We don't live near this area, but wanted to try it b/c the reviews were pretty good. Well, it was very disappointing. The waitress was literally drinking a beer at the bar when she wasn't waiting on people. The food was less than satisfying. My son got the NY strip sandwich and the meat was inedible. So tough he couldn't chew it. I got the fish sandwich...fairly good, but nothing to write home about. The prices were very different from the pricing on yelp, so I've attached photos of the current menu with the (IMO) high prices. It's your typical local bar with very loud music, which you might like, but just not for me. All in all, not my cup of tea and really offended to see an employee drinking while waiting on customers. Saw the rating and had to try it. Definitely bar atmosphere but has a kids menu. Apparently on Tuesdays they do Bingo so we played lol. Drinks - They said they had a full bar and my husband asked for an old fashioned. We were told they don't have those, but I'm guessing the bartender just didn't know how to make it. Kinda interesting for a full bar. He got a beer instead. I ordered the "Sex with a bartender." Tasted great, but they left out the grenadine and I had to point that out. Ordered the fried green tomatoes for appetizer - Portion was large and they tasted great. I tried the fish platter and it was yummy and lots of food. I had leftovers. My only other complaint was that the silverware needs to be checked and cleaned better. Mine looked like it had some grease on it. Good place but I have a few issues . One, my wife of a Ruben sandwich and potatoes and it was $21 . We were not expecting that and it wasn't on the menu it was on the board as a special with no price. Also, they charge a processing fee for using your debit or credit card. We stopped in on a nine hour ride as we passed through. This place was extremely clean and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The menu was vast and the prices a little high, but the food was obviously homemade and very good. Because the shape of this restaurant is a large box, the acoustics amplified every sound which gave me a headache. We were there for an early dinner. My husband ordered a burger well done and it was more like medium well which is not to his liking with ground beef. The onion petals were good, but the "house sauce" was described as a spicy ranch and it was definitely not ranch and not spicy. The food here was excellent. My husband had the gumbo and a bowl is a BOWL! it is all you need. Great flavor and not too spicy. I had the lemon pepper wings and they were perfect. Crispy and just enough lemon and pepper combo. The drinks were good and they have craft beers and IPAs. Definitely worth the stop! read more

I have lived in Commerce for 4 years now. This was the first restaurant I tried while venturing out by myself. What an amazing place! The portions are huge, the food is fresh. I've never tried something I didn't like. I've heard more people (including my mother) rave about the basic garden salad than I can count. I'm a wing snob and it is one of my go to meals here. Though I will say I hope they add more/hotter flavors to the rotation. Honestly the only thing I can think of to improve. The people are so friendly and personable. Me and my husband come here ALL the time! We love it! We've never tried anything on the menu that we didn't like. For appetizers, try the pork rinds, cheese bites or the onion petals. My favorite entrees are the burgers and the Philly cheesesteak. My husband always enjoys the wings. Although, you really can't go wrong with anything. Everything is always consistent and comes out hot and fresh. Side notes-Lada is the owner and she is always soo sweet to all the customers. It's a good place to watch football games. At first that made me a little concerned, but the apprehension was gone the moment the food arrived. The Vidalia onion petals had great breading that was crisp with the right balance of seasoning to not overwhelm the flavor of the onion. Then came the burgers. Outstanding! Perfectly cooked. Thick. Served on homemade buns that will make you never want a standard bun again. My husband and I had the hand cut fries as our side. They were just like my mom used to make. Plentiful portions, too. I had a few runs at this bar while in Commerce, and I found the experience pretty good. The food was always great, the manager and most staff were fantastic. The atmosphere was awesome, especially on Friday night karaoke. However, the bartender was constantly complaining about her personal life and insulted customers constantly. A place as good as this should have an equally social bartender capable of being polite to new visitors. Considering the talent and potential of this bar, I'm surprised she's still ruining this place. Seeing comments below, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Disgusting food! Terrible service! We had a BOGO free coupon which is why decided to try it. Each of our meals was $7.99 and when the bill arrived the discount was $5.64? When we inquired about the discount the server said "that's what we were told to do." I explained it was to be BOGO free so she said "I'll fix it !"
