Coffee choices for a vast! Atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or soft chatting. Varied seating options. Limited snack options like muffins or cookies. Long wait bc only one making coffee and one taking orders.

From the moment I stepped into Ubora Coffee, I was transported to a bygone era of North Augusta's historic charm. The coffee shop's entrance offered a view of old-timey red brick buildings, across the street there is a closed leather company from days past, which perfectly complemented the vintage vibe of Ubora. The interior of this coffee shop was impressively spacious, reflecting their dual role as both a café and a coffee roaster. My favorite coffee shops roasts their own coffee beans in-house, and this detail always adds a unique touch to the ambiance, some what of an industrious vibe. I indulged in an iced mocha latte that was perfect. Accompanying my beverage was a bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. I was super hungry I had been camping for two days so this sandwich at the time seemed like the best thing I had ever eaten. What truly made my visit memorable was the service. The person who took my order was incredibly helpful, they didn't mind how long it took me to order I tend to ask lots of menu questions ie what your favorite and stuff like that. Ubora Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's an experience. It's a place where the past and present converge to create a warm, inviting atmosphere, complemented by delicious coffee and food. If you're passing through here stop in here for a bit. Ubora is a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast.

This downtown-ish coffee shop has a cavernous interior, and the vibe is distinctive. While Augusta has a military presence, the base seems very contained and I don't feel its presence much. Here, however, numerous service-related flags flew, and the coffee-table conversation was about the latest in wearable technologies for measuring athletic performance. They had a small but good-looking pastry selection. I got a cinnamon roll, which was a pull-apart sheet kind of a thing that came warmed and with some sort of cream cheese icing. Not what I would have designed, but for what it was this was an impressive creation and quite delectable. My chai was less impressive, arriving with an attempted heart shape in the foam that looked like it was in heart failure. Thankfully given the cinnamon roll, the chai wasn't too sweet, but the flavors didn't really mix well either. To be fair to them, the sign on the door says coffee. Having said that, it was a very nice space and a welcome presence in the city that was different than anything I've experience so far, and even though I'm not a big coffee person, I would be happy to come back.

A hidden gem in Augusta. Location and Parking Ubora is located in downtown Augusta. Parking is across the street in the church parking lot. It is limited space, but it's free. Venue and Atmosphere The store is spacious with restrooms in the rear of the building. You can see them roasting and packing coffee in the back (behind a partition for safety). There are plenty of long tables to work at, as well as a few couches if you'd like to relax and sip your coffee. Service The baristas were polite and efficient. Food and Beverages I ordered the pumpkin spice coffee and a bagel sandwich. Both were some of the best I've ever had. The latte was rich and flavorful, served in a logo cup from Ubora. The sandwich had a perfect amount of cheese, butter, and a dollop of cream cheese for good measure. I also ordered a chocolate muffin, which was divine. Verdict I'll definitely be back next time I drive through Augusta!

This place is a LITERAL GEM I was not expecting to be able to find a quality coffee house in Augusta, but this place is it!! The baristas are super friendly & are great to have conversations with. We visited about 3 times in a week, we are hooked! We've got iced coffee and hot coffee, both are fantastic & you can not go wrong with any drinks/flavors in my opinion. The bakery items seem to rotate, those 3 times we were there they had different items. But man, they were delicious!! I cannot wait to come back. Thank you.

A really great business that has had some rough luck! When we heard that they had some flooding in their building, me and a friend knew we had to come support them. As a local student, Ubora has always been there for us as we study, and the community loves them! The drinks we ordered were excellent, and the staff was super friendly. I especially loved the temperature of my hot chocolate- usually I ALWAYS burn my tongue while trying to drink hot drinks, but this time it was the perfect level of hot to be enjoyable but not burn me. Really enjoyed it, and would definitely go back!

Might help if there were directions, a photo of the outside of the place, or something. Can't find them on Google Maps, can't find them on Yahoo! and the address shows on my GPS as a vacant building. Does anyone know exactly where this place is?

If you search google maps Ubora coffee roasters it should come up. We are located in the old building we rehabbed. Unfortunately Google will not change the photo over and we have to wait until the next Google car drives by so the picture will…

The place was apparently closed (we had mixed up which coffee shop it was on Google and thought it stayed open until 5pm) but the door was open. I opened the door, poked my head in, and asked the lady if they were open. She was polite and said no but they could sell me a bag of beans if needed. I said no thank you - Then out of nowhere the dog that stays in this building bolted toward me and out the door. My girlfriend was outside the building in the dirt parking lot with our new puppy just walking her around waiting for me. This dog of theirs in the building was unleashed and apparently uncontrollable because it got extremely aggressive, bolted out of the door by me before I could shut the door, and attacked our puppy. Luckily, it does not seem our puppy got bitten, but this is not acceptable as my girlfriend and our puppy were far outside of the building and way out in the parking lot - not even coming in. If you're going to have a dog in this place, please either be able to control it and not let it run outside of the building and attack other dogs or please keep it leashed. We will not be going back here due to this experience.

It doesn't just handle museum related items and souvenirs. Its inventory is related to everything of the entire State of South Carolina. As they state, they've "...explored every corner of the state to bring you the best of South Carolina," and from what I've seen they have done that and then some. It's a really big store and has most everything one can think of that would be South Carolina related and most of the goods are of superior quality, not just cheap Chinese built trinkets. But the best part is the selection. They have everything from jewelry to clothing to home decorator items and the staff is more than willing to assist. Sitting along busy Central Avenue, it's actually pretty easy to pass right by if you aren't looking for it. From the outside, it looks like what it is -- an old Augusta bungalow that found a second life as a neighborhood coffeehouse. Walk inside, though, and something happens. Everything slows down. The rooms are small. The furniture doesn't necessarily match. The chairs look like thousands of people have already found their favorite position in them. There's a porch, little tables tucked into different spaces, and none of it feels staged or designed to manufacture some trendy "coffeehouse aesthetic." In fact, I noticed something while sitting here: I don't see electrical outlets conveniently positioned at every table. I don't see a sea of laptops. Instead, I hear locals talking about doctor appointments, seeing the grandkids this weekend, and how ridiculously hot Augusta has been. People are simply here. I came in expecting to grab a coffee and leave. I have places to go and things to do today. But I sat down. Then I started looking around. Then I realized I didn't really want to leave. At some point they had probably been calling my drink for several minutes and I hadn't even noticed. And then I ordered a second coffee. That might be the best review I can give Buona Caffe. The coffee itself is absolutely on point. The staff knows what they're serving, makes thoughtful recommendations and genuinely seems to care about getting it right. But what makes this place special is everything surrounding the cup. It almost feels like they don't completely realize what they have here -- or maybe they do and simply have no desire to make it anything more than what it already is. As this part of Augusta continues to grow, with new homes and businesses coming into the area, I hope places like Buona Caffe remain exactly as they are. Sometimes you need a place between where you've been and wherever you have to go next. Somewhere neutral where you can sit down, let a little time pass, decompress and breathe before heading back out onto Central Avenue. Buona Caffe is that place.
