We have only been coming here for about two years. I actually use to bowl with him many years ago so I decided to become a patient of his along with my children. He and his staff are very friendly and professional but also provide a laid back atmosphere. I think this is important considering that most hate going to the Dentist. Most recently, my 8-year old had to get braces on his top teeth. He was a nervous wreck but again he and his staff calmed his fears and the experience was a good one for my little one. They are very gentle with the kids so much so that they looked forward to going for their cleanings. This is HUGE as we don't have to "pull teeth" to get them to go to the dentist. Im a funny guy ain't ?! Luckily, I have decent dental coverage but I must say that the fifth star eludes them because the pricing on their services are a little higher than others. Other than this, I highly recommend Dr. Ragozine.

My son is on a busy tight schedule with certain dental plan restrictions to work with. Robin went above and beyond to try to accommodate his situation. She even tried to work it out that he could get his x-rays started the same day we called, to get his teeth fixed faster. She was so courteous and understanding, that we like this place before even meeting them in person. We tried others that were closer, and they dismissed us within minutes even when we offered to pay with a credit card, or cash, if the dental plan wouldn't work! It says a lot when the person on the entrance desk is that willing to work with a new client and their personal situation. On that I will give the Burton Dental Care Office a 4. It would be a 5 but we haven't actually even been there yet. It will be soon, thanks to Robin.

The experience that I had here does not fit with the other reviews at all. We just moved to the…read morearea and were looking for a dentist and the reviews I read were good, so I gave a call. First and foremost, when I made the appointment, the receptionist was not pleasant. This concerned me, but we went through with scheduling. We had to wait 6 months for the appointment. We had 4 appts that were scheduled for the same afternoon. 3 at once and one a little later (whoever thought that was a good idea doesn't have 2 young children). We had an issue with my husband running late as he was called to a wildfire and the front desk receptionist was rushing me away from my two children and was short and rude with me. She was annoyed that we were running late. The dental hygienist working with my son was amazing and I felt comfortable enough to leave my son with her and get my daughter into a chair (which they put on the opposite side of the office...) My daughter, who has had her teeth cleaned before was not doing as well as my son and I had to hold her hand and was working on sneaking away to get into my appointment when the rude front desk receptionist came and was again short with me. I was already frazzled due to my husband being late, being rushed and there being a complete lack of understanding for what was happening. I started to tear up and had a chance to sneak away from my daughter and check on my son. I saw the receptionist and I stopped to talk with her. I let her know that her being short with me and rushing me and speaking to me the way she did was upsetting and I really didn't appreciate it while trying to navigate with my two children. I ended up running into the dentist next and he asked if everything was ok. I told him my husband was late arriving and I was upset about being rushed away from my children and pressured to jump into a chair. Rather than be understanding, he was annoyed because I had let the woman know that she was upsetting me by rushing me. He told me if I didn't trust his staff, I didn't need to be there. If I had yelled, this would make more sense to me. Instead, I let a person know how they made me feel. If you don't let someone know their actions are affecting you, they will continue them. Do not get me wrong, the dental hygienists were both great with the kids and they were understanding of the situation and trying to work with me and my children. I give a 1 because I have NEVER had such a dreadful experience. I have felt nothing but welcomed in this town, until this experience. (For those invested in the story, my husband did arrive, just as my daughter was finishing up. He apologized to the dentist, and I had a fit as I was in a tizzy by then. He got an earful. It's not his fault he was late, but don't apologize to someone who showed no understanding to the situation.)
