This place. Where do I start! First, the staff, was incredibly patient and kind and just welcoming. First time here I And I love a lot of things coffee wise. I tried the maple shaken iced latte, and the creme brulee latte. Both with salted caramel cold foam. A. MAZ. ING. so good. The food was great portions for the price, I couldn't fully finish mine, and I love some avo toast, it was very yummy. Bacon was fresh and crispy. I ordered a white mocha iced latte, south west burrito and a berry danish. The food is great and my latte was too sweet and I asked for it to be remade and the young lady was really kind and remade it. It was still too sweet for me but I didn't want to be a bother but the young lady came to my table and asked me how I liked it, I was honest and she offered to remake it again free of charge. Customer service was a 10/10 experience that will have me coming back. I didn't get her name but she was young women of color with braids. read more

Given that there is still unfinished construction around this newly opened brunch place, I thought I might be the only one there. Nope, it was full even on a weekday morning. Fortunately, there was some outdoor seating, which was reasonably shaded but subject to gusty wind. The ordering line moved awfully slowly, but once I ordered, my drink and food were quite expeditious. There were many items to consider, but a trio of crepes with a raspberry compote that hits first and a nutella filling to finish the taste were definitely a good choice. People with more restrictive diets will find options, including a chia pudding that I considered. The other plates with indulgent toast-based options looked impressive. My lemonade with boba was delivered oddly without a straw in sight, but I still enjoyed it. Love Rooted Coffeehouse at West Lake Commons. Great food and good vibes! My go-to order is the French Scramble Hash. It's always so fresh!

Yes this location has been open less than a year, but still that is no excuse to miss out on what you know will be an amazing experience. I had been to the first two locations and knew this would be just as top notch, but let me tell you that upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I am not a coffee-latte-espresso drinker. We decided to eat here for a quick lunch! We love the new location and the variety of seating options, whether you want to sit indoors or outdoors. We ordered two of their hot sandwiches. One of them was the tangy roast beef and the other was their turkey and brie. Both sandwiches were served hot and very quickly! We both were impressed with our sandwiches and plan on returning to try more off of their menu. We also ordered their strawberry acai refresher! Good parking, great location from my home in the River Island community, cleanliness and quality of food and coffee were very good. Service was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only downside is the acoustics. When it gets really busy or even if a little busy with a couple of guests who speak very loudly to each other or on the phone, it reverberates through the entire room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hard to fix as rude people will show up no matter what you do but it was uncomfortably loud one day when I was there. Rooted has become a neighborhood favorite. They are always friendly and welcoming. The food is always well presented. The Açaí bowl is highly recommended. The fruits are fresh and the honey drizzle with pollen dust is a great topping. The gravy on the grits is tomato based not preferred but it was very delicious. Arrived early afternoon last week after seeing a now open sign. The staff was very friendly and gave some awesome recommendations. We decided to try a few items on the spring menu which was set to retire the next day. We selected the Caramel Brownie Shaken Espresso, Peach Ring refresher and honey lavender espresso. While all of them were wonderful, the Caramel Brownie was the standout!! Talk about deliciousness. It felt like drinking a brownie lol it's fantastic for the sweet coffee lovers. The peach ring refresher was tasty but seemed to have a little too much syrup maybe. The lavender one was our least favorite, but if you enjoy a heavy lavender flavor you'd enjoy it. The ambience was lovely and vibey. Great for a cute coffee date. Definitely plan to visit again and enjoy sitting outside in the patio area. read more

The food is decent but 16.00 for a breakfast sandwich With no Side is pricey and to be Clear I'm from Ny and Worked in Mahnahatten So there's that part and the fact you Can't get creamer or Sugar with your Coffee on the Side on ordering!
