Don't go to Community messed my son's eyes up and been going back and forth to Buffalo to try to repair what they did. Today my wife and I had free exams and they said all covered no copay ,go to leave and they say we both owe money when United Health even said it was free same with my son. It's so bad I don't know where to start,the quality of work was not what's to be expected when working with something as valuable as ones eye sight,the doctor said he would call in two prescriptions and when we arrived at the pharmacy they had nothing called in then had to suffer all weekend with no one would answer the phone finally Monday someone answers the phone then hangs up,there has to be conciqences for this kind of behavior especially dealing with vulnerable people that trust you with their eye sight and to avoid them and buy their own laziness and lack of professionalism,I would look elsewhere before trusting Dr Froebel and Woubolt,their facility definitely lacks leadership and I'm not sure the ones in charge hold the integrity. read more

I would rate ZERO if I could. For their Shady billing practices. I was told I owed FULL AMOUNT OF $200 when I made appt, when they confirmed appt, and at the appt, which I PAID. Now, 3 months later, I get a bill for $93.03. I called and was told it was for "additional testing" which includes separate charges for them to enter info from my paperwork in their system. The billing rep states it was a mis-speak. They are "working on getting the office staff to use the word "estimate. " There's a big difference between the word estimate and flat-out telling the pt "FULL AMOUNT"!!! Three months later, I am unemployed, uninsured, and have to skip buying medicine to pay this fraudulent bill. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A SURPRISE BILL MO THS LATER! read more

If I could give 0 I would. Lied to me about how thin my lenses would be. Showed me the paperwork 2x that showed roll and polish but charged me for poly carbonate, but did not get that. Very unprofessional and have no clue what they are doing. Took my prescription to Walmart of all places and actually got the thin lenses I requested. Refusing to refund me the $94 for their mistake and saying they didn't mess up. Even after returning the glasses to them. Will be filing report with my insurance company. I was a bit worried based on reviews, but the assistant and eye doctor Wiche were very friendly, helpful, kind, professional, thorough, and prompt. I don't know why they've been reviewed so poorly unless maybe they failed to pay someone to give positive reviews? I've not been paid or compensated in any manner for my positive thoughts. I read the reviews on yelp and Google and thought "jeez, brace yourself" but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, the lady who does optics had no issue handing me what my prescription was. She made a copy of my script as soon as I asked for it, prior to my ordering glasses from them, that my insurance covered in full. Short wait, positive and professional staff, clean place. Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. The only one who tried to correct the mistakes was the optical leader Amanda. I have waited almost two months now for my glasses to be corrected. First i bought frames and lenses and the frames were lost. Then i received the wrong lenses for my new frames. After that i received my new lenses and frames but did not get the lenses i paid for. When i proceeded to call and ask if the new order was submitted for the proper frames the lady on the phone got very cocky. I would not recommend tgis place unless you absolutely are in need of eye care but be prepared to have your order messed up for 2 months and rude people. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. They completely messed up my glasses prescriptions and then claimed I and my wife misheard the doctor. The office manager insinuated that my wife and I were both lying. Refused me a refund or even a store credit but said they'd remake my lens for readers. Who wants a $300 pair of Oakley readers. To top it all off she said you signed the paperwork which I obviously did but I can't read without my contacts which I took out and threw away for the exam. Who'd have thought you would need to worry about the eye doctor not placing on the prescription what you were told you'd be receiving. I wish I had read the reviews before we started coming there. Unfortunately they have lost a family of customers. I as have many other reviewers have stated will be contacting my insurance company to see what recourse I have and to also file a complaint about their business practices. read more

I have had nothing but trouble dealing with this place. They always have an excuse as to why nothing is getting done. What is the reasoning that it took 3 months for my boyfriend to get his glasses, I had a replacement that I for back that still had the dog teeth marks in the lens, and my epileptic son waiting weeks and weeks for his glasses, after being given attitude that I needed to order more contacts. Which brings me to another hole question in itself. If I am paying out of pocket for contacts whose business is it if I need to order them every single month. My son is 16 and he is having a problem ripping his contacts when he takes them out and I asked them if I could please order daily contacts for him and I was told no he just needs some education on how to take them in and out. Yet again not your business I am paying for them with my own money so you order what I ask. Last week when I went in there to see if my sons glasses were in the worker gave me a complete attitude that ended in me yelling at her telling her that I am the patient and that she has no right treating me with the disrespect she was treating me with. I asked them for myself, my boyfriend, and both of my boys prescriptions and we will never step foot back in that place. read more
