All procedures were performed by assistants. He hasn't been thrilled with the care he has received, but he decided to finish his treatment, rather than change to another practice at this point. He had a 4 pm appointment yesterday and when he arrived, he was told by the receptionist that his doctor had moved to another office, down the hall. This receptionist was rude and nasty and made it seem that he should have known not to come to HER office to bother her. So he went to the new location and told the receptionist there what had just happened. This lady was very nice and apologetic and explained that the doctor had changed offices, the day before, and they were remiss in sending the patients this change of location for their upcoming appointments. So my husband sat down and waited and waited and eventually was led to an exam room where he waited some more. He was there for a full hour and no one even stuck their head in the door to check on him or to apologize for the wait. After an hour, my husband got up, got dressed and walked out of the exam room, past the receptionist, and out the door. No one said one word to him. It was close to a half hour later when he received a phone call from someone in a call center, not even someone who was in the office, and she was calling to reschedule his appointment. She had NO idea that anything had happened or that he had even just been in the office waiting to be seen. She was calling to set up an appointment. My husband then told this whole story and said that he wanted a call from the office manager AND he expected the charge that they made to his credit card for the visit (yes, they charge you BEFORE your visit) to be refunded! He has yet to receive that call from the office manager nor have we received the refund! If we could give NO stars, we would!

The eyebrow threading was totally different than I expected, it was like the rolled the thread to remove the hairs. During some parts I was asked to pull the skin to allow better access, required both my hands. It wasn't painful but I did feel twinges 2-5 minutes after it was all done. I loved the results. I have no idea if it's better or worse than eyebrow waxing but I was there for a new experience so didn't really care. Again, the results are just as good as waxing. I then went for the ear wax pull, I'd read about it but wasn't sure how real it was. At the end of the day the straws had ear wax and honestly, the ear that I heard the most sizzle had the most ear ax in the straw. It didn't give me super hearing but it was interesting to do and see. I'll definitely return for eyebrow threading and maybe a facial next time too.

I still wanted the service but she'd rather argue with you than to just say something like "oh I'm sorry I forgot to mention that do you still want the service?" and move on. I didn't feel comfortable after that discussion and I will not be back. I would suggest you go to someone else.

Overall , a good experience but there are things that I would've liked to be different. The overall vibe seems a bit commercial, even though there are marocan elements scattered throughout. I would've liked a bit more of an authentic marocan vibe. Got there at 10.03 am and the paperwork took about 10-12 Minutes. Then locker room for changing another maybe 10 minutes. We started at 10:30 am with what was supposed to be an hour massage . Only got a 45 minutes massage. The therapist was great but asked way too many questions. The room was on cold and had a fan blowing as well. After the massage , we went straight to scrub/ sauna area. Different therapist. She was very nice and did her best to make us feel comfortable. The first room was a wet room with 2 stone "beds" . Even though they used warm water at times , the room was cold and it made the whole experience a bit unpleasant . The sauna part was probably the best one. After the scrub/sauna part was over we got 20 minutes in the tea room. We were served fruits, 3 rally small but delicious cookies and watered down mint tea. The cookies were really great but maybe they should serve a few extra ones. They also had some mini size American chocolates. It's a nice touch but maybe some marocan candy would work better. The last step was a 90 min anti aging facial. The tech was good but nothing to be blown away by. As far as the cost, we paid $900 for 2 people, plus $240 tip for the therapists. The place was scattered with signs that suggested leaving a generous tip. Even the bathrooms had at least 2 signs. It felt a bit exaggerated and as I stated on the beginning, commercial. I don't mind spending the money for an authentic experience and unfortunately this place didn't hit the mark. They sell a specific line of cosmetics and we got suggestions of what to buy from the therapists. Again, the amount of signs and pamphlets suggesting a purchase, was again a bit much. It was an ok experience but unfortunately I would not go back. I will keep searching for a place that offers a more authentic experience.
