Stopped into the commissary with my mother to began our Thanksgiving shopping. We scavenged up and down the walk ways looking for all of our supplies. This commissary is a typical commissary, less updates than other commissaries. I enjoy the discounted prices, but many speciality items aren't found. Especially more health conscious purchases. Overall this store deserves a B. The store is spacious and the discounts are awesome. Pitfalls, less choices as it relates to products, not as many health options, and the produce section is small.

I'm not sure why it's called Park's Korean Grocery on Google, because the storefront doesn't say that. Anyways, I am Korean-American, who grew up in Metro Atlanta. I am extremely familiar with the big stores in that area, like Assi and H-Mart. This grocery store is a small local shop and I would not compare it to those big shops. This spot is good enough for Hinesville! I will say this spot in general, does not have a big variety of food grocery options. They have some snacks, sauces, rice, and some frozen food dishes like pre-made bulgolgi. They have other options and even sell some clothes. It is mom and pop, but do not let it fool you! I will say that this spot should be more recognized for their made-to-order food. They sell dishes that you can order and then take Togo. They are fairly priced, quickly made, and delicious! I really like their Kimchi fried Rice. Their bulgolgi kimbab was okay! I will be getting my Korean fix at this spot while I'm in the area.

It is advertised as a Korean Grocery store, but to be honest there isn't much shopping to do there. They do have various kimchi's you can buy as well as some Korean snacks. Do not come here expecting an H-Mart. The Korean snacks are pretty pricey but that is to be expected when there aren't really that many Korean stores in the area. The main attractions here is the food that is freshly made when you order. I paid 10.99 for the bulgogi and 9.99 for the yaki mandu. The portions are great and the food is packed with a ton of flavor. Very reasonably priced especially considering that there are other Korean restaurants in the area that lack flavor and charge you way more for a smaller portion. Check this place out!!

We ordered the Gurkensalat (cucumber salad), Rotkohl (red cabbage), Spätzle (German egg noodles), Klöße (German potato balls), and Sauerbraten (roast beef). Everything was delicious, and my German fiancée confirmed that the taste is very authentic. The price was good too - happy to come back. The only improvement opportunity I see would be to add a traditional vegetarian entree option, like Käsespätzle maybe.

By chance we were in the area and decided to swing by. From the time we stepped inside, Vivi made us feel welcome and made sure that we were well taken care of. There were three of us in our party and I immediately asked for the Jager Schnitzel with spatzle and the two ladies in my party asked for the Rouladen (which they just happened to have since it was a weekend) with spatzle and red cabbage. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! The flavors of each item were as authentic as I have had in the past. For dessert we had a slice of Black Forest Cake and a slice of Apple Strudel. Not a single bite was wasted of each dessert. If we are EVER in the area again, I have already been directed that we will be stopping by for another wonderful meal. Thank you Vivi for a wonderful meal and delightful conversation. You truly made our experience unforgettable.
