I was told that I needed to bring in a social security card for each of them instead of a driver's license. I have no problem with that, but it was the dull and unfriendly demeanor of the teller and desk staff that was disappointing. Very unmotivated. As we walked out the door, my daughter said to me, "Wow! Not toooo friendly there. I wouldn't want an account there." My son agreed. Imagine how they are with people who already have an account established. This is why I have banked with Discover for over 10 years. We went down the road to Regions to experience better service.

I made the mistake of not paying enough attention to my account. I just noticed a $330 over draft fee. I let them know i overreacted because an auto payment came out when I was supposed to be paid but I ended up not getting my check until 2 days later due to an error in our accounting department. They told me to get a letter from my work. I did: they told me there is still nothing they can do. Now charged me $330 and made me drive 50 miles for no reason. Also told me they would not give me change because they thought I was getting it for my work even though I am a member here and needed it for a garage sale..

PNC Bank allowed money to be stollen from 3 of our accounts (almost $10,000)didn't know anything…read moreabout it until we notified them of it. They said they had to freeze the accounts in order for an investigatin to take place. I went into the local branch (Wentzville, MO) and did all of this with one of their bankers. Two weeks later when I called them to check on it, they said I had to file a request for an investigation. I already did that two weeks prior. I contacted my employer to have the direct deposit pay checks go into differnent account at another bank. Unfortunatley this takes a couple of weeks to process. In the meantime, 2 direct deposit paychecks have gone into the "frozen" account and now PNC refuses to allow me to access my money. They said the investigation can take 60-90 days, we may or may not get the origional funds back, and only after the investigation is done can we have access to the direct deposit funds. I have talked with the branch manager as well as the regional VP. Both were nice at first but now the branch manager just says he is sorry but there is nothing they can do. The Regional VP is refusing to call me back, which she promised to do. If you value your money at all, DO NOT BANK WITH PNC!!!

After 3 months I added my daughter to the account before I moved back to Las Vegas, to help me to monitor our account. I stopped receiving statements 7/22 and could not log in on line but continued to use my card for purchases. In January 2023 some fraudulent purchases showed up on my two other bank account this continued until April 2023, when fraud prevention contacted me to ask about suspicious purchases. To Walmart in Bentonville, AR. I asked my daughter to close the account in April, but, not before my account with First Community was compromised unknown to me in because non receipt of statements. I found more fraudulent purchases in the month of late 11/22 to Walmart in Bentonville, AR, Dicks Sporting Goods in PA, Wilson Sporting Good, IL and again in early 12/1 to Wilson Sporting Good, IL. I was told by the First Community branch today in Lake St Louis that Visa Card agreement will not try to collect back funds if it was over 60 days from the date even if purchases were fraudulent. In addition, the promotion of 30 purchases per month to qualify for cash rewards is ridiculous. In addition, no single person can make 30 purchases a month or attempt to at retail or wholesale business. First Community needs a fraud prevention team to service its customers

I deposited two checks and when they didn't show up in my account I called to see what was going on and they told me they had no record of Me ever depositing them when I had the deposit slips in my hand. The next problem we had was $400 magically was taken out of my savings and put into my checking with no explanation. The transfer wasn't even documented on the bank statement. It's ridiculous. I would not recommend this bank to anyone .
