They gave us throw pillows. They didn't even have any standard size pillows

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It was late when we checked in. They overcharged us vs what the website listed. The AC didn't cool off the room, the room smelled like cigarettes, the bathroom sink was clogged and they couldn't even give you regular sized pillows. They had 5 throw pillows on the bed. The smoke detector kept beeping and the sheets were itchy and felt dirty. We finally had enough and left after 2 hours. The guy at the desk said he couldn't credit me, but could give me a different room. Hmmm......that's weird. Because when I checked in he said I had the last room. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

    Water stain on the ceiling

The Twinsburg Comfort Suites was extremely dirty. My first room had hair clippings all over the night stand, phone, lamp, ledge, and edge of the bed. There was urine on the rim of the toilet seat. A red stain on the comforter. Toothpaste splatter on the mirror. The floor and couch were stained and needed to be vacuumed. And the bathroom door was filthy. Do not stay here you care about cleanliness. My second room was better, minus the hair clippings and urine, but still dirty enough to make me feel uncomfortable. I tried calling around to other hotels but availability was limited otherwise I would not have stayed there.

Would not bury dead folks there. The jacuzzi was dirty, the continental breakfast was horrible, and the woman who called herself preparing it was hi off uppers or weed or something. I'd rather sleep in a box

Although there is a pool and gym, they're very basic. The rooms are okay, and come with a small fridge, coffee maker, & coffee.

No coffee maker in my room, for example. The breakfast options were below meager. No decaf, no non-sugar sweeteners, and almost nothing to eat. Then there's the lack of customer service. I was forced to stay here on a freezing cold night because of a power outage at my home. I took my desert-dwelling bearded dragon with me because I knew that Super 8s were pet-friendly. Upon arriving, I discovered that this particular location only allows dogs--no other pets. (This was NOT mentioned on the website.) I explained that my pet would remain in her cage and would otherwise freeze to death, but the manager didn't care. Yes, even though it was an emergency. I would have given this place three stars. That total lack of accommodation amidst an emergency situation gives them just one star.

The location is conveniently near a Starbucks and the freeway. They have amenities like a heated pool and gym but I didn't use them. I booked a couple nights around new years. It wasn't the quietest (I could hear cars/traffic noise). But it also wasn't a party hotel. Be sure to take the time to lower the black out curtains and adjust the thermostat screen for better sleep. The suites were very large and updated. There is a little wear and tear. I saw some scuff marks on the walls. But overall it's a clean hotel. Upon check in they give you bottled water. Breakfast starts at 6am and it's complimentary. But if you have to head out earlier they have a couple brown bags breakfast to go! Inside was a bottle of water, a bagel, and an apple. Check in and out was very quick and friendly. Thank you Chance and Susan. This will probably be my go to hotel for visiting this area.

There is also a desk, microwave & fridge which is a bonus. The TV worked fine & had HBO (the guide button on the remote didn't work so it was kind of weird to have to find like four separate guides to determine what channel is to watch just by flicking the channel button up and down ). The bathroom was large with great counter space & a nice large shower (women will appreciate that it has a ledge for shaving legs). Bed was comfy with 4 pillows , room darkening blinds I loved . They have free typical breakfast with eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, etc & the breakfast area is large and has a TV in it . Coffee is available in the lobby all day (but there is also a Starbucks on the right side of the hotel now just steps from the side door, and you are also next to a McDonald's and a Dunkin). Staff is friendly. The only issues I've ever had here were with check in as a Hilton Honors member, check-in has not gone smoothly, and my digital key has never worked here. This time I was almost checked in as a different guest and luckily, I knew I already had a hold on my credit card and that got figured out quickly. There is also a pool & gym. Free large parking lot. The hotel is 4 floors & used stairs easily (2 elevators). my only room issue this time around was the deadbolt did not latch. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The sausages have the texture of a rubber ball and no taste. The bacon is so thin and cooked that if you drop it on the plate, it literally breaks. I am not joking, try it. Eggs vary back and forth between scrambled (decent) and "omelet", which is basically a folded over scramble with some kind of Cheese Whiz. I was happy for the scrambled days. I grabbed a ham and egg croissant and disassembled in order to reposition the items, only to find that the ham was gray. I went to pick up an orange and my fingers sank into mushy mold on the bottom. My last morning I arrived at around 9a and there was about a forkful of eggs left, no bacon or sausage. Pretty disappointing for $149 room night (which, what??). The room was rundown and shabby. The bed is scarcely softer than an ironing board wrapped in a sleeping bag. It was impossible to find a way to be comfortable or stay asleep for longer than a couple hours. The loveseat is so run down that only by sitting in the middle are you not tilted to one side or the other. I've attached photos of the light fixture in the bathroom, the stovetop, and the windows for your perusal. Overall, I would have switched hotels after the first virtually sleepless night if it wasn't for lack of availability in the area I needed to stay. I am still sore from the bed and tired from the lack of sleep. I cannot believe the rate was increased by $30 for my final night. Should have moved to the car. Stay at the Comfort Inn Suites down the street. It's in need of updates, but at least the beds are comfortable.

Upon arrival, we noticed a strong gas-like smell in the entryway, lobby, and partway down the hall to our rooms. When I asked about it, I was told it wasn't gas but "fumes." Apparently, the fire department had been called the day prior and cleared the issue, but the smell was still extremely concerning. The rooms themselves were disappointing--dark, outdated, and in need of serious TLC. The TVs were old, the hair dryer was barely attached to the wall, and the ceiling above the shower was cracked. The heating system made a loud ringing noise all night, which made it hard to sleep. We also thought we booked rooms with queen-sized beds, but they were actually full-sized, which was frustrating. On the bright side, the kids enjoyed the game room, though many of the video games weren't working. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and Hanukkah in the lobby, and there were festive trees throughout the building. The bar hours were confusing and inconsistent. It closed early on both nights, and the bartender seemed annoyed that the wedding party didn't show up, despite initially saying the bar would stay open until 2 a.m. One nice aspect was that the hotel was empty over Thanksgiving weekend, which meant the kids could run around freely without bothering anyone. The staff seemed indifferent to what guests did in the common areas--both a blessing and a bit concerning. Overall: While the holiday decor and some aspects of the stay were nice, the outdated rooms, odd smells, and lack of attention to detail made this a less-than-stellar experience. Wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for a very outdated and lax environment.

I got into my room and was freezing. Now let me also state that when I checked in, it was -4° outside so I expect a level of chill to be in the air. My room had the heat on, stating 65° but it was actually 50°. By turning the heat on the highest (85°), I was able to get the room to 67°. When I booked the hotel stay, I was told it was a 3 star hotel with a continental breakfast. Now, an inexpensive breakfast isn't a deciding factor for me but it's a nice amenity. (For what it's worth, I'm from out of state, visiting family in hospice.) Today is Christmas and my birthday. I woke up and there is no water. I am unable to flush the toilet, shower, or even brush my teeth. When I called the front desk, they said it's a known problem and a plumber is there. They told me if the problem persists for a few hours, they can maybe move my room. Maybe? What am I paying for? I would have appreciated a heads up. Had I not dealt with any issues, I would rate the hotel a little bit better. It's out of date and whoever they have working on the space isn't experienced. There's a random screw in the night stand, the wallpaper is peeling, there are random stains all over (including a pillow), hair pins on the floor, etc. My room was non smoking (my partner is sensitive to smells and asthmatic) but the room reeked of smoke. The sheets are old - stretched out and ripped in places. We needed an extra blanket (since the room was so cold) and the front desk said they didn't have any extras, but suggested we look in our closet. The closet had yet another pillow with small stains on it. There is a microwave and mini fridge, and they seem to work so that's a plus. While all of these issues are minor, it could have been dealt with much better. Any heads up would have been appreciated, or a solution. Edited to add - it's 3:40pm and the hotel just called to say that they are doing an emergency evacuation. We have until 6pm to get our belongings. No clue if we get refunded or not.

Anyone came come into the building at any time of day or night. Pool area is tore up and not being repaired. Building is run down. 3rd floor absolutely reeks of marijuana. The carpet is full of stains. Our room? Shower head holes had dark stains - rust? The hot water handle on the sink faucet was broken. Cracked tile on the floor. The bed linens were frayed and separating. We bought slippers at Walmart across the street because we didn't want to touch the floor. Housekeeping is nearly nonexistent. I asked at the front desk the 2nd morning, and was told the sheets already went out. I just wanted our used items replaced, it seemed like I was asking for too much. They did give us toilet paper, but no tissues and they didn't replace to cups or ice bucket liner. They are not truthful in their description of "daily housekeeping", you have to ask for service and even then it isn't guaranteed. It was so bad that I did something I've NEVER done before - checked out with 3 prepaid nights remaining. Paid a lot more for another hotel, but it was worth it. I should have tried to get a refund on the unused nights, but I didn't even have the energy to meet with the manager. They've got to know how bad it is. I wouldn't be able to work there and look people in the eye. I was wrong to be swayed by the Wyndham name. Don't stay here. Stay far away.
