If we could rate ZERO, this would be our official rating. The service has been horrible. Instead of taking ownership of the chaos caused by the transition from Virginia Mason's portal to CommonSpirit Health, the blame is repeatedly pushed back onto VM rather than addressing the failures within your own system. Calling this a "seamless" transfer of records is embarrassing. Scheduling is chaotic, calls are frequently disconnected, records and appointments are missing, and patients are repeatedly forced to verify codes every single time they log off due to software issues. Even your own customer service representatives cannot properly resolve issues or navigate the system. From the outside, the organization continues to overpromise while underdelivering. Do not market this as seamless, accurate, or problem-free when the reality for patients has been frustration, inefficiency, confusion, and wasted time. If you are forcing hospitals and clinics into your systems after acquisition, then invest in properly fixing the software and training internal staff to assist patients instead of constantly redirecting problems back to Virginia Mason. Patients should not be paying the price for a failed transition. read more

If I could rate a zero, I would. I filled out everything online and scheduled my appointment. I tried to check in at their kiosk, but it wouldn't check me in. I checked in using the link they sent me on my phone. When they called me up, they wanted me to check in yet again on the kiosk. I just walked away. Checking in 3 times is ridiculous, not to mention the wait time even though I had a scheduled appointment. Thinking I'll just skip the bloodwork, it's just not worth the hassle right now. read more

if I could give a negative 10 I would. I walked in the door with what was supposed to be a 10 minute grace period. I had initially called to reschedule because I went to the wrong clinic but the lady on the phone told me that I had 10 minutes and if I make it there by 8:30 I could still go so I walked through those doors at 8:30. The lady at the front desk said you got here at 8:32. These doctors can keep you in the waiting room for 20 minutes. They can be late. It's always OK for them to be late and I don't care what their justification is. But when you are within the grace period and you still can't be seen, they can %#~ themselves. I hate this doctor. I hate this hospital. I will go to another one. I cannot stand these people anymore. Especially doctors don't make it OK for you to be late and not OK for us when we're walking in on the grace period. read more

Called to get some information to see if my 8year old daughter needed to go to the emergency room because her pulse seemed to be to high and a man answered the phone saying that he couldn't help or give me any information since my daughter didn't have a care provider at the location he couldn't say anything. After two visits in less than three months, I suppose I'm as qualified as anyone to review this ER. Both times, there was hardly any wait to get in, the waiting room was pretty dang clean, and you didn't have to cuddle up to anyone oozing infectious excretions (although that option was open if I so chose). I have no idea what the case would be if I were some drunken buffoon but, for me, the staff were friendly and didn't seem put under the pressures of a normal ER staff (Other ER Nurses: "Whats wrong? Severed arm? Take a number and wait in that line... No, not the biohazardous contamination line, the severed limbs line. Someone will be with you sometime..."). I particularly enjoyed, at 3 a.m., getting the lowdown on which bars and 'gentlemans clubs' I might want to stay out of (when they learned I had only been here a week). I suppose it was because of the hour, and the points of origin of their other clientele, that they felt it necessary to impart such advice. I realize that, in an emergency situation, you don't have a choice in which ER to head to but, if you did, I would say go out of your way for this one. It was as enjoyable an ER visit as it is likely to ever get. === For the record, one of the visits was because of my three-year-old, who does three-year-old type things. I try to avoid Dr's if at all possible, just because I'm sure we both have better things to do with our time. read more

I would suggest, if you need an ER late night and close to the weekend, find a less popular ER. If you have the luxury of a few extra minutes, i would go there. Came home one evening and my 1 year old was up with the babysitter, screaming and crying with a big red rash all over his body. His eyes were swollen and he was just plain miserable. He felt warm, so we buckled up to the ER. We got in around 9 and left at 4am. The waiting room wasn't over crowded, so that surprised me, until I realized the amount of people coming in from the police or ambulances. As you can imagine as a parent, i was in tears and the durress my baby was feeling, and it seemed like once you checked in, people behind the counter were hesitant to make eye contact with you.. They seems bothered if you asked if they had an idea of how many more before you, and had no sympathy for the red faced sobbing baby. I mean, even a kind smile or something. Once inside the doctor was very nice , but seemingly hurried. They said his rash didn't look like an allergic reaction, but they gave him benadryl anyways. When he fell asleep they acted like he was now good as new, and discharged us. He was still red faced and swollen. Sigh. I understand its an ER and everyone is in a hurry to make sure everyone gets seen... but for the prices you pay ( premium) to go to the ER, I would think it would have been a bit better. read more

Took my boyfriend to the ER, no one was at the front desk for about 10 minutes, when she arrived at the front desk she didnt even notice paperwork sitting on the counter or myself and one other group sitting in the waiting room. Not cool when my boyfriend is writhing in pain... Our nurse took forever to respond to the calls for more pain medication when stating pain is at level 10, even worse the doctor couldve cared less about his pain...took about 50min to make one phone call to the sister hospital where we would have to have him transferred because this hospital DOESNT HAVE AN MRI MACHINE. read more

How to review an emergency room? I mean, people don't go there because they want to, right? That being said, all of my staff interactions were efficient - maybe not all smiles, but would you rather have a competent nurse/staff/doctor or one who just grins at you? Here's a tip that's good in any service situation - use the name of the person helping you and thank them frequently - you'll be amazed how it can improve your experience, particularly at what would be a trying time at best. read more

I haven't been to an ER for about 10 years ~ I guess I was due, hmm? That being said, it's difficult to write a review on this particular ER without much to compare it too. So, take this with a grain of salt, I suppose. The intake nurses are very friendly and speedy to get you processed. Of course, there was the typical 2 hour wait. But the waiting area is fairly clean with a lot of seating and a few tvs to watch. By the time I made it to an actual exam room, there was the other typical 20 min wait to see the doctor. As I sat there waiting, I was shocked to see the conditions of the room. Various machines and tables held together with gobs of scotch tape? Really? The room was incredibly warm, but luckily the nurse picked up on that and turned it down before we had to ask. In an effort to get my vitals, they hooked me up to the blood pressure machine and heartbeat monitor. Well, the machine wasn't having it. There was an audible leak happening from the hose. Ugh, four tries later and it finally registered. The Dr. was friendly and worked to get through things as quickly as possible. I appreciated that, but that also left me feeling like I didn't have much of a chance to ask questions. I suppose you can't ask much from an ER Dr. that has tons of other things to tend to, so that's ok. But the whole time, I noticed how dated and old all of the tools and equipment were. Even the nurse mentioned a few times how they aren't exactly up to date with current materials. She almost seemed embarrassed. Eeeks. Again, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. A+ for them! I just really wasn't comfortable with the condition of the rooms and equipment. I'm basically writing this because where I live, I had two choices of hospitals to go to. I was told this one was closest and so off we went. But I'm telling you, it might be worth the extra five minutes of driving to get to Lutheran in Wheat Ridge. read more

I had been here years ago before they built the new addition for the ER. I was impressed with it then, but not any longer. I took my mother there based on my previous, positive experience. That was a mistake. The employees were all very friendly, but not very efficient. It seemed to be a series of errors and miscommunication. I can understand having to wait since her injury was not life threatening, but we were there 4.5 hours. They wheeled my mom off for X-rays and said they were going to X-ray both legs. She asked why when only one leg was injured, and they said because the orders said to. About 20 minutes after returning, a nurse approached my mom to take her for X-rays. Then a few minutes later, another nurse wanted to take her for X-rays. Finally, a third nurse came by to confirm they had taken X-rays. After about 3 hours, we were taken to a dirty, spare room. A look into the bathroom showed a stainless steel sink and toilet with no seat, like the kind you see in prisons as portrayed in movies. They were dirty too. A nurse came in to talk to us and determined that the X-rays were not taken of the correct location -- where the injury was. So we had to wait for more X-rays. After much time and 6 X-rays we got to leave. At no time during the visit did a doctor ever see or speak with us. And we were told to see my mom's regular physician for another X-ray if things did not feel better by the weekend because she may have a hairline fracture. Their X-rays could not have determined that? In the end it seemed like a waste of time and money for a diagnosis that may or may not be correct. I will never return to that ER, and I would not recommend it to anybody else. read more

Nurse Caroline was non-responsive. Asked 1 Hr ago for washcloth & cup of water. Grandpa is 95 but we were sent here from Dr office for Lasix & consult at noon, Dr Soria was condescending and certainly did not explain the side effects. Lots of patients so no rooms upstairs we will have to wait, that was at 1630, it is now 1736. I overheard the desk say the Dr has left for the day, and we sit here waiting. John the ccn, is wonderful. It's now 1837 & only John has come to check on us. 1900 and new nurse Amanda? She never did introduce herself. read more

10/06/2017 i've been waiting over 2 weeks for an fmla return to work from my dr. he completed it once but it had errors and it was faxed back to him for corrections. never was corrected. i had to see a different dr to get a return to work release. 10/25/2017 it is now a month later, still no correction to fmla paperwork by the dr. i left a message for the clinic manager to get in touch with me. i watched the receptionist send the message and do you think i've ever heard a peep from anyone ???? do you want to do business with an outfit that operates this way ???? anyone have a good suggestion for a primary care doc ???? UPDATE checked the status of my short-term disability claim today and the insurance company faxed said dr a letter on 10/13/2017 that has yet to be responded to. this is bordering on ridiculous now. read more

Awful. Went here Sunday and waited over an hour in the waiting room. It has a metal detector and a guard for some reason, but they allowed someone to bring a puppy into the hospital... Not a service dog, just a pitbull puppy that was barely old enough to even have its eyes open. So much for rules I guess. Next, I finally got placed in a room. Again, waited over an hour to even be seen. Was not given an IV even though I came there extremely dehydrated. I was told I would be given something for my nausea but waited more than an hour to finally receive 2 small pills. Then I was told to follow up with my primary care dr on Tuesday. Obviously it can't wait until Tuesday if I went to the ER. The staff doesn't seem to care about moving with any kind of urgency and do as little as possible to even attempt to treat your symptoms. After all the time wasted there I would've been better off not even going if I would've known that was all they were going to even do to help me. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone! Went to E.R on June 10th 2013...Waited two hrs before being called back....Had vitals taken from nurse...Went back to waiting room...I had noticed the waiting room had only a few people left waiting...so I thought...ok they are on top of things!!! .Started talking to the lady I sat next to and said" Wow they are top of things today" She corrected me..."No five of the people got sick of waiting and decided they would go to an Urgent Care facility" WOW!!!! Waited about 20 longer and some guy came out and called my name....I was happy the waiting was over!!!! He took me into a little office that had two chairs and a computer....had me sit down and asked me a few questions.. I thought this was the next stop before i got into MY E.R room....NOT!!! This was my E.R room....What a JOKE!!!! I guess I was not special enough to be treated like everyone else!! So anyways....I sat down....he never introduced himself...He looked at my arm where the spider bit me....and I gave him the fang from the spider in a zip lock baggy!!! He says "Oh looks like you got stung by a bee" Last I checked I have no bees living in my bed...but had a spider decide he wanted to spend the night!!! He looks at the fang and says" Yeh def a spider bite".I asked him if any one could look at it under a microscope to see what kind of spider bit me because it was stinging and swelling more....He says "No......Go see your Dr if it gets worse....THE END......I thought maybe I was on one of those hidden camera shows that play jokes.. So he gave me my discharge papers...and off I went....Come to find out I was seen by a practitioner and not a Dr...Would of been nice for this man to tell me he was not a Dr.....Or how about introducing yourself to your patient??!!!! Not feeling like much of a patient.....But when im charged for an Emergency room visit....Im sure then ill be more upset when I see how much I owe them for this so called Emergency Visit....I have never been seen there before this.....nor will I ever return...and thats a FACT!!!!! read more
