Came here towards the end of the summer because my friends were in town for a visit and we decided to visit a couple of locations in New Hampshire. Black Hills winery it was one of those stops on our trip. That location is easy to locate and is accessible from the highway. We got a Groupon coupon for our visit a two for one. There was ample parking and we got there early which was great because people started showing up in the parking lot was filling up. We did the tour which was I believe almost an hour they showed us a distillery, the winery their equipment and went to the wind groves for the history and the descriptions of the grapes. They took us out to the lakes as well as their cabins. The cabins are used for special events such as weddings which they were having one that day. After the wine tour we had our winetasting we tried different flights of wine with hors d'oeuvres. The customer service was excellent the outdoor dining and winetasting was wonderful .....to be able to sit outside and take in the beauty of the wine groves as well as the beautiful outdoors was a great way to have a wine tasting

Flagged as a must try!! What a great stop while on a road trip. The tastings were all so good that it was difficult to choose what to purchase at the end ! We generally favor sprits, but we definitely enjoyed the red wines they offered. Not too sweet and perfectly smooth. The vodka, gin, and liqueurs were stand outs for sure for us (honorable mentions for the rum and whiskey too). So smooth, and truly enjoyable to the palette. We had the cheese plate to accompany our tasing ,and it was perfect. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. An all around enjoyable experience!

We absolutely love going here. We've gone so much one of the servers knows us. But you can't beat the 5 for $10 tasting with a mix of wine and spirits! Always so good, and the patio is great for a warm day and wine tasting.

Thanks to the NH Jingle Bells Winery Tour my wife and I got to enjoy this wonderful place. With our purchase of the winery tour tickets we got to select 5 tastings from both wine and spirits. We where served a delicious hot appetizer. This place made you feel welcome. Fun stop, would definitely return for sure.

There are not enough words to describe our amazing experience with Flag Hill. We originally had booked another venue, and after months of little to no communication, we decided to move on. THANK GOODNESS we did! Christa, Maddy, and Candace are one well-oiled machine of a team! I was scared to switch venues, but the minute I met with them, I knew it was a great decision. Before the wedding, they had everything very organized on their online portal, answered all my questions, and ensured we had everything we needed. The day before the wedding, they walked us through everything, check-in with us to make sure they knew exactly how we wanted things set up, and made us feel extremely comfortable and confident our wedding would go off without a hitch. Day of the wedding they were on top of everything! Things I didn't even think of, they took care of. Everything was set up perfectly. They made the day seamless, always knowing where to be and when. They helped us through every step of the way while also staying out of the way. I was warned multiple times that something always goes wrong at a wedding and to be prepared, but that is not true when you're at flag hill. The team there was ready for everything, and we did not run into a single problem all day, it was perfect! I can not recommend Flag Hill enough, and I am so happy to be able to return there for wine tastings and chef dinners and always remember what a special place it holds in my heart.

Flag Hill hosted my wedding Oct 23, 2020 and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. They were extremely flexible given the COVID situation and were able to work with us given a smaller guest count and some special requests. The coordinators were extremely responsive and able to answer any major questions up until the day. I did not have to worry about the venue at all the day of.... The coordinator Sarah helped to keep the event on schedule given our long photo session and made sure everything happened on time. She even helped sneak in an unplanned ice cream "ceremony" with my husband and I! The food was fantastic, we had the BBQ buffet, the pulled pork being the best! And Flag Hill was able to accommodate a dairy-free vegetarian meal. The foliage during October was perfect and the rows of grapes made for an extra-special experience. Make sure to pay a little extra for the tent heaters and the fire pit, they are ABSOLUTELY worth it!!! Overall, Flag Hill exceeded expectations and I would recommend to anyone looking for an interesting wedding venue.

Went here on the way back home from the coast. My family has been there a couple times but it was my first trip! I got just a glass of wine not a whole flight. My wine was exactly what I wanted!

This was a quick stop on the way up to Jackson and both my boyfriend and I were so happy we did ! The vineyard takes reservations as to limit the crowds during COVID which made me feel much safer. You get 5 tastings from their selections of wine and whiskeys which is only $5 for the flight! As a New Yorker, I honestly thought they meant 5 bucks for a glass in the flight and thought oh well that seems reasonable. I almost passed when they cashed me out and only charged me 10 bucks for both sets of flights. The vineyard itself is beautiful and made for a nice relaxing afternoon. Thank you guys for your hospitality !

I will most definitely be back every season! This is my first winery experience so I may not have all the answers but the wine here is exceptional! It tastes amazingly fresh and crisp. The ambience was very calm and casual, I wish there was a little music but once the drinks are flowing you kinda just takeoff in conversation. So anyway we had 5 choices of wine each for $5 and the charcuterie was between $10-$15 also very delicious. We enjoyed that very much. We were only allowed one round of tasters then we had to order from the menu. I got frozé which was very yummy. We were able to take the drinks outside where you'll find the vineyard, a chicken coop and some piggies. It was very romantic and intimate for a great price. I can't wait to come back when the flowers start to bloom.

Flag Hill was such a great venue for our wedding! Christa and the team there were amazing to work with throughout the whole process (from planning prior to our big day, coordinating the big day, and staying in touch after the event) - we really couldn't be happier. Everyone we encountered at Flag Hill was great to work with (very organized and professional) and they made every aspect of our big day fun. In addition to the stunning venue the food was amazing. They were a joy to work with and we would absolutely recommend them - don't make the mistake of not having your big day here!

I wanted something more personal, and affordable. Finally found 'Discover Tuscany'. Christina immediately started helping me with this. She works with Guido (our tour guide). Everything was arranged for him to pick us up at our hotel, and have the whole day planned for us. Christina helped us with our train schedule (we visited 3 cities), and also booked our hotel in Florence. This part of our trip was Absolutely perfect thanks to her. She worked hard and accommodated to our schedule and requests patiently and successfully. We arrived at Residenza Johlea (hotel Christina recommended and booked) and it was one of my favorite hotels in the 2 weeks I was in Europe. For our wine tour, Guido was right on time, very friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. He asked what exactly I was expecting from the tour, and with my input, even though he had the day planned, he changed it seeing that other things might be more to my liking after talking to me personally. He made a couple of calls and took us to 2 Brunello wineries. Must say, this is now one of my favorite wines. Not only was the wine amazing but the people too. We got a tour of Costanti where we tasted 4 of their Brunello wines and got a tour of their winery, while learning about the region, the wine, and it's process. Next, we went to a small, family owned winery, winner of last year's best wine in a blind tasting and found only over there.. This was a really nice experience, we met the owner and wine maker Valter Nanetti, very nice man. Met his wife and grand kids, plus we were able to handpick fruits from their garden - delicious! After this, and extra to the tour I had envisioned, we had a cheese tasting. Fresh, smelly, so good. Lunch came next, and a little tour of the city. Before I left, I really wanted to see sunflowers. They weren't in season yet but Guido drove and drove until he found them for me. This was not part of the tour but, I know Christina had told him this was one of my "must do" in Italy, and with me telling him too, he just went for it. I can't say how much I appreciated this and his great attitude throughout the whole tour. When I get another opportunity to travel like this, I'm contacting Christina again to help me plan it. She's a great person to keep in mind, she's a travel agent with great hotel contacts and tours. If in Italy, ask her about Guido, he offers tours all over the country, not just wine. Believe me, you'll have a great vacation and learn at the same time.

We arrived in Rome only to find our luggage did not. Despite the extra time we needed to file a claim for our bags, our driver Roberto waited patiently for 2 hours until we were ready. He was fantastic. The next day is when we met Guido and our trip instantly got better. He toured us around Florence, stopping by local shops for wine, snacks and espresso. He made us feel welcome, made us laugh, and most importantly, made us forget that we didn't have any clothes. We were with Guido for 3 days in Florence where he took us to 3 amazing vineyards, helped us plan our meals, and on the final day he took us to the airport to reclaim our belongings. I cannot overstate what a great pleasure it was to spend time with him. Christina helped us with the next part of our trip by arranging transfers from Naples to Positano, scheduling a top-notch cooking class, and planning a boat tour of the coast. This is a first-class operation that we will surely be using again for future trips to Europe. Thank you Christina, Guido, Roberto and Giovanni for making our trip to Italy an unforgettable experience.

While Smuttynose doesn't have a cat (that I'm aware of), we were pleasantly surprised to meet the resident good boy, a black lab named Willy! What a treat. He is so friendly and freely roams the bar and beer garden. Cute pup aside, I love their facility. The outdoor area hosts a variety of seating options, including my personal favorite: adirondack chairs. This place would be an ultimate summer hang if I lived closer! You don't even have to go inside to order a beer - just walk up to the order window. I tasted their fall offers: Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale. I thoroughly enjoyed both, even purchasing a variety pack to trek home with me that included both the Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale. Their flagshop brown ale is called Old Brown Dog, and when we visited, they had a stronger version on tap - Very Old Brown Dog.
