Horrible patient care from the receptionist to the doctor. The doctor doesn't even bother to look at my shoulder to even touch it or to even see where it is in pain. Receptionist are extremely rude very unprofessional. They have side conversations with each other right in front of you while you're waiting in line to be helped not professional at all for a doctors office . They reschedule my appointment more than once for different departments. They make it for a month out when I have been telling them, I'm in chronic pain then she writes a message online saying that she let me know because I'm a new patient that is false. She never said that. Because if she said that, what was the point of her hanging up the phone with me and checking other community Medical Center's when she should've seen in the beginning that I was a new patient. From the moment I walked through the door, the experience was unpleasant. The receptionists were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the visit. There was no warmth, no professionalism, and no sense that patients were valued. Unfortunately, it didn't improve once I saw the medical staff. The doctors came across as dismissive and uninterested, making me feel like just another number rather than a person seeking care. There was also a complete lack of discretion conversations that should have been private were handled carelessly, which is especially concerning in a medical setting. I went to the Dorothy L Jones clinic today and saw Marie Georges and she was the rudest provider I have ever seen there. My home clinic couldn't get me a sick visit so I was sent to her. The staff there are very nice- they are not the problem. She yelled at me why would you come here sick? I have no insurance and literally can't afford much of anything. She didn't want me in her office - she said I could be contagious. I went in with a mask, and they knew all my symptoms before the appointment. I'm so sick right now, and even though she said I'm probably contagious (and didn't want me in her office) she said I should go back to work in the morning. She didn't test not test me for the flu or anything. I literally went for nothing. I have been to several other cmc clinics and never been treated so horrible. I left with no resolution. read more

I recently came to CMC for a dental appointment. I got my teeth cleaned by a hygienist. The appointment went better than expected. This review is for nurse practitioner Gurdeep Mann and nurse Andrea DeLeon. I was having a horrible day. The day prior I had hurt my elbow really bad and believe I fractured it. I made an appointment the next morning with CMC Manteca to get orders for an X-ray. Not even an hour after scheduling my appointment my 4 year old was knocked down in a jumpy house water slide and ended up in the hospital with a fractured clavicle. I unfortunately walked into my appt dealing with his doctors over the phone. The staff was so understanding and allowed me to take the call. I later apologized and explained why I had to take that call and told her about my son's fractured clavicle and how stressed I was because we were sent home with nothing for him, not even a sling. The nurse practitioner came in to examine me and was very friendly and prompt. He left to get my orders and walked back in with a sling for my son. When I tell you I felt all the feels, I'm surprised I didn't start sobbing right then and there. Not only did he take care of my physical needs but both Andrea and Gurdeep took a huge mental load off me by going above and beyond for my son and I. I'm eternally grateful and impacted by this office and staff and would recommend them to any and everyone. read more

As someone says in the reviews, one star is not enough.. In fact a place like this gives one the though that there should be ratings starting with MINUS through zero through positive. The first thing I want to state is the bottom line: My father in law (who's PCP is from this center) passed away April 6 2023.. We are in mid May. Irrespective of whether I am supposed to inform the clinic, we have NEVER had the PCP call in asking his health, or being diligent on follow up appointments etc.. I doubt the PCP even knows the event; the connectivity of medical databases and that this person is his PCP (so shouldn't have HIPAA issues) - all this would make one think that they (should) know. We came to Manteca (from Union City, Alameda County) in May 2022.. Through back and forth we finally had them on Health Plan of San Joaquin in something like August 2022. Between then and when he died, we got in JUST ONE VISIT with the PCP. My father in law was hospitalized starting with emergency (911) situations since December through two major visits until April (when he died) and NOT ONCE did the PCP enquire... I am not sure if the PCP are within their rights not to be involved with emergencies like this, but personally THIS SUCKS BIG TIME!!! read more

Marie Georges has very outdated medical theory's. When she found out I was a runner she informed me that I should switch to walking because running could make my uterus fall out. I have been taking ferrous sulfate for 15 years due to severe anemia. Since the iron level on my blood test was normal she informed me that I no longer needed it. When I questioned her about this she dismissed me. My next blood test was very low iron again. I take medication for epilepsy. the level was 0.01 below therapeutic level. She Tripled my medication dose that I have been on for 20+ years. My next blood test showed ALERT over therapeutic dose. I was feeling very bad side effects from phenytoin overdose. I tapered myself down down waiting for her to call about my results. that was over two weeks ago. Not a good Doctor. She should retire. read more

I have a lot to say, I'll start off with this woman, Dr. Margie George should not practice medicine and practice patient care in this facility or in any facility. She does not offer the best experience for your care. Now how do I know this? I have been going back and forth from Tracy to Manteca to get one paper signed for my nursing clinical. Anyone trying to get a paper signed for school or work, I beg you DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. She will make you go in circles, she will DEMAND, you get blood work done even though it does not REQUIRE you to do so. She will not sign anything until she, the doctor, using a bias opinion, will decide if it's fine to sign. Now my experience with this doctor was horrible. My physical and tb screening was done by her and not done properly, I mentioned my ear canal was hurting and she didn't even look at that area and mentioned it could be allergies. I waited two hours to see her and then the next time I came for my tb screening and she made me wait another two hours in the waiting room and another hour in my room. When she arrived she didn't have the paper signed because she demanded I go get my blood work done when I repeatedly told her 100 times that my school doesn't required blood work at this moment, just a tb and a flu shot however, she wasn't pleased and brought me back to the doctors office and made me spent another hour , arguing back and forth that I was lying and I absolutely HAVE to get a blood work done. She called me at 8 pm as well, argued on the phone with me and ended the call as well. What she is forgetting is I am the patient and I can refuse and do what I want because it's my care. She embarrassed me and told me she wouldn't sign it so I waisted four to five hours for my follow up appointment and the paper wasn't signed. I really don't recommend any of the community medical center In Tracy or in Manteca. She then asked if my nursing school can reach out to confirm which I did and now she is asking for release of information which I did give my verbal consent to her and told her I don't have a fax machine to get the paperwork back to her . My clinical start next week and I still don't have my paper signed, not pleasant patient care, she spoke very very very rude to me. I really don't know how she became a doctor because she doesn't have good people skills and hardly does a good job at her job. She really needs to not work at this place because she is harming patients care and she isn't giving the clinic the message they are trying to display which is patient care for all and that doctor isn't practicing that message. She waisted peoples time, gas, education and job opportunities. Please to anyone reading this, stay away from this doctor, in fact I am reaching out to her superiors because this shouldn't have happened to me. I missed my clinical in august because of her and now she is about to make me miss the clinical in October. I have done everything right, presented my insurance and documents required for the paper to sign but she insists on a blood work, I have nothing to hide but if the patient is refusing to take a blood test, it's their choice because that's what we fought for so hard to obtain and it's doctors like her who are trying to control us and our decision. And a side note: the nurses in the office look miserable, if you guys are why are you working there? You guys are given an opportunity to help practice patient care and medicine and you all have attitude, are always rude giving answers back to young and older age patients, and you guys honestly don't give a shit. You guys are rude and can't speak to the patients clearly and would rather have your superior come talk to the patient and have the patient argue with your lead nurse, that doesn't help the situation, it escalated it. So to anyone reading this, the city of manteca or a random person, something about this clinic needs to be changed, someone needs to go in there and change the whole system including the medical assistants, nurses and doctors. I lost three months of clinical experience and couldve had a job by now. I could've been earning money but this doctor made me run in circles, made me loose time and money, and I still didn't get what I wanted: patient care and my form signed. AGAIN: take this as a warning, do not go to this medical care facility, they will embarrass you, be very disrespectful, and make you make pointless appointments and not even do proper patient care. However this facility has let the city of Manteca and the people who commute to this place, has let people down. I tried to call them about my dad appointment since 11am and now almost 4:30pm and no one pick up the phone or call back even I pick the option to get a callback multiples times. I came in for gastroenteritis. Dr. Reece didn't supply much helpful information. I had to prompt her. If I hadn't brought up the BRAT diet, I doubt she would have either. She just seemed to always be in a hurry. During that same visit, I also mentioned of an earache as well, so she prescribed antibiotics (cephalexin). I think it is careless to prescribe antibiotics while someone is having a viral infection. It would have been okay if she said to take it after I've recovered from gastroenteritis, but she didn't say anything of the sort. I literally had to ask her is it safe to take antibiotics while I'm having diarrhea and all she said was "I think I prescribed the one that shouldn't affect your stomach" like what??? She clearly was not educated in microbiology and the effects of antibiotics on the intestinal flora. I know antibiotics do not cause side effects in everyone, but in my case it makes me nauseous and have diarrhea, which would have made my gastroenteritis symptoms worse. I mean, if you look up cepahlexin side effects, it literally mentions common side effects include diarrhea. Then I asked her "can I take the antibiotics AFTER I recover from gastroenteritis" and she said "yeah just to be safe" like what what what??? You're the doctor! Not me!!!! I absolutely love the Community Medical Center. I have the most amazing doctor her name is Dr. Bhatia. It took me quite a while to find a wonderful doctor and Dr. Bhatia is the one. She has the most amazing staff everybody is so kind and always concerned with what you have to say or if you have a question always willing to help. I absolutely love that about them. I was looking for a doctor A concerned doctor, where I would be able to get referrals because the doctor felt I needed to see specialists and that's what's happened at the Community medical center here in Manteca. I feel you won't be disappointed. If your looking for a doctor new to the Manteca area or just looking to change doctors I would recommend Dr. Bhatia to you! You will not be sorry. do NOT go here! found out I was pregnant, went for a appointment at 6 weeks, Had blood work done & met with the female OB to discuss the blood work results. FIRST of all, the nurse made my child's father leave the room? & then the "doctor" walked into the room, did not introduce herself. just said "okay, got your blood work results back & you have Gestational diabetes, we'll set you up with a nutritionist" & started to walk out of the room!???? 1st of all, that test is done at 20-26 weeks with a certain drink. not at 6 weeks with blood work! she didn't tell me how I may have gotten it, how to deal with it, if I had any questions, Nothing! Walked out. crying my eyes out because I'm a new mom. first pregnancy & this "doctor" had no type of helpful information or healthy bedside manner! called a new doctor the very same day to get another appointment & get the hell away from this facility! i am now 25 weeks, & had the test done properly & I do NOT have diabetes! save yourself the time & stress and go to a doctor who knows what they are doing! read more

Long story short I was in the waiting room waiting to be called back and I can hear the receptionist talking about me in Spanish and about my reason that I was there and that why was I put on the schedule for that reason and that the doctor wasn't going to want to see me and that who put me on the schedule, that I was already there and said my appointment time. She was talking so loud and just because she was talking in Spanish it doesn't mean that other people can't understand. I went in for a first time patient appointment, and the dr. I seen was the rudest person I have ever met. She had no respect for her patients and treated me like I had no right to be seen or get the equal proper care I need. She told me she has better things to do with her time then to see me as a patient. This was the worst dr. I have ever been to and I will never be going back. The dr's name was Debra Clyde. I waited 2 hours just to be seen by her just to be completely disrespected, I have never felt more upset and hurt from a dr appointment. Community Health Center - Medical Centers Near Me - Manteca, California

My OB appointment was at 2:15pm. I waited in the waiting room for almost 45 minutes then got called to do vitals and give urine sample. I was then told they didn't have a room open and I had to go back into the waiting room until a room opened up. Waited about another 25 minutes to get called into a room. I now got into a room, was told to undress for an exam and to wait about 5 minutes before undressing since the DR was in the next room with another patient still. I have been waiting over 30 minutes undressed still waiting. There was only a handful of people a head of me, that I actually seen leave while I went back in the waiting room for the second time. No one has came in to say how much longer and I still don't know how long the actual visit will be. read more
