Love, love, LOVE Jessie! I used to hop around finding the right hairdresser, but now that I've found her I won't be going anywhere else. I used to hate getting my hair done because of how long it takes and some hairdressers not listening to my requests, but I've never had that problem with Jessie. She listens to what you want and she does everything to make it happen. I've had 2 balayage sessions with haircuts and her work is AMAZING! I love how she explains the process and answers any questions I have about the products going into my hair or what I need to do to maintain it. So im on a last minute search for a cut and it's not looking to well! So a friend recommends Jeremy! After a quick call i get an appointment and end up finding out this is a by appointment business. Also if I remember correctly you can check for openings online, convenient i would say. Its location is all vibes kinda like a Claremont, West LA mash up. Cool art, drinks on the go, vintage comfortable chairs ( i like those) and honestly their customer interaction is on point! Great experience! I'm use to scissor cuts and i am rating this cut experience on the barber aspect. I am unsure if they do all the cut with scissors but next time I'll ask. A review long overdue but got to give credit where it's due. Jeremy is the go to guy here. Been getting my cuts with him for quite some time, 5 years to be exact, and he never disappoints with the cuts and always has me leaving feeling and looking great. There were times where I had to go to other shops cause of my commute to work would make it hard for me get set up with him but never again. I never liked the idea of gambling on who and where should I cut my hair and will it be good. Jeremy always looks out for my best interest, especially when I think about changing my style and he would give suggestions on what would help and what would work. I've been following Jessica for a few years from salon to salon and now that she has her own salon with her husband Kris (an excellent barber), it's been well deserved. I speak highly of her not just because I've known her for years but because she is literally the only person I trust with my hair. I've seen many different people with my hair but for the last few years I have solely only seen her. She is diligent, she only does what she believes is the benefit of the client, she will tell you exactly what to expect and be honest about it and she will also try to do what your heart desires within reason of your best interest and integrity of your hair. She has never ever given me a bad haircut and I've had her change my hair cut several times. She has never given me a color that wasn't what I wanted whether it was easy to obtain in one session or a few. She's got me bright blonde before, ginger and now dark brown and maintained my hair every month, for years. I have never ever left her after an appt feeling upset about the finished product or like I didn't fully get what I was looking for from it. You can tell she takes her job seriously because she is careful the entire time making sure your happy with everything she is doing and every time she cuts my hair she does a little and asks me how I feel about it and continues to make sure she's not cutting too much and many other stylists go full fledged and assume what you want when cutting your hair after a few seconds of discussing it. Also she can hold a conversation the entire time while doing your hair without messing up which I find hard to find in other stylists without them either cutting too much or putting too much dye on my sides of my hairline or getting carried away. I cannot say enough good about her. She is consistent with every client. I have watched her work on other clients while I was waiting for my hair to process many times and she is the same friendly professional person to every client, not just me or her clients she's had for years. She is the same good stylist to every person she works on and I have watched that myself several times over the years. Jessica has also never pushed product on me and made me feel like I have to buy it. She knows what I like and offers to get it for me or presents it to me and let's me know it's available if I want it but she is not a crazy salesman trying to get some sales for her own sake. Also my husband gets his hair done by Kris and has been for about a year and will not go to anyone else either. Kris has a great demeanor to him and has always pleased my husband and exceeded his expectations of his hair every single time. If there was ever a power couple it would be these two. You may have to wait a few weeks for a first appt if your not an existing client but I promise you the experience and expertise is worth it. I PROMISE YOU. read more
