Once we picked out the right diamond, she helped me get the setting with one of the jewelers upstairs. The price was right and it was finished quickly. We ended up getting our wedding bands through her as well. Her shop is in one of the basement locations on jewelers row, so it might be a bit hard to find, but its' there. I came to this store with my fiancé, the allure of the vintage turquoise interior drawing me in! We…read morewere looking for high quality vintage wedding bands on a chilly Saturday morning in April. Alan and his lovely wife Denise were so warm and friendly - not pushy or selling me in any way. I showed them a picture of what I wanted- they didn't have exactly what I was looking for (a yellow gold band with Victorian diamond star pattern) but showed me some other beautiful delicate bands. Some of the other shops in the diamond district have a bad stale smoke odor or cheesy elevator music - both are a big turn off. Thankfully this shop does not...so we stayed, breathed easily, and looked at everything he had. Alan brought out another box from the back and showed me more vintage rings like I had asked. He was very patient and a good listener without pressuring us. They have a solid collection of vintage and more modern bands. They also said they could make the ring I wanted if I couldn't find the vintage one. After we narrowed our selection to our top choices we needed to think about it without a growling tummy. We live in Brooklyn, so Alan gave us a great suggestion in the area for brunch. I ended up falling in love with a 1940s style with 5 diamonds across that didn't even need to be re sized! It fit perfectly! My fiancé found a classic yellow gold vintage Tiffany band -very hard to find ! And we had been looking in Philly, NYC, and Brooklyn for exactly that! Several of their friends or repeat clients came in during our time here which made us appreciate the good relationships he has with his clients- they also have a stack of thank you cards from happy customers! He put our rings in the steam cleaner without taking the "vintage appeal" away- just to brighten up the diamonds and the bands and said if we needed to resize for any reason he was happy to do it for free. Then gave us our treasures in pretty navy blue boxes as well as some Jewerly cleaner. I would definitely come back and take a look at his vintage mens and women's watches from the 1960s/70s and older. They do have an etsy shop but they have much more stock in the store so I suggest you come in and take a look in person! It's a small business that has honest prices and they're good people. They have been in business for 37 years. You don't find this kind of business run by nicer people. Thank you Alan and Denise! We're so happy! You put a ring on my finger and a smile on my face!

The owners, Denise and Alan couldn't have been nicer to deal with and their jewelry is really special. They have a nice collection of vintage and antique pieces and some lovely vintage eternity bands. My ring is absolutely gorgeous and just what I was looking for. I highly recommend this business. They are not a huge store but the personalized service cannot be replicated and that is what makes this business and the one-of-a-kind pieces they sell so very special.
