pproximately 6:00 PM. I presented to the emergency…read moredepartment with significant abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and pain radiating toward my back and left shoulder area. I also experienced shaking and ongoing discomfort that did not improve during my visit. These symptoms were concerning to me and were the reason I sought emergency care. During my visit, labs were drawn, and I was administered pain and nausea medication. However, I did not receive a clear explanation of my test results, what conditions were being ruled out, or why I was being discharged despite ongoing symptoms. I felt that my concerns were minimized and that I was rushed through the discharge process without adequate communication or reassurance. When I attempted to ask questions regarding my lab results and continued pain, the interaction became tense, and I left feeling dismissed rather than informed. I did not feel that my symptoms were fully addressed, nor did I feel confident that I understood my medical condition or next steps for care at the time of discharge. I am not submitting this grievance to assign blame, but to express concern about the lack of communication, explanation, and patient-centered care I experienced while I was in distress. As a patient, I believe it is reasonable to expect clear explanations, respectful communication, and reassurance--especially when presenting with ongoing pain and concerning symptoms. I appreciate the opportunity to have this reviewed and hope this feedback can help improve patient communication and care experiences in the emergency

The Emergency room was clean and not crowded. The staff made me feel very comfortable and was able to take care of me fairly quickly. Overall I was very happy with my visit, not looking to be back lol but I was happy how everything went.

Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

If we could rate ZERO, this would be our official rating…read more The service has been horrible. Instead of taking ownership of the chaos caused by the transition from Virginia Mason's portal to CommonSpirit Health, the blame is repeatedly pushed back onto VM rather than addressing the failures within your own system. Calling this a "seamless" transfer of records is embarrassing. Scheduling is chaotic, calls are frequently disconnected, records and appointments are missing, and patients are repeatedly forced to verify codes every single time they log off due to software issues. Even your own customer service representatives cannot properly resolve issues or navigate the system. From the outside, the organization continues to overpromise while underdelivering. Do not market this as seamless, accurate, or problem-free when the reality for patients has been frustration, inefficiency, confusion, and wasted time. If you are forcing hospitals and clinics into your systems after acquisition, then invest in properly fixing the software and training internal staff to assist patients instead of constantly redirecting problems back to Virginia Mason. Patients should not be paying the price for a failed transition.

I checked in using the link they sent me on my phone. When they called me up, they wanted me to check in yet again on the kiosk. I just walked away. Checking in 3 times is ridiculous, not to mention the wait time even though I had a scheduled appointment. Thinking I'll just skip the bloodwork, it's just not worth the hassle right now.
