, but The Bradley doesn't really have the things that a parent and kids might want, like a pool and free breakfast. The Bradley would make a great getaway for adults-only stays! One small thing that vexed me during my stay was that I couldn't take the stairs to go up to my room, which was on the second floor. There are emergency stairs on each floor that go down, but you can't go up them because they are locked on the lobby floor, and unless you enter a code, which only the people who work there know, you can't open the stairs door. My personal ethos is to take the stairs for anything less than four flights, so it really perturbed me to have to use the elevator to go up and down a single floor. But I had no choice! They have an OK fitness center here, with a couple of treadmills and one elliptical, which blessedly was free every time I visited the fitness center. There are also some free weights and cold towels, which were refreshing. One thing to keep in mind is that valet parking is the default. I am a cheapo and don't generally like to use valet, but the only other option was a public lot a couple of blocks away, and that was only slightly less expensive than just doing valet. So I just did valet. For the most part, the valet attendants were quick to get my vehicle, except for check-out morning, when it felt like everyone was waiting for their vehicles at the same time. The Bradley is located right in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, and it within easy waling distance to what seems like everything, including The Landing, a historic district that has multiple independent shops and restaurants.

The woman working the front desk, Letra (spelling?) was absolutely amazing. She was always smiling, greeted us by name whenever we walked through the lobby and was just a ray of sunshine. Employees like her really do make a business. The location was great for us because we were at a convention and the convention center was right across the street. We were able to drive a short distance to go to dinner and a movie one night. The bed was very clean which I so much appreciated. I'm very very particular about things being clean. There were employees mopping and cleaning common areas throughout our stay. The shower and sink area were also clean. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that there were handprints on the walls in the hall, dust on the baseboards in the room and a big chair in the room that was made of material that would need to be cleaned instead of wiped off so for me, it was just a waste of space. If I can't clean something with my Lysol wipes, I prefer not to have it in my hotel room. I just avoided sitting there. I would recommend the hotel and if you stay and have a chance to meet Letra, you're fortunate.
