I am writing this from a room within the Common Spirit tri-lakes urgent care. I was immediately written off by NP Deb Tota as just having anxiety when she walked in. This was for my complaint of having shortness of breath at night, getting in the way of me being able to sleep, with concerns to it being related to my pregnancy. She didn't even do a physical on me before coming to this assessment. I kept trying to explain to her that I've never experienced this before and she told me in a condescending manner, "well, what do you think you have then?" Idk??? Why do you think I'm coming here, probably to try and figure that out? She left the room and immediately I heard her out in the hallway telling another provider that I "didn't like that she told me it was my anxiety" and I could hear them laughing. I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment I've received here, for them to not even complete a physical before immediately diagnosing me and then proceeding to talk about me like that with others in the hallway. An EKG was eventually done, but not before I felt like I had to advocate for myself to get checked out. I came to this appointment after a nurse on a nurse line recommended I get checked out due to my symptoms. As someone who works in healthcare, I'm appalled by this behavior. Immediately telling a patient that it's just anxiety without even doing any type of assessment, is something I was at least taught by my instructors and fellow providers, to avoid as it's incredibly dismissive and makes it harder for patients to feel as though they are being effectively listened to and cared for when you're straight out telling them that it's just all in their head. This place is incredibly unprofessional. Look for care elsewhere. For the providers at this place, the walls are a lot thinner than you think. read more

Got yelled at for turning in my form to the far right of the counter when someone else was getting a form. When she called me up she refused to touch my pen even though she is holding my clipboard and just handed me my ID's that were in my hands. Very pleasant staff and doctors. I haven't had long waits. They address issues quickly.

They were slow, they had me in less than 3 minutes after I turned in the paperwork. Debra was the PA and she was great. They had to do a blood draw and the male nurse nailed it I mean a pinch by my son hurt worse. He wasn't super talkative but I walked away smiling and they worked quickly and thoroughly. Got me setup for labs and even found a lab the next day. I will be back. read more

Uneducated or lazy is the best way to describe the NP here. Super quick to suggest an ER for a cough! Angrily asked why I would go to Urgent care for my 11 year old. Left there with zero answers, not even a chest listen. read more

At 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, I walked in and no one was at the desk. After waiting a while, I tried calling the phone number for this location but the phone message said to call back during regular business hours. However, based on the operating hours stated in the message, it WAS during operating hours. After over 20 minutes with no employee presence, I called the Broadmoor location. They were nice but said that the Tri-lakes location is closed today. There are NO signs stating they're closed, the front door was unlocked, and the phone system states that they should be open. I am beyond frustrated. This is ridiculous. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE. I was there yesterday for an eye problem. The admitting nurse was very nice but the NP I had to deal with was HORRID. Debra Tota, NP did NOT explain procedures PRIOR to enacting them. She came at my face and eyes without explaining what she was doing. WHILE putting drops in my eye, she said "this might burn". It was like having hot coals dropped into my eye and I flinched back and raised my voice not expecting that amount of pain. She then said, "You shouldn't talk to me like that" ??? Well, how do you expect me to react then ? I should have walked out right then. My discharge papers were then stuffed at me with NO verbal explanation for next steps, home care or use of Rx. ... Mind you, I can't see out of my left eye to read anything. The utter self awareness of some of the staff is appalling and NP Tota's demeanor is unnecessary in working directly with patients. Then to top it all off, my pharmacy didn't have that Rx in stock and NP Tota refused to re-write an alternative. I said I wasn't going to traipse all over creation (I can't drive right now) to find a pharmacy who has it and the person I was speaking to (some other staff) didn't seem to care. I have been in this area for over 16 years, before their building was even built (It was just the Y) and have used their services from time to time. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THEIR PLACE OF BUSINESS EVER AGAIN. Use caution and your own discernment with who you choose for your health care. This place isn't it. read more

What rhymes with truck and means vacuum? The word that describes the 'administrative acumen' of the front desk here. Went in for the flu. Gave them 2 different forms of insurance. Filled out gobs of paperwork, and waited patiently for my turn. Had the flu, confirmed. Got some prescriptions and was on my way. All in all, not bad. Front desk folks were kind this time. That's progress. Two weeks later, in comes the bill from Centura Health. $660. For the flu. Lucky me though, I got a discount for half price. After hours of digging and creating an online account with them, I was able to get to the details of the bill. Apparently I was uninsured. The discount was for 'direct pay' for an uninsured person. I have good insurances too. They were in-network, with both. It's a shame. If you work at a doctors office (a lot of my family has) you really just schedule, bill, and submit stuff to insurance. Maybe you confirm appointments, etc. A few calls later and waits on hold, and two separate people said 'Yeah, I have no idea why it was billed 'uninsured' when you have two sets of insurance' You should be able to put 'can correctly bill insurance for services rendered' in your CV if this is you job. It's what you do. Or in this case...don't If you took your vehicle in for an oil change and the guy didn't remember to put oil back in....he could totally work here. Avoid. Trust me. read more

Comically terrible. Waiting room was empty yet we waited 30 minutes to learn that there was not even a doctor on staff. The lady at the front desk was very defensive and unpleasant. definitely not warm and hospitable. Do not go here if you want to feel better.... PA was completely unprofessional and couldn't stop giggling at symptoms before saying that she couldn't even help us. We will have inside jokes about this experience for years to come. read more

We will never go here again. Be warned!! I brought my kid to this place for a simple kid issue like ear infection or something about 8 months ago. I never received a bill from the urgent care and to be honest completely forgot that we went. We spent almost 2-3 hours there for this simple kid thing and I wanted to forget the place. Well, last week I got a notice from my credit monitoring company that there's something new on my credit report and my credit score dropped almost 75 points. A day later, I get a call from a debt collection agency saying that I owe $480 to this Centura Health urgent care. I told them I never received a bill and we figure out the zip code on my account is wrong. Instead of our's, it is the zip code of the Urgent Care place on my account! Nor did I ever receive a call saying they got returned mail. So, I updated my zip code with both the Collection Agency and CenturaHealth. I requested the Collector to send me an itemized bill. A week later I still don't have a bill and the Collection agency is calling again. She said that she would put my account on hold for two weeks because the Collection Agency can't send me an itemized bill, it has to be requested from the original company and mailed out. Two weeks later I STILL don't have an itemized bill, so I call the billing office of this place, which has a ridiculous automated prompt system. I follow the prompts as directed, ended up talking to three different people because "they can't help me" because my account is at the Collection Agency. Finally the third person puts me on hold for ten minutes. When he comes back on the line he says I am correct, they had an issue with the wrong zip code on my account and that they only sent ONE statement out with no further attempts before sending it to the "bad debt" department. Not one of the CenturaHealth employees I spoke with EVER apologized for this situation when I was on the phone with them. Even after he acknowledged that they only sent one bill and it's not my fault, not even an I'm sorry this situation occurred or an apology of any kind. I'm pretty sure the process in how they handled my account is illegal and now I have to figure out how to get my credit back to proper standing. What if I had been in the middle of buying a house and this happened?? Because of their negligence and lack of customer service/follow up to simply call and ask for my correct address (because they had my phone number), I could missed my dream home! You are messing with people's lives. I would love to see the piece of paper I filled out with the wrong zip code! They probably could have just looked at the check in form when from our visit to get my correct zip code. Pure laziness! Came in for foot pain after it getting crushed. Waited 20 min in waiting room... got vitals... 20-30 min waiting for doctor... xrays... waiting... nothing is wrong with it. The doctor was rude and didn't ask any anything. Looked at the foot "oh it's bruised pretty bad let's get xrays". Paid for the appointment and xrays just to tell me there is a bruise. Did not even glance over the fact it could've been sprained. Waste of time and money. It has been 2 weeks since the incident and I am still bruised and swollen. I can not walk on. Went in for upper respiratory / fever symptoms. Was given a 10 day prescription for Penicillin which was fine but when I asked for a shot to make u feel better ( steroid shot) which I was given for same issue last year I was denied. I could have waited 10 days , and not went to the doc. Whole reason was to get better enough to go to work that night. Should have waited for my primary care doc. Really just felt like the urgent care doc just didn't care what I had to say. Anyway it's the last time I go there. Other then her the rest of the staff was friendly , and helpful. read more

Horrible service. Wait times are terrible! There is a new nurse practitioner or doctor every week. Billing customer service is bad. They are just money hungry and could care less about the patients. They don't even look at your chart and try to up-sell you. Would NOT recommend them. read more

Iv been to many urgent cares in Colorado and California and I have never been turned away or told they can not help me till now. I took my daughter to the Urgent care on Wadsworth and 285 for a sprained shoulder. She is autistic and doesnt have insurance. We were the only ones in the facility. We were told that the visit would be probably no more than 300 but that we would get a radiology bill for the x-ray. The doctor came in, spent about 2 minutes with us and ordered an x-ray. Took one film and said it was sprained and to keep it in a sling. He spent about 5 minutes with us. Never gave us a sling, never showed me the xray, no pain meds, NOTHING. I had to ask the MA to show me the films. Im an xray tech and can read them. I had to ask her for a sling as well. He never mentioned that to her either. Needless to say as we left we had to pay $485.00. Then we got a bill for the x-ray, $35.00, then we received a bill from the doctor for $780.00...........WHAT THE HELL. After being totally pissed off about these additional charges, that we were never told about, I get another bill today for $35.00 for the fucking sling. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. ALL OF CENTURA IS. BEWARE. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR INSTEAD OF ONE OF THESE RIP OFF CLINICS. read more

After feeling that I had probably more than a cold, I decided to check this urgent care out. I'm happy I did. This place is very clean, well run, everyone here is very kind. I saw PA Rob Scott who diagnosed me with the flu strain b. I was given scripts for an inhaler that helped my chest congestion, Tamiflu that helps cut the lifespan of the flu, and a prescription cough medicine that helps at night. Two nights later and I feel 50% better already! This will be my go to urgent care from now on so happy I found them. read more

In the few experiences I've had at other urgent care centers, this was by far the best experience. The center is very nice and clean. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful, got the paperwork done in less than 10 minutes. We waited maybe another 10-15 minutes to get called back, and was initially treated by a friendly and proactive RN, who did everything from take my temp/blood pressure to testing me for strep. We waited 15 minutes for strep test and doc came in with results. She was also very friendly and offered me several suggestions to help me feel better given I am pregnant and am limited in the medications I can take. She also gave me a script to treat my throat pain for something I've never been offered by any of my past general practitioners. In and out in about an hour! That has never happened to me before! My daughter didn't feel well and I learned she had possibly been exposed to Mono. Called her doctor and they had an appointment to bring her in the next day...they would check for strep before pursuing mono. As the day went on her temp went up to 103 and head really hurt. Decided to take her on to Tri-Lakes Urgent Care to get strep test so that if it was positive we could get script started sooner. Went in an hour before they closed...no waiting/no rush. However after checking her in and getting vitals, the PA came and quickly jumped to the conclusion that it could be meningitis due to the bad headache and a stiff neck. The exam stopped abruptly and they gave her a mask and said go to the ER at Penrose St. Francis (interesting that the two facilities are associated with each other.) I understand these are symptoms of meningitis and they want to be careful. However, we don't want to go running to the ER and be out that cost without reasonable cause...they did nothing more than go off of a teen's complaint about headache/neck. I called our doctor's office again and talked to the after hours nurse. She actually talked to my daughter and after a series of questions, told me that she did not feel like we needed to go to the ER and that if it were meningitis my daughter's symptoms would be much worse. She told me to give my daughter a pain reliever and come on in the next day. Talking to our doctor the next day and telling him about our experience the night before, he chuckled and said "you can tell immediately by just looking at her that she does not have meningitis." Turned out to be a virus that just had to run it's course...no strep, no mono, and definitely no meningitis. Our doctor didn't even address the meningitis other than to say definitely not that. Glad I didn't spend time and money on the ER! Mad, when I (and my insurance) was charged for a Urgent Care visit where we were rushed out because they so quickly jumped to conclusion without reasonable cause. Noticed poor ratings and negative reviews...should have heeded the warnings. Can't help but wonder if this was just a way to get our money but not have to do anything or just a way to get us out the door so they could go home. I truly hope not. I would not recommend this practice. I saw Dr. Gadeliya in October and was told to have my blood retested in one month. I had to call back a total of four times before my lab request was sent to LabCorp. I only received a call back after I called and left a message with the office manager. Two weeks after my blood was retested I still have not heard back about my results. I had the tests done again at the doctor's request and I am very disappointed that I have not heard from her or any member of her team. I left a voicemail with her assistant and have not received a call back. Although I have been able to view the report online I am not a physician and cannot interpret the results ( the results were complete the day after I tested). I saw Dr. Gadeliya in an attempt to find the cause of my chronic fatigue and pain, I believe the cause may be determined through those tests. Unfortunately I will have to establish a new relationship with another doctor to interpret these results...pretty disappointing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY!!! read more
