The problem is that the manager is the only one that can turn on the tanning beds. There was one week that the manager was sick and I could not use the beds. I have been a restaurant general manager, and I have trained my staff to take care of things when I am not there. Why can't another staff member be trained? And now the manager in charge, as I found out a couple of days ago, no longer works there. So now all tanning beds cannot be used until further notice! I do like being able to go to this facility at any time, and that is the only good point.

And what times will someone be there tomorrow to sign up?" This is the text from the anytime rep "So we have the couples deal which is 18 months at 15.99 biweekly. That includes free tanning, 5 guest passes, and unlimited group classes when we bring those back. Saturdays are by appointment so it's what works best for you guys!" Does anyone read that as $15.99 X2 or $31.98 biweekly? I arranged to come in and sign up during my work day. I went in paid for it and then asked if my wife needed to come in to get her key fob. He then proceeds to tell me that I just purchased an individual membership. It's the old bait and switch. It would have been $64 a month for my wife and I. Does anyone read their text that way? They know if they tell me $64 a month I likely won't come in. The fitness industry is set up to take advantage of you any way it can. Don't trust them and read the fine print. The guy didn't even know how to refund me my money that he just charged my card. He told me he was the manager. We deserve better than this. Very sad :(

Unfortunately, they made some changes and consolidated some spaces, etc. One of those changes was severely cutting their hours. I believe they close at 8:00 p.m. throughout the week now, and 2:00 p.m. on the weekends! These hours don't fit most people's lives, especially mine as a night shift nurse. I can handle rearranging some equipment and even closing the kids club, but if I can't get there because they close so doggone early it's not worth me paying for it. By the way, even though they cut out several hours per week of available gym time for clients, they did not cut out any of the very expensive monthly dues for members. This business is owned by ProMedica and if I didn't know any better I would think that they didn't care about encouraging people to live a healthy lifestyle, and that they only cared about money. And then I remembered that I am a ProMedica nurse and that is absolutely, 100%, the case! They made these changes to the hours from a financial standpoint, not thinking about their clientele or giving a crap if anyone actually visits the gym (so long as they pay their monthly dues).

They can be extremely hard but the coaches work with all levels of fitness seamlessly within the classes. I really like the coaches and my fellow members. They offer so many opportunities for one price it's impressive. I'm a snowbird and Jen works out pricing to accommodate my schedule. The price is very reasonable when considering the options available.

My friend and I went to the gym often but wanted more of a push. We found Live Fit and couldn't be happier. We signed up for personal training there and it's been fantastic. We have similar body types and goals. It was awesome we could work out together with one trainer, which made it less intimidating in the beginning. I also love how they schedule and charge for personal training sessions. Every trainer I have had made me feel comfortable, not judged and pushed me. I feel like they really effort into thinking what workout to do for each client. I did personal training in the past and felt like I spent more time following the trainer from machine to weights to machine than actually working out. We also participated in Live Fits XGT class which is an amazing workout. Due to time constraints I am going back to focusing on personal training.
