very nice peoples they are very helpful it they treat you as a friend food is very good

I am writing this review to let you know that I was at the 1:00 pm Bingo game on Sunday August 16th. I want to let you know how embarrassed and humiliated and defamed at Community Bingo in Manchester by the incompetent, childish, unprofessional, and definitely uneducated woman that was working the cashier desk in the kitchen.  And please look at the cameras. My husband and I walked in about 15 minutes before the games started, went to get our bingo cards, then went to order a "well done" cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mayo, mustard and a side of French fries. My husband ordered a hotdog and French fries. I had only a $10 dollar bill but the burger and fries were $14, the woman said just bring the 4 dollars back to me, I said thank you and proceeded back to my table,  When I got to my table to play bingo (mind you I spend over $100 on bingo cards)  I took one bite of the cheeseburger and saw "red meat". I politely returned with my whole tray in hand and said to the man that cooked the food "I cannot eat this because it's not well done like I ordered, he was very kind removed the patty from the bun placed it back on the grill and said I will give you another slice of cheese, I asked for him to replace the bun. He then said ok and I will give you fresh fries. There was no issue with the fries, but I would prefer to have my fries with my burger. I then ask where was the cashier so I could give her back the 4 dollars that I owed for my meal, he said she will be back in a few, she went to have a cigarette, just sit it by the register, and I will tell her you brought the $4 back. At this time bingo was starting, I asked him when should I come back, he said where are you sitting and I told him in the back room where the slots are, he said I will bring it to you. Which he did bring the burger, however he did not bring my fries. (again please see the cameras). The 1st game was cover all with 2 wild numbers 9 and 2. I saw one of the ladies that was selling pull tabs and aske her if she could do me a favor, and please let the man know in the kitchen that he forgot my fries. As I was in the middle of trying to dab my numbers.   Out of nowhere the woman cashier stomped over to my table and obnoxiously says "first of all anything that has to do with the kitchen has nothing to do with the women selling pull tabs, then she proceeds in front of all the bingo guests to tell me that I ate the fries and never retuned them. I replied I did return them, and she said you ate them, I then said to her "are you sure" and she said yes. I then said you were not even in the kitchen when I returned the burger and was told that I was getting fresh fries. She then says " we can go look at the camera, at this point I'm pissed, still holding my composure I follow her as she fast walks to the kitchen. We get to the kitchen and then the man who took my burger and fries back, says I'm not going to look in the garbage to see, I then say well I'll look. The cashier tells me I can't go behind the counter which is understandable, but I didn't pay $14 for a dam burger and fries, to not get my fries. The man was like just give it to her like I didn't pay for them. I said to the cashier you just went out there in the bingo hall and made an accusation of me eating some dam fries, after I told you I returned them, and again you were not there.  At that point I said I don't even want the fries, the man says you can give them to your friends at the table, Yes my friends that were here from Pennsylvania celebrating their wedding anniversary, and all they wanted to do was play bingo. I walked away and went back to my table. The man comes to my table and drops the fries and then walked off.   Going back to the pull tab lady that I asked to inform him that he forgot my fries, I stopped another pull tab lady thinking it was the same one that I had asked but it wasn't. And again this cashier walks back out to the table I am at, and again say the pull tab workers have nothing to do with the kitchen, I then tell her I was apologizing to the pull tab lady for asking her to inform the cook about my fries, but again the incompetent assumed, and that's exactly what I told her you are assuming, and we all know what happens when you assume things, yes she made an ass out of herself yet again. But that wasn't enough for her, she came back and started walking around the table I was at yelling "anything about the kitchen I don't care" I really don't know what her problem is, but I definitely know she has one as one of the pull tabs lady apologized and said its not you its her. I have never been treated this way ever. I'm seriously wanting to pursue charges. Someone needs to make this right I don't know if her issue is that I am a 51 year old woman of color and I work customer service also, She has no type of customer service skills at all. I would have asked for my money back because I didn't eat none of the food (check your cameras). read more

Well run and place is clean. People running it are very friendly and so are the players. A fun time out

If not familiar with new set ups.. It is really confusing during play. They play numbers of pull tabs in-between. I missed door prize numbers etc. Too many things at once. I prefer bingo hall without 100s pull tickets being sold opened same time. read more

Very nice people to greet you and sell the Bingo cards and computers. Awesome people walking around selling pull-tabs and helping out. SO kind! We were new and our second time with my 89 yo dad! Awesome extensive food available. Great pay-outs. The downside was when I missed a $7K pay-out game and was so disappointed. I told the people running the games at the end and they were very defensive and did not consider my feedback or experience at all! they could have been open to a newcomer, considered my NEWBIE experience and be welcoming and be kind and apologetic about it. Made me feel really yucky about it after spending $300 dollars + that night without any wins either. We had a lot of fun until that ending. I'm going to wait a while until we consider going again. read more

My best friend and I were there on July 10th and saw the person who runs the bingo hall go over to a regular player and watched her pull an admission ticket for a hot seat prize and because it wasn't the color of her ticket she let her put it back in the bucket until she pulled out an admission ticket that was her color ...now if that isn't cheating than I don't know what is...we were not the only ones who noticed this read more

We had so much fun. It was our first time so some of the games were a bit confusing. But we're going back.

They are all about pull tabs. I feel they added some bingo games just to get ppl there to play their pull tabs. I mean if you like pull tabs then go for it but you won't see me there again. read more

I didn't know that if you worked the bingo hall on different nights you could play bingo in the same hall I have come 2 Sundays in a row to see the same person win the coverall a person that works here I have seen different people who work here win can they really be that lucky and I overheard one guy who works here say I was to win that cover all by myself I'm trying to figure out if there is a way they can hack the computers I came here before the pandemic and complained about the workers winning and just started coming back and it's the same thing over again. Also people selling tickets let their friends know if some winning tickets are already sold. Not coming back going to go to Hudson NH where they don't use computers so they can't cheat read more

Went to Bingo here for the first time last night. My friend and I were spotted as newbies immediately and were assisted right away. Love the idea of bringing our own snacks and drinks, but we forgot on the way but the prices of food was reasonable and it tasted good. I went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty empty inside not really packed at all. They set up a small raffle with 3 baskets and if you go and participate TRUST ME you want to buy the arms length portion. Overall I had a wonderful time, and the atmosphere here was great and everyone including other players is very friendly. read more

I really like the bingo here. The only down fall is it is very noisy. People holding loud conversations the whole time games are playing. Telephones ringing, people holding phone conversations. With all the back round noise it's difficult to always here the announcements and or the caller clearly read more

Where do I begin. I won a bingo here and was refused payment because I only raised my hand in front of the staff and didn't yell bingo. I was behind a giant podium so I guess that don't look there. The bingo board is difficult to read when your sitting in certain places in the hall. The kitchen staff is awful, there is a man who cooks your food who is always very angry and mean to everyone. There is a smoking room, but no double doors to keep it in there, the smoke comes pouring into the non smoking and it's disgusting. Hard to breath and you'll go home with your hair and clothes reeking of smoke. I'm done coming here. This is not a welcoming pave to play bingo. I love the community bingo center! The volunteers and people who work here are very friendly and are happy to see you win. Usually the games pay well and often they try to change things up with raffles, giving away tablets, gift cards etc. The only two negative things I would mention is that the smoke is definitely a problem and that the grill inside the bingo hall isn't very good. Most of the food is frozen and quite bland or bought from a store bakery and overpriced. Also, the man running it is very rude and yelled at my mother because she knocked something over. However I will most definitely continue attending bingo here! read more
